Cloudflare is the best tool to hide your server IP as they are providing proxy service to protect servers and it's almost impossible to bypass its proxy servers, as they are very strong. We are using it to protect DDoS attacks.

Cloudflare tool is a fully trusted tool that provides us with comprehensive DDoS protection and protects websites, applications, and our entire networks while also guaranteeing that genuine traffic is not harmed. It is such an attractive solution that secures and delivers services quickly to protect us against DDoS from the edge. This one is one of the crucial parts of my enterprise cloud and on-premise networks because it is fully positioned to repel even the most powerful attacks. Cloudflare's complex features freed us to enjoy high optimization and excellent performance of our websites by keeping them accessible and protected.
Pros
  • Cloudflare has a solid infrastructure and a knowledgeable and responsive crew.
  • Cloudflare DDoS protection is one of my favorite solutions because it works in concert with other cloud web application firewalls, and bot management services to defend my resources from cyber security attacks of different types.
  • Cloudflare is the best reverse proxy service that protects any applications from DDoS attacks, including SSH, VoIP, FTP, gaming, and all other applications that use the TCP/UDP protocol.
  • Most DDoS assaults are identified and mitigated in under 3 seconds using Cloudflare's centralized and decentralized mitigation mechanisms working together.
Cons
  • Its paid plans, particularly the business plan, have excessive pricing but it provides a free package that has limited features which are not suitable for large corporations.
  • Cloudflare has so many functions, such as video streaming and image scaling, that it may be hard for new users to understand why they need them and how they use them.
Likelihood to Recommend
I strongly recommend companies should implement this greatest, efficient, and versatile DDoS protection solution. Cloudflare's built-in analytics provide companies with more information about their traffic trends, threats detected, and much more, all through the dashboard or via the Cloudflare GraphQL API. CloudFlare's DDoS protection is complemented by rate limiting, which allows for accurate prevention of the most complex and advanced threats against the application layer.

Cloudflare front the internet for us for a number of portals and APIs and protect the business-critical services from a range of internet-based attacks. We saw ongoing attacks on a daily basis and could see the attacks getting more sophisticated, we needed a solution to cater to this. Cloudflare provides us with a reliable and simple-to-use solution.

  • Pricing can be complicated and extras can be over looked

The solution works well for us fronting the websites and portals and catered for the model we use for portal customization with unique FQDNS and SSL certificates. We have enabled the base WAF features and are pleased with the results so far.

Cloudflare provides a robust set of features to put in-front of your web service, including SSL, DDOS protection, DNS nameservers, etc.

We use Cloudflare to protect our web infrastructure. They provide our nameservers, DDOS protection and caching - which we've found much better than on-prem product solutions. We also have found Cloudflare great for SSL. It was easy to transition to https using the Cloudflare tooling. There are a couple of hidden features - such as page rules - which make the business case remain at Cloudflare.

Cloudflare has many tools for protecting a web infrastructure. It is easy to put Cloudflare in front of any web service, whether VPS hosted or AWS or other, and can help control, monitor, and report on your traffic. Their content delivery network (CDN) is world-class and one of the many features we rely upon.

Their DDoS protection allows you to prevent attacks without changing hardware, software or website code.
