What is Druva Data Resiliency Cloud?

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

Workforce mobility and the rise of cloud services is an essential part of any business, but it creates a number of challenges for IT. Data spread across devices and cloud services, unpredictable schedules, and varied network connections all complicate efforts to protect and govern enterprise information.

The Druva Cloud Platform (formerly Druva inSync & Druva Phoenix) provides unified data protection, management, and information governance across endpoints and cloud applications. Delivered as-a-service, the Druva Cloud Platform aims to simplify backup, archival, compliance, and device management to reduce the cost and complexity of protecting end user data, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve data visibility. With centralized management and self-help data recovery, the vendor states that users' mobile workforces are protected without impacting productivity.

Druva's value proposition:

No hardware, no software

  • Delivered as-a-service means leaving behind on-premises infrastructure, hardware refresh cycles and time consuming software maintenance.

Infinitely scalable
  • Built in the cloud, new capacity can be added to subscriptions on the fly without changes to backup settings, and without needing to purchase and install new appliances or software.

No maintenance windows

  • Druva maintains the data protection solution, not the customer; the platform is always up-to-date with the latest features.

Data Protection That’s Different

  • Druva’s SaaS data protection platform boasts less cost and complexity found in solutions that aren’t built for the cloud, while remaining secure, scalable and always available.

We use Druva to backup our Endpoints( Macbooks and Windows PCs), Salesforce regular and Seeding users and along with the M365 environment; including SharePoint, OneDrive, Excahnge and Teams.

Druva is pretty effective in backing up these variety of workloads that we keep adding. The backups are smooth, the restores are quick and the Druva client runs seamlessly on our devices. SaaS apps are also easily backup up by generating the token and the policies are easily modifiable.

We do use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud both for our Endpoints( both iOS and Android + PC) and O365( SharePoint, Exchange and OneDrive). It handles all of these systems nicely and we haven't faced too many issues.

The O365 users are easily pulled from the AD and the profile settings are easily configured. The Endpoint settings also provide the option to assign specific bandwidth and CPU resources to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud, which is a nice touch.

We currently protect the Office 365 suite with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud (Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive). Druva Data Resiliency Cloud has seamlessly protected all of these workloads without any noticeable issues, we just generate the token and the users are imported without any bottlenecks. Even with the heavy Teams recording-related data; we don't see any major backup failures. So we're really happy with this.

We are currently using Druva to backup M365, Devices ( EP ) and Salesforce. The deployment for M365 was smooth as we configured it through Azure AD. EP deployment took longer as we needed our end users to come to the office and the covid period stopped that. However, post that we had a CxO losing his laptop and it was handled efficiently by the Druva Team. The CSM who is our SPOC has been a breeze

Salesforce protection is the best out there in my opinion. The restoration process integrated and easy to use. M365 is now becoming so important and Druva has been the lead for this. The ability to restore on such a granular level in Sharepoint in particular is far ahead of others approaches to data protection for M365

We have clients protecting Salesforce, Office 365, Exchange, Teams. Their feedback has always been very positive about Druva, how it works, the simplicity and availability of the software. Salesforce restores that you can do from the Druva portal are limited only to download of data. If you want more restore options it has to be done from your SalesForce application

Druva Cloud backs up our M365 user data (ExO, OneDrive). It was extremely quick and easy to add to our existing inSync/Endpoint backups, requiring just licensing and a couple of short meetings with our dedicated account engineer. Since it ties in at the M365 tenant level, there is no impact or visibility to users, and no per-user or per-device configuration to perform.

We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for Exchange Online, Sharepoint and OneDrive. It was easy to implement, and the GUI offers easy and flexible options to filter and sort by user mailboxes, storage space consumption and license type. It also provides free Shared resources for backing up shared mailboxes, MS Teams is also available which is helpful.

Mix of physical and virtual servers (both VMWare and Hyper-V). Google suite (mailboxes and drive backups). End point protection. Does all of them very well. In particular users can now recovery their own files on the endpoint without requesting admin assistance.

We use Druva to protect the Google Workspace environment for our Gmail, GDrive and Shared drives.
Druva manages this workload efficiently and the Customer Success team performs regular technical health checks to let us know new functionalities, best-practices and the upcoming features of the platform. Everything has been perfect so far.

We use Druva for all the flavors of O365 such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, MS Teams and OneDrive.
We can easily create the backup policies for all these components seamlessly and Druva provides excellent visibility on the GUI regarding the success and failures of different backups.
It even supports public folders.

We protect our entire Office suite with Druva- including Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Teams and OneDrive. The deployment happened quite smoothly, and we didn't face any issues at all- the Support made sure we were up and running quickly.
In years of usage we haven't faced any issues on any live restores, they happen quickly and efficiently.
