Druva deliveres protected data - really!
Druva allows us to meet legal requirements for data protection in the EU and is part of our GDPR process. In addition, having Druva available allows us to satisfy legal discovery without removing laptops from the field and impacting customer deliverables and utilization.

Druva is the Enterprise Backup Tool Your Company Needs For Complete Disaster Recovery and Hardware Migration
We did experience a ransomware attack on a client machine and of course we weren't about to pay the required ransom, with Druva we just reimaged the machine and restored their data back to the machine like nothing ever happened, user and system preferences included, such as mapped drives, printers, desktop wallpaper and all other customization the user decided to make on their machine. It's like nothing ever happened when it comes to rebuilds, our users love the rebuild process since we moved to Druva.

Shame we have to stop using Druva InSync
We don't use InSync for these functions
Similar to any good backup solution Druva does offer us protection from Ransomware. We have only had one occurrence of Ransomware from a user bring a personal device and it did impact company data. A complete wipe of the impacted data and restore of the user data from backup was the perfect solution.

Druva the cloud is NOT the future!
I was aware of this but knock on wood haven't had the need to use this yet , however do check the make sure the tool is working on a regular basis. i have full confidence that when i need this function it will work as described so it does give me a huge sense of relief to know it's there.

Druva - Solid reliable backups at a reasonable price
The user preservation is really handy since Druva gives you a pool of 50GB/user, which most use about 10-25GB to capture their user profiles. If there's an offboarding, we hold the backup in the cloud and download a redundant copy into our internal servers. We have used it once or twice to look for a specific file a former employee had for a customer.

Druva inSync as a Laptop backup solution
We use McAfee DXL/TIE and ENS10 and we haven't the need to use also Druva InSync to manage these kind of activities.
