We are better able to research topics of interest to our audience, research competition, monitor our progress, and report on results. We have grown our organic market share and increase organic traffic since starting to work with Conductor in 2021. Also, our entire Marketing team is much more knowledgeable about SEO than we were before Conductor. I describe Conductor as the SEO tool to help you level up.

Good experience so far, looking forward to further working with Conductor on our SEO objectives!
We use Conductor as an SEO tool. I've used it primarily for keyword research and to build out workspaces for our key products & services pages on our website as our goal is to strengthen our SEO ranking for these pages and our website overall. We've also used the market place feature to submit OMRs every month. And worked with our account team to set up reporting and map out our SEO goals.
- Account management - service has been great so far/ team is good to work with.
- Teaching on how to navigate the new tool/new features.
- Platform is easy to navigate
- Maybe add an addition of resource page, where people could go to refresh their knowledge of how to use the tool/ general SEO best practices/learning documents.

The best SEO decision we have made so far
We are using Conductor in several ways. With Conductor, multiple teams in our marketing department have access, and we find the keyword research in their research > explorer section to be the most helpful in many cases. Here is where our content team can write their articles, blog posts, or landing page copy, and quickly identify which keywords to use based on the topic they are writing. Our web team uses Conductor to access the Deep Crawl scan where we get insight into where we need to fix issues on the site from redirect chains to broken images. I also greatly value the ease of batch exporting and updating the keywords we have, as this makes it easy to segment our keywords into categories that help with either reporting purposes or actionable tasks.
Some business problems that Conductor can solve include content creation for SEO purposes primarily, and speeding up time to find which links are good to add to the content. We are big fans of the partner marketplace through Conductor and some of the offerings there from offsite link building to video creation, which internally we do not have the bandwidth for. This also includes partner content creation which we are leveraging for refreshing content on many of our SEO pages.
- The Keyword Research Explorer tool in Conductor is excellent. It fits the needs of our content team directly. As they write content they can add that topic into Conductor and see the results of keywords they can use, or quick answer rich results gives them the edge to create strong SEO content on their own without using multiple teams.
- The batch edit of keywords is also a great and easy feature of Conductor. We have hundreds of keywords we monitor and being able to quickly batch update these keywords and add categories to them, give us an edge in reporting on keywords as well as making decisions based on these categories.
- Deep Crawl Site analysis through Conductor is a powerful scan tool. We have multiple SEO scanning tools, but Deep Crawl finds things that other tools in the industry have failed to find. We have been able to improve the performance of the site based on this tool.
- I would like to see a feature to manage the backlink disavow list through search console. If Conductor is able to add this, we may be able to drop one of our other tools and save some money in that area.
- Conductor has a lot of features and can be a bit overwhelming. It is a strength and a weakness, as it takes time to learn all that is available.
- Another feature I would like to see is more integration with GA, we leverage creating annotations in GA and it would be great to have those pulled into the Conductor dashboard automatically.

An overall great tool that is only improving.
Conductor has been used primarily by the SEO team. We have began training our content team to use Conductor to identify content opportunities. With Conductor we able to provide great competitor insight and market share data that is close to what I deem accurate. The ability to create dashboards that provide in-depth insights specific to your needs is also appreciated. SERP features presented on keywords also shows the available opportunity that we can target.

Conductor Review
Conductor is being used to track organic search by the marketing department on multiple sites with the possibility of expanding usage globally. Overall, we use Conductor to help fine-tune webpage content, determine search share, understand which content channels perform the best, and help us address areas for improvement when it comes to optimization.
- Organizes all things search into one tool
- Provides solid answers to stakeholder questions quickly
- Offers a robust platform that can be heavily customized to provide the information necessary to address nearly all views of search data (and a few outside of search).
- It took us a while to make the platform fit our needs. There was a lot of work involved in customizing reports, segments, making sure Conductor was accurately seeing the website the way we designed (content mapping, segmentation, etc.). The tools are all there, but some assembly required.
- API costs extra
- There are direct integrations for platforms like Domo. I haven't seen one for Tableau. There might be one, but I haven't found it.
Conductor has been key for us in a major website migration project that is joining about 300 websites into a single enterprise site and platform. Conductor helps with URL research to support migration but it is most important in provide a picture of SEO value of our current sites and making sure we don't loose this value with our move. The platform also helps us predict for better performance and optimize the site we create. We have trained business users across our global company to use the platform to understand performance and competition. Conductor is a key partner and tool in our digital marketing transformation.
- Professional services teams that are on top of their tech skills and can apply that to help us problem solve technical and strategic problems. For example, URL inventories and SEO evaluations per page for large and cumbersome websites.
- Conductor lets me understand how my products and services compare to competitors (some I know and some that aren't even on my radar) so I can make decisions about to make sure my content shows up where I think it should.
- Conversely, it also shows me where my content shows up that I didn't expect or plan for. Sometimes this a great learning for business users that drives new content or concepts to build on success.
- While monitoring the health of my website is not a key function of the platform, it does give me just enough clues (like broken links or poor page performance) to ask questions about development etc.
- Conductor has been excellent partners in training a wide range of business users and providing proof of strategic value of the platform's performance and impact.
- I need backlinks. Please consider integrating an industry leading tool like Majestic directly into your platform.
- I love the newsletters we used to get...I don't know what happened to those, but please bring them back or something else that includes that content in an easy to consume format with the same fun flair.

Our marketing team uses Conductor primarily as a content and SEO tool. Our paid, social and analytics teams also have access. We use it to identify content opportunities and to track how well our content is performing.
- Keyword research - trended search volume, journey stage, competition, related phrases and questions
- Support team - customized reports each month from their support team based on your requests looking at technical, keyword research, competitive insights, recommendations, etc.
- Reporting - Robust reporting features
- Content integration - More holistic picture of how content and SEO work together
- There's a learning curve to the system so takes a little bit to get proficient in using it

Conductor Truly Sheds Light on SEO!
Conductor is being used by our Marketing department, specifically our Digital Marketing Team. Our original intention in pursuing a partnership with Conductor was based out of a need to be able to effectively identify what our competitors were doing to beat us to page one of Google for specific search terms.
We also had a need to identify gaps and holes in our online content strategy. Conductor not only shows us what our competitors are doing to win at SEO, but it also gives recommendations on how to take action on the opportunities that are within striking distance. We did not have the budget to hire a team of people to do what Conductor can do for a fraction of the cost.

- Recommendations, in my opinion, are the best thing about Conductor. The recommendations dashboard gives my team ideas for quick wins with SEO, which saves me time from having to manually mine data to determine in on my own.
- Competitor analysis is essential to how we use Conductor. Being able to identify what our competitors are ranking for specific search terms in specific regions is crucial to making good SEO decisions.
- The explorer tool is great for planning new content ideas. The data that it provides saves so much time when determining what keywords to target for new content.
- Set up time is a bit long, but the great thing is you know that the Conductor team is working hard to get it set up right the first time around. Measure twice, cut once.
- The platform is very robust and can be overwhelming for non-tech savvy people. Although the platform is user-friendly and designed well, the learning curve is quite steep.
- Training was quick and to the point. I wish it has been a little longer and more in-depth.

We use Conductor for our university website. It is currently used by our Marketing department in order to strategize our content. Previously, our website was a free-for-all without any SEO implementation. We are working to gain a competitive advantage online by utilizing our keyword research and competitive analysis as well as maintaining our site health and ADA compliance with their site analysis. Being a team of one at the moment, Conductor's customer service and access to a team whenever needed is a lifesaver. I fought leadership for over 8 months to get approval to partner with Conductor and it was well worth the struggle!
- Customer Service. By far what they offer is the best. I have access to a team and their calendars. So when I need to set up a meeting I know when they are available. They are easy to talk to and help me work through any problem I might be having.
- Reports. I've seen reports by some of their competitors and quite honestly wasn't sure what I was looking at. But Conductors reports can be streamlined to fit several different audiences and I can email them out (automatically) whenever I want to whomever I want, whether they are a Conductor user or not.
- Competitive Analysis. I've not done a lot of comparison with other vendors, but I like the convenient, straightforward way Conductor shows your competitors and how they are ranking in comparison to you. You have control over your competitors and can change them when needed.
- Site Analysis. Conductor uses DeepCrawl for its site analysis. While this is a powerful tool that helps me know everything wrong with my website like - no titles, short descriptions, no Alt tags, etc - the amount of information can be overwhelming. Initially, I had thousands of errors I was trying to fix using DeepCrawl - it was difficult to know what I had corrected and what still needed to be corrected without doing another crawl. It would be helpful if there was a way to check off things that had been fixed as I was working through the list.
- Conductor does a great job training. First, they introduced me to Conductor and walked me through everything, and helped me create workspaces and set up reports. Then we moved on to the site analysis with DeepCrawl. Because I had so much work to do from the site analysis it was a while before I got back into Conductor. I had forgotten much of the training by that point. But the team is helping me get back into the flow of things again. They are great like that!

Conductor is being used by practically everyone in the marketing department. Everyone from our copywriter to our digital marketing specialist has greatly benefited by using Conductor. On my end, this solves the issue of reporting and creating workflows for the team. Conductor combines the reports all into one place with a weekly report which I can just forward off to the leadership team. These reports have made it easy for me to analyze our current performance and make business decisions based on the data. Our copywriter and communications specialist use it for content analysis and looking at the content gaps on our site. Our digital marketing specialist uses it to enhance our web pages for SEO best practices.
- My favorite part of Conductor is the reporting features. I can't speak highly enough of the reporting. Before Conductor, we didn't have much visibility into how our efforts were affecting our site traffic and rankings, but now, showing the leadership team that the marketing team is doing a good job is easy! I just forward our executive team the weekly reports and they seem to love it too!
- The account management team has been beyond helpful throughout the entire engagement. They have been responsive to all of our needs and questions even after our account was set up. Their expertise is beyond valuable and they help us think creatively on ways to use the platform we aren't currently using.
- One of the best parts of Conductor is the ease of use for users of all experience levels. We have beginners and experts using the platform alike and it seems to be a great fit for everyone.
- Conductor's Explorer feature makes it easy for us to develop new content. Before we were manually searching for topics to write about, now it's easier than ever.
- We track backlinks every week for our executive team, Conductor doesn't have an easy way right now to find this information. However, our account management team has been fantastic and has been providing this information for us every week.
- Getting set up in Conductor is time consuming and takes some effort internally, but is primarily done by the Conductor team. It may be worth having longer strategy sessions with the teams for a shorter implementation time.
- Market Share only shows your market share within your tracked keywords. I think it would be beneficial to see how we rank against our competitors on keywords we're not tracking. This may expose some keywords we're not tracking that we should be tracking.

Our team primarily uses Conductor to monitor our content performance and to optimize our existing content with keyword suggestions. On a day-to-day basis, it is utilized by our marketing and website strategy team.

- Customer Success - Every single interaction we have had with the customer success management team has felt seamless and productive.
- Product Features - There are almost too many to feature. Whatever your strategy and set of objectives may be. There bound to be something in Conductor to help you meet your end goals.
- Ease of Use - The Conductor interface is incredibly easy to pick up and use right away. The learning curve is not very steep and it caters to all SEO familiarity levels.
- Frankly, the only thing I can think of us is that our team is too small to take advantage of all the features within Conductor.

- I love how they've paired the platform with an agency. They've really taught us how to utilize the platform in order to make better informed decisions.
- Overall, the platform is a little pricey. But, if you have the room in your budget it's well worth it.

Conductor has quickly become an essential tool for team members across our organization. Because of the versatility of the platform, teams with different objectives and areas of focus are able to leverage the data in ways that cater to their unique objectives, while being able to collaborate with other teams within a consistent framework. Our Content team is able to conduct audience and keyword research, our Product Marketing team is able to analyze and compare content segments to identify top performing products, and our Paid and Organic Search teams are able to quickly point out areas of light or overly saturated keyword coverage and create a more efficient search strategy.

Few Hiccups, but Best SEO Platform Out There Still
We currently are using Conductor across our organic search department, our content department and at points our social department. Usually we are using it to track organic keywords nationally and locally for our clients and use it for ideation for blog and knowledge center ideas. We utilize it in reporting for our clients about the competitive landscape as well to show how they are stacking up against their cited competitors and other high ranking sites.
- The audience intent explorer is an invaluable tool for finding related topics and other content ideas.
- The prebuilt reports and goals in the platform are spectacular for providing holistic view of the aggregate ratings of clients' keyword profile.
- Workspaces allow for an easy way to build dashboards to easily get insights from the data allowed through the platform.
- Customer support is absolutely incredible and helps within seconds of reaching out.
- The way to perform bulk updates is a bit clunky by having to download the entire set and make manual changes in Excel.
- Not enough functionality having to do with backlinks and unlinked mentions for brands.
- Features like daily rankings tracking and Deepcrawl are an additional cost rather than being part of the platform.

Robust features & excellent support
I've been able to incorporate Conductor into my daily workflow, something I wasn't as easily able to do with our former SEO monitoring tool. The onboarding was excellent, so I felt ready to use it from the get-go, and my bi-weekly calls with our customer success manager ensures I stay up to date on new features and continue to use the keyword and page performance tools that are the mainstay of the platform.

Great Product, Great Service, Great Learning Experience
Conductor is our main tool for keyword tracking and measuring visibility. The tool is great for identifying keyword gaps on our client sites, completing comprehensive research and working towards an effective editorial calendar or content plan that helps us drive performance and close the gaps we identified. We are using Conductor as our all-around SEO tool so we track our rankings, check in on our competition and develop content through the keyword research tool. As of now, the SEO team is the only one who utilizes the tool, but it has been extremely beneficial because we are able to see and find where we are lagging, what our improvements are, and gives us a clear direction on strategy. Our business problems are solved within a quick look at the Insight Stream. It's been completely invaluable.
- Any person that works in SEO should know three things: where you're winning, where you have opportunities to rank better, and how your competitors rank. Conductor rolls up all of those aspects in a friendly user experience. It's especially helpful if you're in a time crunch and people want to know information quickly. Conductor knows these are things you need.
- Implementation of the Search Console has been beneficial. This helps us to see how our rankings, versus our page consoles, work together. This is one of the reasons why Conductor sets itself apart. It does help us to see the information in a pared down manner in order to help us see our opportunities.
- The diversification of Workspaces allows anyone to custom use the tool. Every business has a different goal and being able to identify the needs based on that goal helps you decide where you can find the opportunities to help you win. It only takes a few seconds to set one in.
- I would like to see more in the area of backlinks and find out where the backlinks are coming from. This helps us to be able to disavow if we need to and identify the bad "endorsements".

Your Organic Search is Over
We utilize Conductor on behalf of a manufacturing client, to optimize their website and provide content guidance with the end goal of boosting their SEO efforts. Being able to see what keywords make it to the top of search results, first page, or beyond is very helpful. This is mainly used in the marketing department.
- Conductor makes it easy to monitor your organic search traffic.
- Being able to see monthly search volume by keyword allows for focus on data driven - important keywords, rather than what's thought to be important.
- Having insights into how you compare against your competitors or even channel partners is helpful.
- If you're not in it everyday, navigation can be a bit tricky.
- It took 3 weeks to get a data connection issue resolved, which had caused us to temporarily lose insights during that period.
- There's a decent learning curve on the platform.
