Although the other products were good, CrowdStrike Falcon Complete had more to offer and had a much cleaner, more intuitive interface.

It was the easiest to deploy and manage, while the dashboard was also very clear and precise in terms of useful information.
Another major reason in selection CrowdStrike Falcon was its AI and ML detection capabilities which really impressed us during evaluation. Other tools analysed were not too bad either but seemed complex to operate and use.

Managed service for EDR operation

Having a single console to manage all the different modules is a great plus against all the other competitors.
Also, being a cloud native solution, single agent for everyhing, and the ease of use of the whole solution is a plus.
Even the extras as CS Falcon, which makes you able to manage things using powershell scripts.

We moved on from Symantec and compared with Sophos - the impact (performance) to the endpoint is very minimal - our engineers always fight new security tools. During testing, they were running CrowdStrike for 2 weeks when they asked when we would install the new EDR tool to their devices.

High ENS compliance and client requirements.

Next Gen antivirus solution. You don't need your own infrastructure for the service. Deployment is very easy and fast. Only one sensor on the clients with very low CPU impact. Easy multi factor deployment. Good overview in the console over your entire envirement. Very good and fast malware protection of the clients.

At the time we evaluated the products, CrowdStrike was clearly leading in this space. It's possible since that time so other products have added additional features and may be equivalent.

There is no comparison to other products in the security space. Crowdstrike is definitely the top player in the space.

CrowdStrike Falcon's cloud-native architecture gives it an edge in terms of scalability, ease of deployment, and real-time threat intelligence updates. The user interface of Falcon is intuitive and offers clear visibility into our organization's threat landscape. Our team felt more comfortable navigating Falcon's dashboard. CrowdStrike Falcon's API and integration capabilities meant we could easily incorporate it into our existing tech stack, enhancing our other tools. Falcon's seemed more flexible for our specific needs.

When we looked, we narrowed to two choices Sentinel One and CrowdStrike. We chose CrowdStrike due to the use of AI backed up with Human Security experts to investigate detections and issues.

We previously used Carbon Black to protect our endpoints. We were not happy with the results of Carbon Black after a certain security incident happened and how the third-party SOC was managing the monitoring and alerting for our systems. CrowdStrike was selected because we believe they have a better product and higher commitment to success than what we were previously implementing.

I think Carbon black is as good a product as CrowdStrike Falcon. We went with CrowdStrike Falcon because it was cheaper at the time and then stuck with it when Dell bought Carbon Black. I find that the logging and information is much better that Microsoft defender, many of the times we had defender telling us something is wrong but when you try to drill down to see what the problem is you can't there is no information about what causes the problem just that there was a problem.

Since CrowdStrike is a cloud-native platform, it reduces the need to maintain many servers on-premise and worldwide architecture. McAfee uses very high CPU and RAM resources on endpoints and servers.
Identity protection feature is a huge step towards zero trust implementation.

We still utilize Malwarebytes, CrowdStrike has proven to catch more malware than Symantec (although with more false positives). CrowdStrike has not to date caused any issues with applications running on our endpoints and is not even noticed by our end users. Deployment seems to be easier and more efficient than other vendors.

CrowdStrike Falcon provided more capability in a consolidated manner with reduced costing overall. Additionally, they have better presence and support in Australia region for any issues that might arise.

Is better and the ease of use and cost was spot on.

Pricing was less, it had better ratings as well as word of mouth in the market. Works on agent-based solution rather than remote access. Finds zero day attacks very soon recently CrowdStrike found the 3cx attack which is now a critical supply chain attack. CrowdStrike falls under the leader category.

The logs analysis is very easy to use as it uses splunk in the backend. The automated SOAR features helps to save time and response on the incidents. The threat intelligence is very up-to-date with the recent cyber attacks.

CrowdStrike Falcon is a far superior endpoint protection product that requires much less upkeep for similar pricing. There was a lot of extra administrative overhead to write detections and keep endpoints updated compared to CrowdStrike Falcon. I was very surprised to learn that even though CrowdStrike has the superior reputation in the Cybersecurity space, they also were more competitive on the pricing and were backed by a much more engaged account team.
