Dialpad Talk has been particularly useful for users in remote, rural areas, offering features like text messaging, voice-to-text voicemail, contact import, and multiple phone numbers. Many users highly recommend Dialpad Talk, especially for those who require a separate phone line for remote work, making it invaluable for hybrid work arrangements. Customer service teams rely on Dialpad Talk to keep in touch with customers, providing support through inbound and outbound calls. The visual voicemail feature helps manage calls from different metropolitan areas, allowing users to screen and determine the appropriate recipient. It is widely used in virtual schools for communication with parents and students, offering a well-designed application with useful features like notifications and autoreply. Sales organizations heavily rely on Dialpad Talk for their daily phone communication needs, with seamless integration with Google Workspace and Salesforce. The software has become instrumental in improving communication and collaboration within organizations by allowing for effective customer service and easy communication between teams.

Users are impressed with its reliability, ease of use, and ability to respond to techs in the field through text messages. The software has exceeded expectations in terms of its features, seamless user experience, cloud service, and AI technology for call tracking and keyword searching. It is highly regarded for its ease of use, beginner-friendly interface, and compatibility with various devices and services. Dialpad Talk is used in diverse industries, including law firms, insurance companies, and sales teams, to manage phone systems, track billable hours, and provide top-notch customer service. Auto Populating Caller ID: The ability of Dialpad Talk to auto populate caller ID has been mentioned positively by a number of users. This feature saves time for users as they don't have to manually input caller information, making their communication more efficient.

Confusing User Interface: Many users have found the user interface of the app to be confusing and difficult to navigate, especially during setup. They have expressed frustration with issues such as content not being brought in from iPhone users and a fixed online help chat dialogue/text box that covers important functions during configuration.

Clunky Call Drops and Connectivity Issues: Some users have experienced occasional clunky call drops and difficulty in connecting when not dialing out normally. They have complained about frequent updates that require tech support assistance and mentioned the lack of admin privileges as a drawback.

Unsatisfactory Support Experience: Users have expressed frustration with the support provided by the app, stating that it is not helpful. The software's analytic features are also praised, with users recommending exploring them. Users find the software easy to integrate with other systems and suggest opting for the version with integrations. However, some users have found the software to be unreliable in its current state.

Many reviewers recommend the software for companies that receive a lot of inbound calls, considering it a great investment. They advise taking overall strategy into account before using the software and suggest it especially if primarily using a cellphone for business calls. The iPhone app is acknowledged as fantastic, but a good internet connection is recommended for calls. The software is seen as a great solution for separating personal and business life, urging users to give it a try.

The software is perceived to have a user-friendly interface and many capabilities, but some users recommend considering other options before deciding on it. While overall feedback is positive, occasional issues have been mentioned. The VoiceAI feature is highly recommended, particularly for text messaging and VoIP calls. Employers are encouraged to use the software for easy communication with employees nationwide, but avoiding predatory companies is suggested.

In summary, users commonly recommend trying the software due to its user-friendly nature and scalability for small businesses. The analytic features and integrations are praised, along with the ability to separate personal and business communications. However, potential reliability issues and alternative options should be considered before fully committing to the software.

My company is using Dialpad Ai mainly to consolidate the multiple telcom carriers we have throughout the many locations we have across many states. We also wanted to take advantage of the more modern features and reporting capabilities.
  • Call routing
  • Analytics
  • Collaborative Communications
  • Administration
  • Visibility into the device type and MAC address for each line/user
I am able to consolidate all of the various telcom providers into one platform and heavily reduce the monthly costs by more than $2K. We are now able to take full advantage of collaborative methods, such as site to site calling without the extra long distance and international fees. Also, we now are using a full calling tree for external callers to take advantage of to get to the right people quicker. The best scenario for us is the ability for employees to use soft phones on the computers and also use Dialpad on their mobile devices, diminishing the need for company provided cell phones.

We use Dialpad Talk as our main phone line for our company, as well as for a direct line between coworkers. Not only is it incredibly useful to have our phone lines on our computers, meaning that we can transport direct lines between offices, homes, and vacations, but it is also useful in being able to contact therapists directly during sessions in a discreet way that does not interrupt client sessions. It is also useful to have a "paper trail" of calls, as it makes retrieval of past calls easier than traditional call logs. Dialpad Talk has prevented lost information many times for our company and has helped us improve our client care!
  • Direct text messaging between users
  • Text-format voicemails to offer a preview of what the call contains
  • Ease of contact storing
  • Easy recall of past, unsaved numbers
  • Text-format voicemails (which I believe are still in beta mode) sometimes are not clear and result in muddy reliance on what has been said in the voicemail
  • I genuinely have no other recommendations or complaints
Dialpad Talk provides an opportunity for ease of linking between coworkers, with a discreet messaging system and options for users to belong to multiple phone numbers. It is also very customizable, allowing for different working hours each day, as well as offering a do not disturb button that can be triggered independently by the user.

Dialpad Ai Voice is used for communications with customers, which may include text messaging, call tracking, and voice mail storage and review for confirmation of conversational agreements and confirmation of service parameters, contract agreements and need ideas. Other functions of Dialpad Ai Voice have not yet been utilized, but will be in the near future.
  • Conversation recording
  • Voice mail recording
  • Messageing
  • Call answer delays
  • Call connection to cellular devices
Dialpad Ai Voice met all the requirements for the services I needed at that time of purchase, as well as room to expand on the services I feel are needed in the future. For the cost, I feel that Dialpad Ai Voice is the best value in digital AI based voice services that I could find.

Dialpad Ai Voice is used to quickly consider how a call went and what was talked about. It can be used to review not only call content but also used to judge sentiment. Sometimes, Dialpad Ai Voice can misread the a word on the call, but most times it gets the right wording. This is especially helpful for debriefing a call or documenting what a customer said.
  • provide call transcripts
  • provide call sentiment
  • offer material for training purposes
  • more exact documentation of what is said
  • visual representations of data
  • AI prompted responses that offer insight into data or longer trends
Great for kick-off calls, training calls, and more. Maybe not so great for 1:1 calls where you can cover a vast stretch of topics and don't need to see breakdown of everything.

We use Dialpad Talk for a portion of our organization, specifically our Marketing, Communications, and Operations teams. Our Sales and Customer Development teams use Dialpad Sell.
  • Reduces SPAM calling and caller ID
  • Amazing analytics dashboard
  • User friendly website and administrative navigation
  • Ease of use of entire platform
  • Allow admin users to implement retention policies by line
Our previous phone system provider had a difficult and clunky website to navigate making it difficult to troubleshoot issues. Dialpad's platform is easy to navigate and very user friendly, so troubleshooting takes minimal time to complete. The Dialpad help center knowledge base is very comprehensive and allows for individuals to self-help and troubleshoot on their own.

Connecting our sales teams with customers with a simple-to-use single pane of glass across multiple communication platforms.
  • Simplifies customer communication
  • Unifies three traditional services into one
  • AI empowered transcription and analytics
  • Automated QA and CSAT
  • Integration of Digital engagement (web and social media)
  • Pricing is complicated and piecemeal.
  • Limitations in admin UI
For a small company Dialpad brings a lot of power to bear for a reasonable price. For larger Enterprise services they have some growing to do.

Our main communication platform for voice, meetings, and call center is Dialpad Ai Voice. Previously, we used a combination of various applications that relied on each other. Since transitioning to Dialpad Ai Voice, we have benefited from having a single, dependable, user-friendly platform that is easy to oversee. As a result, staff morale has improved, and customer satisfaction has increased.
  • We are highly satisfied with the user-friendliness of Dialpad Ai Voice. Although we dedicated additional time to train and granted early access to allow ample time for acquainting with the system, the majority of users were able to start using it without much guidance.
  • The implementation and support teams have been exceptional. They've promptly provided answers and helped to troubleshoot issues.
  • One comprehensive platform for all needs - voice, meeting and call center - has really streamlined training and helped with adoption.
  • Users are unable to adjust colors of status indicators. For example, if an employee sets a custom status for Lunch or Out of Office, the indicator remains green like they're still available.
  • Backgrounds for non-video meetings are controlled by Dialpad Ai Voice, so you can't remove or set backgrounds for users.
  • While we can add custom on-hold music, we can't remove audio options that are provided out-of-the-box.
I honestly can't imagine a business vertical where Dialpad Ai Voice wouldn't be well suited. The Dialpad Ai Voice platform is extremely flexible and easy to manage.

Dialpad I have been using for last two years and find it very convenient to make calls. It is as similar as like a cellular phone and it's user interface is really convenient to handle. The Dialpad app can be installed in your laptop, mobile and it's easier to use from anywhere. Best part I like, all voice mails comes to the inbox with audio recording and in test format as well. Conference calls can be easily done without any lag.
  • It can be used to have any international calls
  • Conferenece calls
  • Messaging
  • Voice quality
The Dailpad has been very useful for making international calls and it is very similar to make call from your Mobile. I have to call and discuss with Vendors and representatives across different countries and It is very convenient to make call through dailpad. Many issues gets resolved, when we directly call to the person on other side and explain to them over phone.

We work from abroad, so we use dialpad to work on the US market. It's really convenient because you can have a number in any area of US. The quality of calls is amazing, you can record the calls. AI transcript and other facilities. Also, it can be used on the PC and phone easily.
  • Easy to understand interface
  • Call recording
  • No bugs
  • 100% AI transcript understanding
  • Dark mode
I'm pleased with Dialpad AI. I don't like that calls come with a delay on the phone. So I can only receive the notification after the caller hung up the phone. So I have to call them back. Wifi or 4G is on all the times.

We migrated from an on-prem Mitel system, using multiple voice service providers in the U.S. and Mexico, to Dialpad. This assisted us in reducing costs and complexity. During our migration, the Dialpad team was very responsive and the overall transition could not have been smoother.

Some of the key benefits we gained by moving to Dialpad were:
  • Getting rid of a problematic service provider (Windstream) along with others who required additional SIP/PRI connections to our facilities.
  • Removing voice server equipment and maintenance.
  • Improved call center capabilities that integrate with Salesforce.
  • Dialpad is cloud based so users can work remotely if needed.
  • Multiple platform support, several users work from their computer or mobile phone, few have physical phones.
  • Easy to manage and control, with the ability to setup office based admins.
  • Call recording, transcription in real time and AI capabilities
While we are still new to Dialpad, I have received numerous comments from the employees stating how much they love the new system!
  • Call Transcription
  • Can use for notes after the call
  • Recognizing and erasing when credit card information is given. We have trained our customer service team to disable AI while taking that information.
A part of our business deals directly with end consumers, so having the transcription capability is extremely useful when reviewing calls for support.

This has replaced any physical phones in the office and easily forwards my business line calls to my cell phone. The phone app is excellent. I especially appreciate the transcripts of the phone messages. Plus, I can answer and talk on a call on my computer, I don't even need my cell with me in the office.
  • Transcripts of calls
  • Great app for mobile phone
  • Very easy to use interface
  • improve start-up screen
Very easy to use, I would recommend this to all my colleagues, the pricing is very competitive with other similar services

I really like Dialpad. It's very easy to use. The one thing I can say is an issue is the Voicemail function or what it writes is not always correct and may need some work but other than that it is great to have a phone system that is easy to use
  • easy to transfer
  • has great hold music
  • as you talk it is writing what you say to have it in transcript form
  • unanswered Voicemail transcript is not correct
  • when on call it writes incorrect words
  • Needs to have a louder ring or sound to let you know a call is coming in- for those that don't wear headsets all day
Easy to use and maneuver around the system
written transcripts need some adjusting on writing what is actually being said as well as for the voicemails
Great hold music options

We have three lines with Dialpad. I have the app on my phone and on my computer. We don't have to have separate phones because it works with our current devices. I can also seamlessly switch calls between my cell and computer if I answer it away from my desk. It also keeps track of all the different people and companies I have to contact on a regular basis.
  • Clear audio
  • Records voicemails
  • Text capabilities
  • Multi line phone system without equipment
  • Voicemail transcripts could do with improvement
  • Sometimes the line does not ring when it should
  • Calls from my cell phone stop the audio while it rings
When it's not a big deal to miss a call, it's great. If you need to reliably catch every call, you may need to do some trouble-shooting. When using the app on your cell phone, other calls are invasive even if you do not answer them because the audio from the call you are on cuts out automatically. This can be a problem when you've waited on hold forever and when you finally get an answer, they think are you aren't there because you got a call at the wrong moment.

I use Dialpad to communicate with my peers. The business problem Dialpad addresses are to provide a worldwide stable communications platform for an enterprise company. I can easily talk with anyone within the organization because of Dialpad. Dialpad also organizes my contact list, integrating with the active directory service making it easy to lookup employee phone numbers.
  • Make phone calls
  • Text messages
  • Voice Messaging
  • video meetings
  • I'd like to see the ability to text bigger file sizes.
  • Some of the STT is not 100% accurate.
  • Recording calls is a feature I want
Dialpad Talk is the best. I have it installed on two laptops and two cell phones. One phone number (Dialpad assigned from admin) will ring all my devices. I use it to communicate with external contacts as well. If I need to make a business call, I will use Dialpad no matter who I'm calling to make sure the conversation is clear. Sometimes my cell phone doesn't have good reception.

Dialpad fits our company perfectly. We are not willing to go "cell phone only" for our employees and want each of our employees to have their own assigned phone number. Some employees want a desk phone and some want an app on their computers. Everyone wants an app on their phone and the ability to switch between them. Dialpad does all that for us and works very well.
  • Make calls on multiple devices
  • Receive calls on multiple devices
  • Texts from your office phone
  • More integrations into Google G Suite
Dialpad is well suited for a company that wants its employees to have a traditional "office phone number" but still be able to make a receive calls from anywhere using their mobile phones or laptops. It also allows user to choose whether or not they want a desk phone. And it is all cloud based with no need for any server hardware onsite.

Dialpad is our companies main switchboard. We have employees living and working in different states and time zones. The ability to seamlessly direct and redirect calls and messages to employees regardless of their location is invaluable. With each employee having what is basically their own phone line, they can set their own hours, and forward and initiate calls from their cell phones, via the app. The messaging and voicemail works wonderfully. Email alerts of missed calls and voicemail, means that you never really miss a call. The voice recognition for transcripts is very accurate, and fast. We are sent notice of available transcripts moments after calls end. The user interface is clean and intuitive. There are many settings and controls, allowing management to assign appropriate levels of access based on employee roles.
  • Ease of use
  • clear and reliable
  • lots of options
  • intuitive
  • accurate transcription
  • being able to record a call on the fly
  • screen share
  • Not all calls forwarded to cell phone show calls are from Dialpad
  • Still can't remove the requirement to press one to take the call
  • ability to delete voicemails
We have held meetings where each person was working in a different state and timezone, one person was driving, and one home, and we were all able to interact well and share information, via screen share, and then followed up with a transcript to serve as meeting minutes. Participants were even able to chat between themselves during the call. This meant no one had to miss the meeting and all relevant input was available.

Our Support team works remote from home so we needed a phone system which was easy to use, reliable and could expand with international texting and calling capabilities at a reasonable cost. The set up and administration is easy to learn and use. The voice transcription is fairly good but of course having the actual audio message is very helpful. We are able to quickly reach consumers with exception order or tech support issues. They enjoy being able to SMS us (versus email) as the resolution can move quickly. We have just begun adding international support for phone and text so we look forward to seeing how that performs. The team uses their computers as there is no need for mobile app use.
  • Reliable, clear audio
  • Ease of adding teammates to calls
  • Texting, SMS and related customer history
  • CRM integration
  • Easy administration
  • Customer Support is difficult to get a hold of
  • Adding International call/Texting had some challenges
  • More FAQs and how to videos would be helpful
Probably better suited for small business and call center needs. I can't imagine using Dialpad with large teams as the Support of the application is not satisfactory and the integration appears to be limited.

Virtual Learning requires a reliable communication tool with text and screen-share capabilities, while still protecting the privacy of both students and teachers. Dialpad has afforded me these options and maintains detailed contact logs for each individual student, which saves me a tremendous amount of documentation time.
  • It provides transcripts of voicemail messages within minutes, so even when I'm in a meeting I get the gist of missed calls.
  • It provides detailed communication metrics: call attempts, time stamps, text frequency, etc.
  • I'm able to send/receive photos, small video files, and diagrams to students (and parents), while they're working in a corresponding segment.
  • A better "group text" option would be helpful. I'd like the option to send mass (general) text announcements to which students could not reply.
  • Sometimes the phone call doesn't connect or the call gets dropped temporarily. It would be helpful if DP would reconnect automatically.
  • Perhaps DP could offer a designated phone number title so our calls don't register as "spam" on most initial parent contacts.
Our school district does not permit the text-transcribing option, however the documentation capabilities of DP are (thus far) unmatched. I can quickly monitor call data, text metrics, and/or pull up specific contact logs instantly. In the Education space, parent/student communication is a daily requirement, the documentation of which can be extremely time consuming. This program has providing concrete records of contact which saves a tremendous amount of time.

No more physical phone to deal with! Abundant amount of features available from the app and not to mention how easy it is to use.
  • Filtering spam calls
  • Easy to sync your colleagues contact info

  • Call quality/connection can be improved
Believe it is well suited for an office environment. Since you can get away with physical phones it mean less clutter on employee's desk. Also the app offers many features that will come in handy day in and day out.

At Tarkenton Financial, we use Dialpad as our complete phone system for both internal and external calling and communications. In addition to using the desktop and mobile apps, we also use physical desk phones which are integrated with Dialpad. Dialpad addressed the problem we had with our old phone system of being able to call and access calls and messages on our work line from anywhere, not just sitting at our desks.
  • Chat functionality
  • App is easy to use
  • Easy to switch between devices
  • Chat feature works well but could be more robust in comparison to a tool like Slack, which we also use
  • Does not seem to work very well with Apple CarPlay at times
  • Allow users to edit their voicemail message from the app
I think Dialpad is well suited for sales organizations where many employees work remotely or are out in the field regularly. Dialpad app on your smartphone allows you to be 'in the office' literally anywhere, without having to give out your personal cell phone number to clients or customers. I think that's a big plus. I also like that you can text message from your work number as if it is a cell phone number, again without having to use your personal number.

It is the fastest and easiest way to achieve my work, the platform is easy to use and it also has tools that help develop my work. At present, communication even at a distance is very simple, but the truth is that the means we use for this are not of quality, and we feel subject to something that we simply need even though it does not work well. Dialpad Talk, however, is an enhanced platform with technology that makes communication with another person simple and fast. So far one of the best platforms I've had the opportunity to work with.
