ClickUp is used to organize tasks, have to-do lists for personal and business uses, keep track of where everyone is on a project, set recurring tasks, and more. It addresses the problem of organization in business and in your personal life. It employs the style of board, list, and kanban style project management, depending on what you'd like to use.
- Recurring tasks
- Easily switching between a calendar of tasks, a list of tasks, and a kanban board
- Reporting is a great feature as it keeps track of productivity
Cons
- It sometimes feels like "too much" - one wouldn't think it's a bad thing, but sometimes simplicity can be best.
- It's not as intuitive as something like Trello.
- In addition to the "too much", it can feel a little bit "too" customizable. Sometimes when you have limitations, you make use of what's there. When there's too many options for customizations, you spend too much time mapping out the "perfect" process instead of focusing on the tasks at hand.

We use ClickUp to organize things that need to be done by the client and project. The whole organization uses it. The managers organize it by the things that need to be done then our project specialists use the software to go through what needs to be done for each client. It makes it easy to keep things organized and make sure proper assignments get given to the people who need to do them.

I use ClickUp to track billable time, to organize tasks, and to task work out to different teams of our agency.

- Notifications are overboard across all users when first signing up
- Cannot track time on behalf of other members
- Pasting links always brings up a pop-up instead of the direct link

All of the team uses ClickUp to manage projects through tracking of tasks and dependencies. We use the output of this for reporting to senior leaders in the business. Because we use it as a web app anyone can update the plan and we can give guests access to our clients so they can get a real-time view of progress without waiting for an update report. The problem it addresses is getting a good visual output, which manual plans cannot do, but without the over-featured competitors.

- Template set up is a little tricky. Would be nice for an editor vs saving current cards.
- Navigation at times can be difficult because there is just so much you can do.
- Would love some more options in Zapier to create even more automations.
