I use it to book travel and to create and submit expense reports. I live between two airports that I use for work travel. There is no way to compare flights, times, and costs between the two without backing out of the current search for one airport and searching for the second. I get an error if I attempt to look up the other in another tab. This can tie up quite a bit of time if I am trying to minimize travel time or look for the least expensive option.
Pros and Cons
  • Once flights and hotels are selected, not much extra work has to go in to book.
  • The app is helpful to enter receipts.
  • Emails about trips are useful.
  • I wish it would warn me when an expense is about to be delinquent rather than after.
  • Often glitches and backs me out of what I am doing.
  • Looking at flights between two airports or trying to plan for arriving the day of or the day before is tricky. You can only have one search open and have to leave the current query to do another.

The site backs me out of what I am doing fairly frequently, and some receipts that I have entered in the app sometimes do not save, so I have to submit a lost receipt note.

We utilize workflow rules for processes outside of the normal workflows and audit rules to ensure company policies and procedures are being followed.

Great for processing a high volume of expense reports. It can be tedious to allocate to multiple cost objects. It can also be tedious for admins to find specific reports after they have been posted. It has much better integration with S4 than the Legacy system. I appreciate the ability to return a report for corrections if it fails to post into S4.

We use Concur for travel booking, expense, and invoice verification and posting. Concur solved our problem of having multiple different software that managed all of these on different platforms and allowed us to combine into a single platform. This also allowed us to have the ability to drill back from the general ledger to view invoices without having to copy and go look up the invoice in a different system.

  • Having the ability to capture expenses and post them directly back into SAP.
  • Robust reporting from both the invoice and expense side that we did not have with prior software
  • Make accessing invoices for lookup easier to navigate.
Likelihood to Recommend
The ability to pull an expense accrual for month end for our T&E reporting has made the end of month process reporting on this extremely easier than what we were doing prior pulling manual data from SAP.
