  • Personalization - Delivers content, interfaces, and journeys tailored to individuals, not segments. With a search and content personalization platform, AI tailors content instantly, letting clicks and queries shape the experience, not thousands of rules.

Coveo is available as solutions for various use cases:

Ecommerce

Delivering personalized customer experiences in real-time, optimizing with every customer click and interaction. And as an alternative to popularity sorting, Coveo AI can showcase offerings that are both relevant to individual customers and that contribute to profitability. Coveo will also automatically ensure that search results reflect the right products and pricing according to data in a connected CRM or ERP data, managing product restrictions at query time based on this data.

Coveo also helps to manage the complexity of B2B ecommerce, so that buyers can navigate catalogs efficiently with search capabilities tailored to their needs- from partial part number search to dynamic filters. Or boost a marketplace's performance with relevant search results and personalized buying experiences. Coveo can display the products visitors are most likely to buy with an algorithm that leverages every shopper interaction and datapoint (eg. site behavior, profile attributes, similar users, and frequently added to cart).

Service & Support

AI improved answers for customer self-service, and AI-driven discovery for contact center support. Coveo can also provide engaging content for community sites, with insights into how these groups discover and use content. Coveo can also give customers the help they need inside an app or SaaS product, so they can get things done without ever leaving. Personalized content recommendations can be provided in-app to help users self-serve.

Website

For general sites, Coveo helps to connect each visitor to the content they need with intelligent site search and recommendations. Personalize the experience and help them engage, learn, and convert. And then make sure internal site search is as intuitive for customers as the search engine that brought them in, with features like as-you-type query suggestions, typo tolerance, and relevance-based result rankings.

Workplace

Help that enables employees to work more effectively and productively in the systems they already use, by unsiloing knowledge with AI-powered search and information discovery into workplace apps. Coveo's AI can be layered into a workplace intranet software, to make the company's digital hub a go-to place for employees. Coveo centralizes access to knowledge resources from various repositories and personalizes the experience for each department and person. In a connected knowledge management system, Coveo search can make it easier for domain experts to find information and documents specific to their line of work, whether it's sales, legal, or engineering.

Coveo is currently implemented within our company's ecosystem, which is a portal where employees can read about current company news, recent events, and access a number of tools provided for our day-to-day work. Many files are saved onto this portal, and employees can search within the portal to find what they need. This is where we use Coveo - they are our primary search engines within this portal. They help dig through our massive database of files.
  • Coveo is fast, search results come up quick (though it's not always great).
  • Not much complexity to run.
  • Coveo is implemented within our portal and doesn't require extra steps to use it.
  • Coveo does its job but is lacking.
  • The results displayed by Coveo are not always relevant.
  • The results displayed by Coveo are not sorted, nor is there an option to sort.
  • The results displayed by Coveo are not location-specific, so results not relevant to my area or country gets shown.
Coveo is well-suited for larger companies that have a huge amount of files sitting its databases. For a company of more than 100K employees, Coveo does a nice job of sifting through massive piles of data. For example, if I wanted to find something about 401K matches, I could type that into the Coveo search bar on our portal and it would give me all the files in our system about investing in 401K in our company. The results don't take too long to come up as well.
  • Quick to find things in a massive database when needed.
  • Results need to be more concise - sometimes we spend more time looking for the right file than if we were to just search amongst our own networks instead.
  • Coveo is not always the most useful but does its job when general information is needed.
