We currently use it to manage projects and assign tasks to our teammates, we follow up on the status of projects, and sometimes we also receive assignments from other locations to provide support to corporate projects and basically any other activity required by a different department.
Pros
  • Search option allows me to find easily whatever I'm looking for
  • UI organized even if there are a lot different folders
  • Integration with other software allows me to create tasks fast and easy
Cons
  • Maybe use different colors in Gant to help the user easily identify visually one specific progress
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited when it comes to following up a project, more than when it comes to daily tasks where a ticket is good enough to resolve common issues.

ClickUp is used to organize tasks, have to-do lists for personal and business uses, keep track of where everyone is on a project, set recurring tasks, and more. It addresses the problem of organization in business and in your personal life. It employs the style of board, list, and kanban style project management, depending on what you'd like to use.
Pros
  • Recurring tasks
  • Easily switching between a calendar of tasks, a list of tasks, and a kanban board
  • Reporting is a great feature as it keeps track of productivity
Cons
  • It sometimes feels like "too much" - one wouldn't think it's a bad thing, but sometimes simplicity can be best.
  • It's not as intuitive as something like Trello.
  • In addition to the "too much", it can feel a little bit "too" customizable. Sometimes when you have limitations, you make use of what's there. When there's too many options for customizations, you spend too much time mapping out the "perfect" process instead of focusing on the tasks at hand.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think ClickUp is a great tool, let me get that out of the way first. I think it's suitable for teams, as well as your personal tasks. It's great if you require a high level of customization with your tasks. However, if you're looking for a simple task manager, I think there are other options out there that may work better for you.

I use ClickUp to organize my projects and assign tasks to other team members. This helps with company-wide projects so I can have team members from other departments. We can communicate with each other about where we are on our tasks without clogging up emails.

  • Shows when tasks are complete.
Cons
  • More visibility on training tools.
  • Training videos.
  • Automation could be a little better.
Likelihood to Recommend
ClickUp is well suited for overall project visibility. I have not found a way to add this tool into my daily workflow at this time. I think with more training and time this can be accomplished.

We use ClickUp to organize things that need to be done by the client and project. The whole organization uses it. The managers organize it by the things that need to be done then our project specialists use the software to go through what needs to be done for each client. It makes it easy to keep things organized and make sure proper assignments get given to the people who need to do them.

Very easy to use, ClickUp makes super easy when you need to assign out a lot of tasks or things to do. It might be a little mundane or not appropriate if you are a single person operation or if you are 2-3 people. But if you have several people under you or need to assign tasks to employees, it can be handy.
