I didn’t select Cvent. It was already in use when I got hired. I haven’t had much experience with it so I can’t compare it to anything. Thus far it’s been good. There are a few things to improve on but I think it’s a great product to help plan and manage events.

Cvent Event Management has been used by my company for years, even before I joined the marketing department. I have heard that there were issues using Hubb Conference Management like with their "intuitive" staff calendars with automatic conflict notifications to avoid double-booking which did not work the way they expected.

Choose Cvent!
Aventri doesn't compare. Aventri only has event management in regards to registration. We had to host our mobile app separately which is not ideal. Aventri was behind the times and was not evolving or adapting as quickly as Cvent. We would highly recommend Cvent to anyone looking for a reputable and top notch platform.
I like how this integrates with the Cvent Registration setup for each event. It allows you to push most of the content from your website, workshop descriptions, speakers bios, schedule, etc over to the app so that you do not have to build these sections of the app, only make slight modifications.

We have not used many other event products. We used Attend and iModules before Cvent and those sites were not nearly as robust, comprehensive, or engaging. There is not another event management platform out there that also gives you interactive floorplans. I wish that was more integrated in Cvent though. I also feel like the CSN is overblown. Many of the hotels and venues on the platform do not use interactive floorplans.

Event management made easy!
The product was not as feature rich as Cvent. We decided to stay with cvent because their product is tested, full of features we like, and constantly upgrading when users make requests.

We will be integrating and looking forward to see how they work together.
I used Attendify for one event at my previous position, and it didn't remotely stack up in features, capabilities, or general aesthetics. Also at that position, I evaluated a few other software platforms, mainly due to the Cvent's pricing; however, I never really considered moving forward simply because our attendee history and analytics were so well tracked in Cvent, it was prohibitive to lose that information and start over.

Great Product!
The support and user experience is much greater with Cvent Event Management. The software is easy to use and the amount of resources available are invaluable. It is never difficult to get an answer to an issue or question!

Overall Cvent Experience
I have not used anything other than Cvent Event Management in the past. Cvent Event Management provides a great way to keep all your event information in one place, and it is always easy to find with the tabs located on the left-hand side. I would recommend Cvent Event Management to anyone looking to keep all event details in one place.

A Feature Rich Event Management Platform
Cvent Event Management is the only product I have ever used for full event management purposes so I don't have much to compare to in that regard. In terms of a web and email content management service, it is fairly user-friendly, if a little limited in its flexibility. I do appreciate that once you've set up a registration site in Cvent Event Management, it is very easy to duplicate and create another, so that you don't have to start from scratch every time.

Review of Cvent Event Management
Cvent is heads and tails better than EventBright. Much more robust and customizable. With Cvent, customers can not only advertise the event, but accept registrations, payments, communicate via email at pre, during, and post event intervals, and pull a variety of pre-designed or customizable reports to share with stakeholders or to see a quick view of what is happening for each event.

Cvent Offers Full Service Meetings Management Tool
Cvent Event Management is a much more robust system than any other current Meetings Management tools. Many systems do a few of the things Cvent does but none have the scope of services Cvent offers.

We trust Cvent Event Management with our events because we know they support us each step of the way
We evaluated ON24, and while their solution had a lot of good features, it did not encompass enough of the features Cvent Event Management offer to make it comparable. Cvent's support is also top in its league. Over the years, I have seen real growth in Cvent Event Management's features. They keep on innovating, and they have great support (I know I said this multiple times, but it is true and so important). Between the community, knowledgebase, training academy, and celebrity program, not to mention a team of people (account manager, customer success specialist, solutions specialists) right there along the way, it is an essential part of why we continue to work with Cvent Event Management.

Powerhouse software
They are all slightly similar, but the other two focus more on how the content is delivered and followed through. The customization capabilities are great in all but Cvent is the least friendly in that sense. Cvent has the biggest number of venues and locations and the information about them is usually super complete and accessible

Complex Solution for Complex Events
Our biggest difficulty at the outset is finding other multilingual platforms. Some claim to be, but are either just Google Translated webpages (which does a poor job and doesn't include images like logos), or require you to build out separate sites, meaning your registration data is being collected in two different places. PheedLoop came closest language wise, but is just still very young and reporting and support services especially are just not there yet.

Great tool to invest in
There are no "one size fits all" event platforms, but Cvent was built for event management overall and accomodates most needs. The budget/spend is just a bit higher than other platforms on the market. It is an investment and long-term tool for organizations to have in their programming plans.

All your event data....in one spot.

Cvent continues to keep robust reporting and provide integrations to additional platforms that can't compare. There are some elements that seem more complicated than necessary, but the overall platform provides so much opportunity for a company to centralize all event data: registration metrics, budget, sourcing, travel and air. Being able to compare event information YOY or to another event is amazing.

A Cvent Event Management convert
Cvent Event Management is a much more complex platform that allows you to do much more. The budgeting feature on Starcite was a bit more simplified, which can be good and bad. Cvent Event Management is the standard for event management, and the support is amazing. They are so helpful and able to assist with any mistakes I make or make the changes I need.

Though it doesn’t have the 3D experience for the attendee, Cvent Event Management still creates an interactive space for attendees that is easy to navigate. I like that Cvent Event Management allows us as planners to have more control over the design, features, settings and basically everything in between! We have also had a lot less registration and log in issues with Cvent Event Management which in turn increases attendees happiness with the overall virtual experience!
