We have used clickup over Jira beacuse we have documented all the domain details as per topic and it was easy to manage in the clickup. Also, we are able to manage milestones in clickup very easily. UI for labels is far better in clickup then Jira. That's why we used clickup for our project.

Google Tasks is very basic and lacks the analysis part. ClickUp offers chart capability which is very useful for people who are very visual and despise reading through big chunks of information. I'd say ClickUp is very much of a project management tool as compared to Google Task which the name suggest is only for tasks.

From the above 2 applications ClickUp fared better because its free to use, has a design that stimulates task management and collaboration, but majorly our team liked using ClickUp instead of Notion or Asana. It is important that our team is comfortable using a software that's going to make all our lives easier and so we chose to keep using ClickUp.

ClickUp has the friendliest user interface of any of the other project management apps I've used before. It isn't too overwhelming for brand new users and the board views are clean. We often screen share ClickUp to show where projects stand. We like the fact that each user can customize their own experience to show what's most pertinent to them.

They are all very similar, but ClickUp was easier to use. The UX design is great, everything falls into place. I didn’t have to train anyone from the team on how to use it. They easily understood how it works. It’s simple, clear and straightforward. Every move you make, it’s actually what you expect it to do.

At first, all these apps are quite overwhelming. ClickUp's UX is intuitive. It's more robust and offers better customization for different industries, business scales, goals, and user types. The multiple views, the dashboard, sidebar, are key to adapting the app to your needs. The search feature is robust and very useful.

Monday and Notion look great, but ClickUp's integrations and artificial intelligence (AI) features are way more powerful in comparison. ClickUp is also better suited for larger teams that have more moving parts, so if that sounds like your business, ClickUp will likely prove to be a more effective solution than one of the competing tools on the market.

Bugzilla was our old tool. It was VERY dated from a UI point-of-view. And it did not try to do everything under the Sun - it stuck to what it was intended to do and it did it pretty well. It wasn't a 10 outta 10 product, but we didn't have to fight with it constantly. Whatever it was supposed to do, it did well. ClickUp tries to do everything and doesn't succeed most of the time.

ClickUp helps us to have a proper track of the managements. It helps us to track the workload along with the Time Doctor it helps us to integrate proper time management of the projects required to completed the project before the decline. It have a record or the full details track of the resources required to complete the projects.

Tracking everything in excel is hardest thing and difficult to track all tasks but with ClickUp we can manage everything at one place and is very easy to monitor or track all at a time. It is the easiest way to brainstorm the team whenever the task gets delayed and also, we can be able to check with the team regarding the team goals whether they have achieved or not. It is not possible to do all these stuff in excel or google sheet.

ClickUp is more flexible and easy to make work for your needs, but if you have a custom or more flexible approach on Agile Methodology. Otherwise, I would recommend a more strict tool like Pivotal Tracker.

It is much more intuitive and shows more dev-driven tasks to create stories. Also, the fact that ClickUp enables the system to save multiple files from online to locally uploaded files, and GitLab is the way to archive them. Maybe Asana has new features, but I'm sure Clickup is now my family to evaluate new ideas.

For us, ClickUp was the happy medium between the extensive features offered by Jira (but at an exorbitant cost) and the more modern feel of something like Asana and Trello but with fewer features. ClickUp has really taken all the best features from all these apps and put it into a single app with a single cost, so now we can have everything in one place. It's really just made life so much easier.

Combine its features and have a massive focus on flexibility. Like gant views, task hierarchy, not necessarily too complex options and process.
Jira was more for programmers as well as MS Project.
Todo and Planner are too simple and missing gant or hierarchy of tasks.
Monday was too expansive and has not enough flexibility

The main pain point I had with Asana was the manual work required to plan my days effectively. The interface focuses more on individual tasks and their details, rather than providing that comprehensive bird's-eye view I was looking for. While Asana provides different project views, they are limited to each individual project, and features like the reporting tool are only available on a paid plan. The home and my tasks tabs have been slightly improved by now, but it just was not giving me the overview that I needed to keep my design projects on track and know how much work I had ahead of me for each design project.

Another hurdle with Asana was the free versus paid plans dilemma. I tried making do with the free plan, but I hit limitations left and right and felt like all the features I really needed were locked away, and I couldn't even test them out before committing to a paid plan.

ClickUp's interface is so much more refined than Trello's. From the general visual presentation to the level of control the user has over the interface... It's so much more than a Kanban board, but even its Kanban view is just cleaner. Not to mention that ClickUp doesn't rely on third party development to accomplish its tasks. That can be considered a strength for Trello, in that you could argue that the limits on its functionality are only determined by the limits of its development community. But at a certain scale, there's a level of polish that becomes necessary. ClickUp is just a much more polished product.
