We were looking for a way to increase engagement of our team members on social media. We spend a lot of time curating content for the agency, but then only rely on the agency/company social channels to push the content out. We realize the value of having individuals share the company content to their networks. The reach is far greater, and it can feel more authentic. Our efforts to gain buy in from the team continued to fall short when we ask them do manually do things. So we were looking for a solution to make it seem a bit more effortless.
  • Easily linking to social accounts
  • Intuitive navigation for creating and viewing available shares
  • Good analytics on share performance
  • Ranking and scoring system (badges)
  • Share now vs Share with Peaktime is good
  • Not great for sharing Social Media posts, only content that lives on a web page
  • Sharing across multiple channels simultaneously is available, but can be confusing
  • Facebook shares work differently than LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Need to relink social accounts periodically
Like most platforms, its only as good as how well and how often you use it. It definitely is a good platform for pushing out content to your employee base or team. You need to have a decent size list of people to realize its true capability/value/reach. It requires someone to be regularly loading in content for shares and pushing them out to the individuals. But either from an email or when logged into the platform, a share can be done with just a few clicks.
  • If you're investing more than a nominal amount of time creating content or researching content that needs to be shared, this is a no brainer.
  • The EMV function allow you to get an estimated value of the post shares and their engagement, providing a pretty good picture of what it would cost to earn that type of impression/engagement value.
We started out with Clearview as a pilot at no cost. After using for a time we determine that the platform met our needs and ultimately the return will be there. We did not pilot the other alternatives out there. For the most part, we are happy with the platform.
We haven't had much of a need to leverage the support for Clearview, the functionality has always been there, and the platform does seem to be making continual improvements is usability, navigation and overall functionality.
The user interface is fairly intuitive. It's not hard to find your content, set up your shares, or view your results/analytics. As mentioned, the content available for sharing within Clearview isn't great, but I don't place a ton of value on that, as this is likely intended for more sharing of original, unique content. I do think there still can be some improvements made to setting up shares across multiple platforms at the same time, but overall, it does the job fine.

There are endless ways to leverage this tool which makes it a very intuitive asset to the TEM strategy. For example, you are able to track all assets and IT inventory within the platform and their correlating contracts, contract expiration dates, and everything involving the invoice processing side of those IT inventories. Clearview also tracks regularly processed invoices like utilities and the correlating services offering the payment of these invoices at no additional charge with frees up internal staff to focus on more rewarding/less mundane tasks. Having one central location to track IT assets, process invoices and route the approval for invoices to get paid streamlines internal workflows.
  • Tracking wireless, wireline, WAN, servers, and other inventories for corporate transparency.
  • Controls Costs - NO late fees because each invoice is tracked and approved and paid on time.
  • Accessed via SSL/SSO web so there are no security issues or IT bottlenecks.
  • Refreshed and updated design which amplifies the user experience.
  • Run by a smaller TEM so they are more helpful and dedicated to your needs, versus the big box stores that automate everything or pass you back and forth between representatives.
Clearview is very customizable by the supporting staff for each client which creates a unique experience for each client. For example, the corporate automotive user will have a completely different structure and needs than a hospitality or healthcare user. Having the transparency into the telecom environments is important and I feel that using a software like Clearview helps to make sure inventory is as updated as possible. The cost allocation helps with billing in understanding corporate spending which is extremely helpful when it comes time for budget development and budget cuts. The alternative to Clearview would be Excel spreadsheets which are tedious and cumbersome.
  • Positive. The cost up front is usually 0.5% - 3% MAX and savings are usually upwards of 15% - 30% so there is a massive ROI.
  • The dedicated staff that supports the tool in the background is extremely helpful to address concerns and even requests for custom reports, completely free which is nice.
Clearview is designed and supported by a dedicated team of experts and continuously improving. I receive notifications every other week or at least every month on some of the enhancements and updates that are formally released for us to use.

Clearview's large competitors usually have gone through a handful of merges/acquisitions and float around a handful of software options which complicates the decision-making process and draws concern that they may continue to merge or even dissolve. Clearview is run by an independent, private organization that doesn't sell-off which is nice.
I couldn't ask for better support. Everytime I have a question or concern, I talk to a real live person, and it is always the same project manager or the same supporting analyst if he is out of the office. They really feel like a part of the team since we connect and communicate regularly. I honestly don't think you can find this type of support anywhere today in such an automated world.
