In general, Commvault has been a bit slow to solve the issues that I have presented. The overall response times and avenues for support are excellent. But, the timeframe from reporting the issue to resolving the issue has been longer than some other products I am familiar with.

The cooperation with the support team so far has been excellent. We will be informed on every problem. The first line will help very soon after the ticket is opened. They always meet the appointment. Every problem is solved as soon as possible. When talking with the support team, they immediately indicated that they had the knowledge, and knew where to look. If the problem goes beyond their help frame, the second aid level is immediately activated, the case is raised to a higher level and another call/help meeting is scheduled immediately. The nice thing about this company is that you can follow every ticket online.

I like the product very much. The real winner of this company and application is its staff of support engineers and the management. Seriously, I could hate the application and despise using it and would still subscribe and deploy 100% across the company. No other company works as hard for its users than Commvault. Having a solid application on top of this is more than anyone can ask for.

Generally, Commvault support is very fast. We can send all master server, media agent and clients logs easily with one click. Usually case owner fix the problem with logs and sometimes they need to make remote connection. It is easier to convince them of remote connection or to take the case to a higher level engineer, if we compare to other vendors.

Support from Commvault is some of the best support I have experienced from any technology company. Their engineers are well spoken and truly understand their subject matters. If there is an issue with support it is handled in a timely and thorough manner every time. Though rare, I did leave a less than perfect review after one interaction with support and within an hour I had a manager calling me to discuss and remedy the situation. While you would hope there are never issues, I think it is important to understand what the company is going to do when there is an issue and for that Commvault gets a top score from me.

They are good at technical support but not quick in some cases. They have no clarity in some of the issues the team handles feature-wise. We have to run around the support engineers to get it assigned to proper team and engineer.

After opening a ticket online usually we get a phone call from an engineer within 2 hours. After giving a remote session to them they can sort it out within minutes or they will ask you for some time to analyze logs. However usually a support ticket can be closed within one business day.

Commvault has an excellent support organization that we use whenever needed. Response is fast and they have a high level of knowledge about their product. Combined with an easy way of uploading logs directly from the console, this makes it very easy to start and run a support case.

The product works very well but there have been occasions where we need to contact support. Placing a support is call is easy and fast, depending on the severity of the incident they call you back exactly within the time frame indicated. I have spoken to New Jersey based support people who have expert knowledge of the problem.

As datamanagement processes are depending on all infrastructures, services and applications, the likelihood of something going wrong in a job is high. It is important to have specialists assisting us in pinpointing the solutions to solve any issues wherever they have occurred. Most of the times the issues are not related to Commvault configurations.

Commvault support is some of the best vendor support I have worked with. Their staff are very knowledgeable across all tiers, they are always available to assist, their documentation is always up to date, etc. I have not run into any issues that Commvault support has not been able to help resolve.
