(51-75 of 80)Why I love CrashPlan - In a nutshell
- I cannot speak for the bottom line, but I can speak for downtime. If any department is at a situation of "downtime" that interrupts the flow of production, this is potential loss for money. CrashPlan has been used to recover a few shared drives, reducing that downtime in our billing department, which in turn increased work productivity.
One of the most effective backup client
- Precious work won't be lost. You'll never know when you overwrite a file by mistake. Go thru the versions.
- No large server to manage.
- Not time consuming.
Great Backup System at a Great Price!
- Ransomware is a thing of the past. Even when we get hit, we restore from Crashplan and never look back. We got hit with CryptoTesla about two weeks ago and three clicks and an hour later, it was gone.
CrashPlan - Don't crash without it...
- We have found the IT time savings are amazing.
- Cost of restoring data is cut by 90%.
CrashPlan Review - Worth its weight in gold
- Neutral ROI at this point, but should we have to do a major restore, I'm confident it will be very positive.
- It is extremely cost effective.
- Cost effectiveness is of course relative to quality of the service, this has proven to be a quality offering.
- Ongoing support and product upgrades and upgrade deployments has been very successful.
Plan on a Crash
- As a reseller, we make a modest margin with reselling CrashPlan. I don't really care how much we make or don't make, as I feel that it's our responsibility to help our customers protect their data. It definitely helps us do that very easily.
CrashPlan Rocks!
- We have had numerous success stories where a file restore from CrashPlan saved the day, saving thousands of dollars in lost time.
CrashPlan is King
- Prior unreliable backup methods led to more prevalent data loss in the past when hardware failures occurred. With end users on CrashPlan, we can typically restore 100% of their files and documents within an hour of reimaging or replacing their devices.
CrashPlan All about the User Experience
- ROI is hard to calculate with data, but we average about 2 TB of data restored every 30 days. This is available 7 days a week.
- Employee efficiency has gone up since we can cut out the middle man to allow users to restore their data without having to contact IT.
CrashPlan; try it, buy it, relax!
- Users are backed up. User downtime is minimized.
- Viruses are no longer a worry. Data recovery is very easy to accomplish.

CrashPlan Saves My Sanity
- Productivity - When it comes to restoring our users and getting back up and running, this tool is unparalleled.
- Desktop migration - migration from a legacy workstation on to a new one is immediately easy and less painful.
- It can be hard to illustrate a clear ROI if none of our users have a hardware malfunction or malware due to our other network protections. Without a hard crash, sometimes leadership assumes that their invisible tool isn't as useful as it truly can be.
Crashplan saves your data.

Crashing the party with crashplan
- I'm not really in a position to calculate ROI, but does get used a LOT. Certainly there has been enough interest and continued use to have more than covered the operating costs.
