We're using ContractWorks to centralize, organize and increase visibility on our supplier contracts. Previously, contracts were housed with various departments. Centralization allows us to see when one supplier provides multiple services across the Enterprise. Tagging Templates allow us to easily create alerts for term and language updates, as well as run reports for specific Ts & Cs.
  • The product allows you to grow into the features and price points. No additional charges for implementation support. We started with one department, then shared our positive experiences with other departments to gain wider acceptance.
  • Stellar customer support! Great variety with video, email, and phone assistance. Product training and tutorials are also readily available for self-service. The short (live or on-demand) webinars are quick, to the point, and very helpful to continually learn how to better use ContractWorks.
  • The flexible folder structure is super easy to set up and match needs for each department. Easy to navigate and drag & drop to load documents.
  • ContractWorks account managers listen to customers and the organization responds with new and improved features.
  • ContractWorks continues to improve upon and expand platform capabilities
  • Bulk sending contracts/documents for annual updates and eSignatures
  • I haven't gotten the hang of creating Reports. It's still mostly trial and error for me.
When compared with other options for us, ContractWorks was easiest to understand, more affordable, and most flexible. Users of all levels could catch on quickly so acceptance of the tool is better.

  • Able to access contracts without challenges when staff changes
  • Milestone alerts allow us to be proactive rather than reactive for renewals
  • Better document version control to keep all Ts & Cs up to date.
  • Ability to 'match' or identify related documents
ContractWorks let us start small with a small investment, then scale up as our organization engages in the tool. Agiloft prep and implementation would have been complex, time consuming and costly. This allowed us to save on costs in the early months and prove the value of ContractWorks at a lower cost. Only as our organization uses the platform more, do we incur additional, associated costs.

Easy to learn and use. Flexible and uncomplicated. Hits on all critical Contract Management points.
Support is always quick, and accessible by various methods: eBooks, videos, telephone, emails. Frequent live short webinars are very helpful. Everyone is helpful and will get you a prompt answer.
Whenever we ask about a functionality, the ContractWorks team works with to find a current solution. If not already on the drawing broad, they'll look into getting it there.

Two Administrator set up Users, Roles/Access and eSign License. That's about all that's required. ContractWorks' flexibility and similarity to a common file folder directory make adoption and use super easy.
  • Matching multiple POs to Master Service Agreements to maintain budget
  • Weekly eSign Aging alerts to follow up on pending documents
  • Confirming Data Protection Agreements for ISO 27001 Audits
  • Bulk Sending and tracking of Giving Tuesday donation campaign results
  • Identifying same supplier used by separate companies in the Enterprise to leverage value
  • Auto Tag Templates for newly ingested documents
  • Document version control
  • more robust reporting
Current Supply Chain users find great value in ContractWorks. We've been able to demonstrate a better, faster, efficient, cost effective way to solve document and data requirements. ContractWorks is gaining greater interest and acceptance across the Enterprise.

  • Product Usability
Contract Management had to be easy to implement and use to gain acceptance across the enterprise. Otherwise, various departments would not consolidate into a central repository.
We reviewed a lot of solutions ranging from custom builds to well-known names. For our needs, ContractWorks is a good fit and a good value that allows flexibility and growth at a great value. I wouldn't change the evaluation and selection.
No, I dont think "premium" support was an option. ContractWorks support has always been terrific.

Yes, as soon as I asked about Bulk Sending documents, Alexa emailed about training and enabling the feature. Ethan delivered a same live day demo and offered to help set up our project. When we assembled our information, Ethan reviewed it and walked through the process again to make sure we wouldn't have problems. The added support so that we are not left to trial and error with a time sensitive project is much appreciated. Alexa and Ethan didn't know this was a very important, but last minute project - but they made sure we were successful.
  • Uploading and downloading documents
  • Folders and permissions
  • Searching for documents
  • Tagging milestone alerts
  • Took me a bit to get used to creating reports
  • Learning to create a Tag Template took a little trial and error, but individual tags can be set
Tasked with finding a cost conscious Contract Management platform, we knew change and acceptance across the Enterprise would come slow. Using ContractWorks means not overspending in initial months with fewer users. As our core group becomes more proficient and we demonstrate/prove ease of use to other departments with scale up use and cost together
I've never heard that we've had an outage or error and I 'm in ContractWorks days, evenings and weekends.
We haven't integrated ContractWorks with other systems. Otherwise, reasonably sized documents load fairly quickly and reports extract quickly. I work remotely sometimes it takes an extra minute.
Very easy to work with. All of our preliminary questions were answered prior to the demo. After the demo, we were able to set up a free trial. There was no pressure and they asked if there was anything further that we would like them to develop.
Very easy. Customer support was friendly and flexible. They were very patient and met with us on our timeline giving us any guidance and assistance we asked for.
The pricing stated on ContractWorks.com is extremely reasonable and works well for us.
ContractWorks is very accommodating and has packaged pricing to grow and scale without overspending.

We use ContractWorks to serve as an archive for executed agreements and supporting documentation, including employment agreements. We also use its approvals function to mediate our internal contract review process and to sign documents electronically. It is used by the administrative offices of this healthcare organization for all documents executed by the company. It has made managing our archive much easier, permitting text-based search of documents spanning several decades. This is a vast improvement on the simple directory folder we had in the past. Furthermore, electronic review, signature, and approval has significantly simplified the contract review process and permitted paperless review at any time on any device for our major stakeholders. It has been a game changer.
  • Ease of use/simple to teach.
  • Unlimited document storage.
  • Exceptionally helpful and prompt support.
  • Responsive developers.
  • Allowing changes to documents midway through approvals/signatures.
  • More sophisticated interface for searching in document text would be nice.
  • Some ability to restart agreements that have been declined by intermediate approvers would be nice also.
ContractWorks is an excellent solution for any organization in our position: going from no contract management solution at all to one that is simple to use, easy to train on, and does the basics exceedingly well. The product is constantly evolving and adding new functionality that we have found very, very useful. Over the years since we adopted it, we have found that our users want more and more out of its functionality, and at times we have had to explain to stakeholders that there are limitations to this software (especially concerning changing the content of a document sent for review in the software itself, which cannot presently be done). It is very easy to manage user roles and permissions, and it's very easy to use the product from any kind of smart device.

More sophisticated users that use more sophisticated products already may find that the kind of robust in-software document editing/revision functions that some contract management products offer just isn't here, and that is true. There are reporting features here that are more than enough for organizations starting from scratch, but are probably limited for organizations looking for very granular information about their contracts. There is a significant time investment involved in tagging your contract database when it enters ContractWorks, although I suspect that is true for just about all products.

The price represents very good value for money.

  • Complete elimination of paper-based review process.
  • Greatly enhanced search capability for legacy documents.
  • Enhanced satisfaction among contract reviewers, ease of use.
I demo'ed Agiloft and ContractWorks when we were searching for a product for us, and while Agiloft seemed like an excellent product with a full suite of features, it was just far more than we needed to address our primary issues: moving our database to a secure, searchable platform. Agiloft allowed some of the in-product editing features that ContractWorks lacks, but it required extensive training for which we would have to hire Agiloft, limited storage of documents, and a very significant investment of employee time to create superusers. Our sense was that if we needed a more sophisticated product in the future, we could easily switch over from CW (which permits simple, immediate download of your entire contract archive) to Agiloft but not the reverse.
Wrike, Todoist: To-Do List & Task Manager, Any.do
This is a highly approachable product, even for users who are not quick to learn or who have only a basic mastery of basic software applications. If you find that you have members in your organization who have struggled to adapt to a working-from-home model, you may find that this product creates a simple point of entry for them. It is similar in interface to products they have used before and includes generous, high-quality support.
My questions are answered just about immediately, and this is true for all members of my team who have reached out for support. Furthermore, when we have asked about features that do not yet exist, we received detailed commentary from the company and its developers letting us know whether we could realistically expect any of those features to come to be. I am beyond satisfied with support.

We have multiple departments using it as a contract management software to ensure that contracts and their requirements are being tracked as well as using it as an electronic tool to sign documents.
  • E-sign
  • KPI tracking
  • Notifications of key milestones
  • E-sign: Transferring of signatures would be ideal or the loading of a personal signature into the e-sign field rather than a generic signature being populated.
  • AI: The tagging does not pick up things nor does the software really learn what you want it to. There is a fair bit of manual data entry that has to be done.
It is great with setting up notifications and tracking key milestones. However, when there is a requirement to initial every page of a document, one must click on multiple e-signature fields.

  • It has opened up a lot of time that contract managers/administrators wasted.
  • Added efficiencies and the ability to manage contracts remotely.
ContractWorks is the sole software that I have used. Prior to this, I used a spreadsheet and Outlook notifications to manage contract milestones.
It is user friendly and simple.
Despite being on the other side of the world, support/responses have always been prompt.
