What is CS-Cart?
CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is an on-premise eCommerce marketplace software. It allows users to open an online marketplace, where the user is the admin, and all the others—invited sellers. Each seller has his or her own micro-store with a customizable storefront, categories, filters, and search. Just like in Amazon.
In the CS-Cart Multi-Vendor marketplace platform, managing vendors is designed to be simple: invite individual sellers, give them access to a marketplace, and they showcase and sell their products in a marketplace platform. The user receives commissions from their sales. They can also offer subscription plans for sellers with different conditions and prices. This marketplace builder also features a payment distribution system that allows for automatic money distribution among vendors and the marketplace admin.
The CS-Cart Multi-Vendor marketplace software boasts over 500 eCommerce features. The vendor says users get a mobile-friendly storefront, powerful SEO, marketing tools, 80 built-in payment and shipping services, and an easy-to-understand admin panel. This solution is an on-premise CMS for the marketplace.

This marketplace software is easy to use their support is great, timely new updates with twigs. Highly recommend for seller with large inventory. With a few add on you can sell almost all products in today's market. The apple and google app performance is great and easy and user friendly. They need to improve a bit on shipping and return interference.

We have been using CS-Cart Multi-Vendor
since the beginning of 2018 with a big vision. This feature-rich most intuitive
e-commerce software is being used for creating a most sophisticated online
marketplace and it helps to make this happen without hiring a developer with
the easy to use and customize functions. This is our core software to manage
products, sellers, inventory and everything to source and sell products online. From setting up a marketplace to
marketing and selling products, all these tasks are being running smoothly
without having major complicacy.

- Frequent update release which keeps store up to date
- Wide range of third-party add-ons are available on their marketplace
- Fast, secure and stable system
- When calculated at the end of the year, it may seem [more] expensive than other platforms in upgrading the software, annual subscriptions, support ticket, third-party add-ons etc. Some essential add-ons are also very expensive which are available in other platforms at low cost or even free.
- Marketplace for third-party add-ons should have a common payment system, organize and monitor them under a strict policy by the authority.

We use CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Marketplace Platform for retailers and as a marketplace platform across our whole organization. Technically speaking, it can be used by almost all levels of people or organizations. I had one problem: in order to use the mobile app (so customers can order from a mobile phone), we need to pay a quite high extra cost.
- The system is very stable.
- It's very user-friendly interface.
- Their technical support is super, quick response and friendly.
- PWA can be improved for more flexibility, it's better free of charge or not too expensive.
- Support ticket price quite expensive for small company.

Control your shopping cart
For ease of use, getting CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Marketplace Platform and installing it was not bad at all. The reason I chose CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Marketplace Platform was for the ability to expand a single shopping cart to another model as we grow. Currently we're using it to sell goods to create earned income for the purpose of investing into custodial IRAs.

Super simple for a multi-vendor marketplace
We are currently a small start-up with big plans, and CS-Cart is making it easy to realise those. We are utilising the multi-vendor functionality to quickly and easily create a marketplace with hundreds of thousands of products spread amongst an equally large number of categories. Though we are launching in a single (English-speaking) country, soon after launch we plan to take advantage of the multi-language capabilities to expand easily to other regions.
Technically it has been very easy to learn, extend, and style, and the marketplace has an amazing selection of both paid and free add-ons that we have also utilised. The page designer is extremely easy to use, and the REST APIs make it very easy to work with data, though I feel like these could be further enhanced for greater flexibility as they are an easy way to work with bulk data. Though the admin interface seems to struggle a little with the large number of categories and products (we haven't looked into any optimisation yet) the caching options on the client-facing side mean that the site will still be extremely fast.
One thing I would like to see added to the core product is the option to store media in a cloud PaaS offering such as AWS S3 bucket or Azure blob storage as we have many hundreds of GB of media, but for now this is a customisation we can look into in the future.

Good software but a little expensive.
We use Multivendor as a marketplace platform for factories to sell directly to consumers. It is our only platform in use.
- It has a pretty comprehensive manual for install and configuration.
- It is supported well by both CS-Cart and the community forums
- It seems to have a decent amount of skins and templates to choose from (both native and aftermarket), although I am yet to use an aftermarket template.
- Multi-Vendor doesn't appear to have a manual that shows Vendors how to use the product. This would be useful for admins to learn the vendor side also. I think it would be handy to have a manual that could be white-labeled by an MV Admin for their vendor customers.
- I would like to see Geolocation added to the experience as a native option whereby the site augments to show the most appropriate pricing currency and shipping options (like a pre-filled address) that are relevant to the particular region that the user is browsing from.
- The bulk product import function is clunky and not user friendly. It is also not clear about loading images and the documentation seems to be slightly dated.
- It isn't obvious how to bulk upload multiple images for a product.

Great Multi-Vendor Software
We use CS-Cart Multi-Vendor as our core software to build a Multi-vendor Marketplace where we have multiple sellers selling to multiple buyers. CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is used to manage all of our products and which Vendor these products are sourced from. CS-Cart Multi-Vendor can also send order notifications to vendors and issue invoices to customers.

Our entire business is built on the CS-Cart Multi-Vendor platform. Until 2020, we were an online store based on Webasyst Shop-script, selling apparels, shoes and accessories. Last year, we've made the decision to expand and become a marketplace. After a long search, we stopped at CS-Cart Multi-Vendor and do not regret it for a minute. The market of our country (Turkmenistan) still does not have a full-fledged convenient marketplace that would provide a small trading business with an additional sales channel. We really hope that CS-Cart Multi-Vendor will help us create such a platform and solve the problems of thousands of entrepreneurs in our country.

CS-Cart is the leader as marketplace software
We use CS-Cart Multi-Vendor as a niche marketplace and all companies can present their products. Companies do not have to worry about marketing, and customers can find all products from different manufacturers in one place. The delivery process and payment is also simplified for the customer and the user interface is clean designed.
