We use Demandforce for appointment management and electronic patient communication. It is used throughout our entire organization, from our front desk staff to our marketing staff. We use it to securely send automatic appointment reminders, newsletters and text messages to our patients.

Demandforce is used to confirm upcoming appointments; allow patients to request appointments online; allow patients to write reviews about their experience during their appointment, and send email reminders to patients who haven't had an exam in over a year, etc. Demandforce is used by the patient relations team who schedule appointments.
  • Aesthetics has been updated in last few months for organization and is easier to see: colors, grid lines on front page, and font style.
  • Allowing our office to include specific items in reminder appointment emails allows personalization to make confirming appointments easier.
  • Allowing patients to write reviews allows us to know what the office is doing well and what we can improve on.
Cons
  • More communication when updates are made to website and what changes have been made and why.
  • More personalization to cater to the needs of a business.
  • Reviews [should] be posted on business website or connect to Yelp account.

  • Patients requesting an exam confuses them that they are actually scheduled for an exam (Negative)

  • Patients confirming appointments after being sent an email reminder by Demandforce is difficult to track when we receive the confirmation as an email because sometimes the email address is completely different from the patient's first and last time and thus requires more time and energy to look up who confirmed the appointment (Negative)

This office has used Demandforce for more than 3 years and the switch to another product would require time and money, however I personally think 4PatientCare has more options and personalization to increase efficiency and revenue for the office.

We use Demandforce to confirm appointments and encourage reviews of our Salon and Spa. It helps us to maintain quality of our services and customer service experience and has played a key role in keeping us among the top for positive reviews in our industry and our area. Additionally, it has vastly improved our client appointment retention and organization.

  • Flexibility in Design!
  • Overall Look & Feel of Templates (look at what Squarespace is doing, it is possible!)
  • Usability (it's a bit clunky)
It's not something we use for online booking. If Demandforce were to improve the software, we might consider moving from Mindbody Online - it sure would be nice to have everything in one platform.
  • Increased employee efficiency (fewer calls to the front desk!)
  • Better Customer Service (easier appointment confirmation and reminders)
  • NEW Customers (All kinds of positive reviews pushed to the web)
We have evaluated other products but none have had the reviews capability that Demandforce does.

We use it as a service for our small business clients. We primarily use the text reminder service and product marketing.
  • Allows for non-human interface input and works with about any company software.
  • Gives you a read on your business immediately
  • Communicates well with your customers
Cons
  • I would like to see music with a text reminder
Healthcare or anything with an appointments at retail and retail services. Beauty, Hair and Nail Care is another great example of who should use this service. Also services such as a spa, salon or health club/fitness.
  • Yes, my clients love it!
  • Less Labor at the front desk and no calling!
  • They can emphasize certain products or services they want to grow
