A ton, it informs ways we can make our site more user-friendly and accessible, with respect to navigation, page and site content, and even our colors, alt text, etc. We especially use it to collaborate between SEO and content teams - whether it's the SEO person seeing that certain words are performing for competitors (or that we're not performing well for where we should be) and encouraging us to make content around it, or having them research keywords for a piece we already plan to write.

We don't have enough people using Conductor right now, but our Account Manager, Jessie, has been increasingly useful in helping everyone get on the same page when it comes to creating content that satisfies user intent. I'm confident we'll be using some of the Custom Action features down the road.

We give suggestions to our web team on how to best optimize product names, category names, and blogs. Since we are always moving around the site, we are able to spot parts of the site that are not complete and give recommendations on where we can improve our SEO and user experience as well. Conductor is our go-to place when we receive a question on how to make a change to a page or the site in general.

Using workspaces within Conductor makes it incredibly easy for a beginner with the tool. They provide short, easy to use training courses directly from the platform. Very few other tools provide their own training, saving the company money long-term, and saving everyone in the department time. has provided our team a way to come together more efficiently and review what our future strategy should be. Our teams can move quickly to address issues on our pages and set up notifications for each other when necessary. This has strengthened our communication and assisted us in organizing our data in ways that benefit the entire organization.

This tool provides insights for our entire marketing department, particularly with product positioning and competitive white space. This has resulted in custom blog content, advertising assets, press release restructuring, and site architecture. We've also brought our website agency to the tool which has created some efficiencies with reporting and competitive research as well.

Our SEO and content teams are, partially, the same, so the collaboration is excellent! Having the SEO available for content creation and posturing makes the content creation that much easier. Building the content with SEO in mind has been very valuable.
The web team doesn't use Conductor directly but is given info for changes that need to be made, etc. by those that use conductor

Conductor enables cross-team collaboration through the features it offers in the tool, as well as allowing for multiple users in different teams to access the tool and get their value out of it. Our Conductor account manager has been excellent in providing access and training to the different teams, such as the Search team and the Content team.

I've touched on this several times already, but this is my favorite thing Conductor [(Formerly Conductor Searchlight)] does. Their platform is set up to allow our SEO and Content teams to collaborate on the many steps of the collaboration process, from initial competitive and gap research to topic selection and outlining to measurement and performance. It's been invaluable in bringing those two groups closer and making them more efficient. It also helps the onboarding process for new employees, as we know they're all getting the same view and ramp process.

We have every strong collaboration in place between our SEO manager, web team and content team. Learnings from SEO and the web performance is presented and discussed with content teams on monthly basis. Our content team does not have the bandwidth to login to Searchlight yet to leverage the content update piece. Something to explore when we have resources.

Collaboration generally occurs when our internal content team is looking for how to boost the SEO elements of a content piece. Most of the time this means finding keywords and where to link them to. Through a combination of reports, including Conductor's Keyword Research Explorer tool, our SEO team provides a report to the Content team with suggested keywords and Preferred Landing Pages. Outside of those reports, each member of the content team has access to Conductor and can easily enter the topic they are writing about in the keyword research explorer tool and find keywords with links there, saving time between the teams. The SEO and Web team also leverage Conductor's Deep Crawl Scan to fix redirect chains on old content or fix other areas identified by this scan.

I could organize different pieces of training with the Conductor team members and with our coworkers in our company. I also facilitate access to the platform in order to improve the content optimization and use of potential keywords and analysis. The market share analysis provided for Conductor could help us to impact our ranking and improve our visibility for our different e-retailers.

We have yet [to] connect our web team directly with Conductor in terms of workflow and task management, but we are determining recommendations based on Conductor analysis and them translating this into requests for our web team via an internal ticketing system. Our SEO and content teams are working together in a similar manner.

Conductor has allowed me to work closely with the digital marketing team to target areas and keywords that we should be trying to rank for vs keywords other domain properties should be ranking for: i.e. .com vs blog vs support. We are no longer competing against each other for traffic!

I really enjoy Conductor's collaboration features because it allows multiple team members who are involved in SEO to view our Google Search Console and Google Analytics data without us having to sacrifice permissions or security. Having members in a single platform also enhances our understanding of our research strategies since we are using the same tool.
