On my account we have used it only in one region for specific site. There was a specific contract between Dell and the client. Decision was made with this type due to VMAX NDM feature as many data had to be migrated. It works well for UNIX VMs under vSphere environment.

This is used as one of our main storage arrays. It works fairly well for virtual servers and attaching new volumes. This is great because it is fully redundant and can stay up during updates with little to no issues since it has so many controllers. It addresses the snapshot stun issues that our SC9 compellant was having with our database servers.
