Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Another protection application using MFA, no different than the rest of the other apps. You download the app and scan the QR code. Once you will try to login to your company account, it sends a trigger to your phone if it is really you. If you say yes, you are able to login. Given almost everyone is working from home, this is an added layer of security even if someone gets access to your password.
  • Instant Trigger
  • iPhone notifications are received. Generally didn't get notifications with Okta/PingID
  • simple registration process
  • Apple watch actionable notifications are really great
  • They should add timeout. After certain time, irrespective user was working on company data or not, it should trigger a notification. Once I login, it's generally the next day, it asks for a trigger
  • From a UI perspective, rather the buttons borders to be red and green, it would be great to see if the background is colored accordingly. In dark mode, the colors are pretty dull.
Frankly, it is suited both when someone is working from home or in office. There can be kids who would fiddle with the machine or in office, someone might do it knowingly or unknowingly. This added layer ensures that the user is a tad bit safer. The only problem is that, once you login, you don't get triggers for an entire day. I wish if they add a trigger after every hour or two. I know it would be annoying but at least my identity is secure.
  • serves in identifying who is using the device
  • helps secure the data
  • Apps like these are there to protect the data of the organization. From that standpoint, this serves its purpose well.

I use Defender to access my client's environment, using two-factor authentication, to help support my software. Once connected, I am able to access the server as if I was in the customer's office.
  • Fast to connect
  • Easy to use
  • Doesn't slow down my computer
  • Remove the need to enter Windows password
  • Sensitive to interruptions in internet connectivity
Defender is appropriate for access a company's environment when not on site. It may not be appropriate for users that are only working on site.
  • Defender allows me to connect to the clients environment
  • Without Defender I would not be able to support my client
Bomgar is much easier to set up & there is only one step when connecting while Defender takes a few steps.
