Good virtual product, easy to use an manage.
- Considering the amount of expensive laptop to purchase for some company it's great option and ROI.
- Web-based applications are great to save software licenses as well where it allows user to access web servers to use the same app.
- Citrix Virtual Apps reduce your cost significantly. Operating on the cloud helps you cut costs on not only network infrastructure but also on the human resources required to maintain it.
- I can see no negative impact however in case the Citrix Virtual Apps are facing any network issues or downtime then it becomes a bit of an issue as you are dependent on the same for your network connectivity and applications access. However, you can raise a ticket and their support is great and helps you fix the issues ASAP.

Citrix for small business
- The ability to work anywhere they have internet - saves travel time and access
- Management complains about the cost but it is only 0.9% of my budget
- Still miffed citrix took the profit line when work from home was mandated and did not offer any term or discounts for an emergency situation after being customers for over a decade.

Securely Access Anywhere, Run Anywhere - Workspaces
- Being able to easily add new use cases with minimal "re-work" to existing workspace delivered by the solution has been a great ROI value.
- The Security features that are built-in have made the solution a go-to for any remote access or vendor access requests the business has needed to continue projects and expedite digital initiatives.
- While the overall environment stability is excellent there is an increase in support team and end user training required which can "steal" time from admin and engineers.

Easy to manage virtual server/desktop solution
- In this time of Covid-19, it has helped a lot of users to work from home while still having access to everything they need.
- It allows us to save IT Support costs by centralizing the management of our apps.
- Since the majority of the processing power being used is centralized to servers, you can extend the use of desktop hardware regardless of age in most cases.
- If you have Apps that no longer run on modern desktop OS's, you can use Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenDesktop) to keep them alive by running them in a virtual instance on older OS and share them with the newer desktop OS machines.

XenDesktop is a win!
- It has decreased the need for more and more company PCs
- Saved money long term
- Fewer computers for IT to service
- Performing windows and ESXi updates have had to be delayed because of conflicts with Citrix code. This required time consuming justification, memos, and approvals from customers.
- Developers installing packages on their VMs to test new code have caused a VM to lose connectivity with Delivery controller and sometimes unregister the VM.
- Security Audits from a majority of our customers approve the use of Citrix without much scrutiny, as it is trusted to be a secure solution. Expediting over that section of the audit.
