We use Darwinbox for employee record management. Everything from leaves, performance reviews, company policy documents, etc. are handled on this tool. The people team also use Darwinbox to gauge if an employee feels burnt out, if they want to share their grievances with the people team. Tax declarations & pay slips are also managed on it.

Mostly attendance and leave management. Updating attendance and applying/tracking leaves have become a lot simpler.
  • Easy to use and navigate.
  • Simple and intuitive interface.
  • Covers all HR needs in one software.
Cons
  • While the desktop version looks great, the mobile app needs a lot of improvement in terms of speed and UI design.
  • The payroll modules also need some work.

I am able to see all the HR details about my employment through this app:

  • Manage my organization profile.
  • Add my certificates and details.
  • Process my performance evaluation.
  • Apply leaves and fill the timesheet.
  • Search any employee of the organization and find their role, team, hierarchy.
  • View any tax letters, HR letters, etc.

  • The ability to view the organization structure and functional structure for the entire company.

Darwinbox helps us in managing our leaves, info about our work report, our appraisal cycle, information about holidays, and our daily tasks, helps with payroll service, and provides all information at the same place. It even helps to let us know who is on leave in our organisation and also provides training recommendations for us to grow.
  • It is basically alot good for Attendance and leave management
  • Helps in Payroll and salary calculations and appraisals
  • Is alot good for analytics and to know about tasks and whats going in the firm
Cons
  • It can improve its UI a little better and make it look more user friendly
  • It can provide a deep analysis about things and should provide a download feature for the analytics shown
  • It should increase its scalability for large organisation as i think it wont be able to handle it
Darwinbox is overall a good platform for every firm as it provides mostly all the features a firm is looking for, it should just provide some mind-calming activities and shall provide various advanced features to make it more versatile. It should involve itself with automation functionalities. I have never involved myself with integration but I think there are less features for it.

  • It has increase efficiency and helped in saving time
  • It has removed manual errors which could be caused in managing alot of paper works.
  • It has helped with enhancing the employee experience and engagement with the firm.
It overall helps me with applying for holidays and shows how many holidays I have left, whether it's an earned leave or casual leave, and even tells what all are the upcoming holidays. It helps me to read the firm's documentation and helps in writing things for my appraisal cycle, It even tells the performance and the tasks in my queue.
I felt it was very nice in comparison to others and was simple for everyone in the organization to handle and haven't gone through any other software so till now, Darwinbox is the best for us. Others had various good features too but were a little complex to use, Zoho People was our second option.

We solve different problems like we don't need to maintain the records of employees like attendance and employee salary-related data stored on the cloud and it is easy for the managers to maintain and user friendly. We also maintain all the tax and salary related information into the Darwinbox. Darwinbox also helps us for the leave related activity which we can easily sync with the third-party application.

Darwinbox helps us to brings all the organization level activity on one platform which helps the management to take the crucial decisions. Sometimes it hangs and does not function properly due to an internet connectivity issue.
