Domo has become an integral part of organizations, serving as a platform to standardize data consumption and reporting. Users from various departments rely on Domo to visualize information from multiple sources such as Google Analytics, website traffic, product stats, and personal/group trackers. With Domo, regional directors, board of directors, brand leaders, and C-level executives have found a trusted reporting source that addresses the need for consolidated reporting on core KPIs and provides a quick tool for data extraction and analysis. This software has proven to be invaluable in centralizing data visibility and collaboration across departments, allowing users to connect and correlate data from different platforms for historical data analysis and visualization. Whether it is finance, HR, sales, engineering, product development, marketing, or client services departments, Domo is used to report key project indicators and metrics. The software's ability to combine internal and external data provides a holistic view of the organization's performance and leverages data resources effectively. Domo's features have automated reporting processes while reducing reliance on IT resources. It has also provided valuable insights into previously unexplored areas of the business. By aggregating data from various sources, Domo assists customer success teams in understanding customer behavior and performance. In addition, its intuitive user interface makes it an excellent tool for executive reporting by all departments within an organization.

Some reviewers have stated that Domo allows them to generate easy-to-read reports and share them with a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to export data in multiple formats is also appreciated by users, as it enables them to customize the information they need for different applications or uses.

User-Friendly Interface: The user interface of Domo is easy to understand and navigate, making it user-friendly. Many users have mentioned that they appreciate the seamless connectivity with other software and data sources, which enables efficient communication among users and spreads information to different teams. Additionally, the capability of connecting multiple platforms makes it easier for users to access and aggregate information from various sources.

Powerful Data Visualization: Domo offers a powerful report generator that automatically creates charts using different metrics, making it a top-notch tool for data visualization. Several reviewers have expressed their satisfaction with the flexibility of Domo, as it allows them to build once, modify, reuse, and avoid repetitive tasks. Furthermore, the centralized platform provided by Domo where all data is stored has been praised by users for giving them access to all their data in one place.

Difficulties in Dataset Management: Some users found it hard to get a visual idea of where their datasets were linked to and felt that it would be helpful to see the schema like in other software such as Sisense or Salesforce. Renaming a field in a dataset caused issues and broke everything that was built. Users desired better tables and pivot tables with basic Excel functionality.

High Cost: The price was considered fairly high for small businesses. Some users mentioned that Domo is expensive and expressed dissatisfaction with the cost of the software.

Steep Learning Curve: The software has a steep learning curve, causing some users to give up and not use it. Users mentioned limitations due to lack of technical know-how, difficulties in navigating through the platform if they do not use it daily, and the need for more comprehensive training.

Users highly recommend integrating Domo with other tools for enhanced functionality and to meet specific business intelligence needs. They suggest exploring other options if Domo does not fulfill these requirements. Users also advise taking ample time for implementation and providing training for new users to become familiar with navigating Domo effectively.

Domo is praised for its ability to make data visually appealing and easy to understand. Users recommend investing time in learning the software as it simplifies live data collection and management, aiding in decision-making. They also advise checking if Domo supports the required type of business intelligence and upcoming upgrades.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Most features are very easy to use even for someone without previous experience with data analytics/visualisation software. Obviously there are a few features that require more expertise (such as using beast mode), but Domo has an amazing platform where one can acquire this knowledge.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing it is to be able to use a data product on day one, without a steep learning curve. The perceived difficulty of creating reports and visualizing data had held us back from really diving in. Once we (as a team) realized how easy Domo is to use, there was nothing to stop us anymore.

Very easy to use. I do have trouble navigating Domo university but the program itself is very easy to navigate. I am still learning the full functionality but we have already implemented Domo into our business practices. We use the cards to take snapshot of all our data sets. Very good.

This is strictly from an end user. I have heard that Domo can be a bit tricky to configure and get the data to pull correctly. However, once it's setup and build, the experience is fantastic and easy to use.

From a user perspective, it has been fantastic for keeping teams aligned on how campaigns are performing, what deals are closing, and which product features are being used. It's been extremely helpful to have reports that pull from several different data sources. The filters and option to export also makes it easy to use and repurpose the data as needed.

Overall, Domo is a fantastic platform that centralizes all data and is very user-friendly. I highly recommend it for larger companies who utilize various data/reporting systems (keep in mind that it is costly). It is an overall great solution and a more efficient way to pull analytics and insights.

Domo is mostly easy to use though maneuvering through its data warehouse is not as convenient as one would expect. They lack a good search facility and data cataloging features. Other fronts where it needs some improvement in the creation of dashboards. The options provided to develop a dashboard are very limited, particularly when you compare it with well-established products like Tableau.

Easy to learn how to use and maneuver around inside of Domo and it does have some very useful features. Along with an easy to learn platform, it has a great community that has asked and answered almost every question that you can think of to help when you get stuck.

I have worked with a ton of technologies and Domo has been by far the easiest to use and fastest to get value from. It is not perfect but it literally gets better by the day. They are constantly working to improve the product and work with us as a partner, not as a vendor.

It is very usable, for many different roles. Our executive team, to sales reps out in the field, to devs in house, to product performance metrics - the product is being used everywhere. There isn't a role that couldn't benefit in some way from having Domo as part of their day to day operations and reporting.

This one is tough. For seasoned BI professionals, it is very easy to use the product. However, Domo seems to pitch their product to non-technical users, and I feel like the platform may be too advanced for that type of user; it's hard to be everything to everyone.

Domo does what says it can: aggregate data and it has a built-in chat feature so users can discuss it. The platform is optimized for the report user's experience but has room to improve how the report builder accomplishes their task. It's definitely better than nothing and flying blind, but I can't give it a glowing recommendation because it's not the easiest tool to build reports with.

I mainly give it this rating because of the APP and its functionality. I love the fact that Domo went to a single sign-on system, which allows for more accessibility across multiple platforms (ipad, iphone,etc..). When the App drills down it does not get "lost" in its own pages and goes back and forth from page to page with ease.

With both IOS/Android app and drill down feature, you do not need a tutorial for Domo. It's super easy to use, share and even download and store visualizations if needed. Since using Domo, we have rarely used Powerpoint presentations for business reviews as there are limited needs to make one.

I am on the fence here, as it is nearly a 9. Simply giving a product such as this high marks across the board would leave little room for improvement, and we all have room for improvement. In some respects, Domo can be somewhat overwhelming with the scope & magnitude things that it can do. While it can be set up to be used right out of the box, I believe its full functionality will come with continuous use & refinements done by the end-user to improve usability.
