As a regional publisher of local news, I find Echobox to be very useful for delivering our content on the right social platforms at the right times for optimal audience engagement. They are helpful, and do a great job of staying on top of the algorithms that drive engagement on the various social platforms.

We promote our stories through social media in a variety of venues, most prominently Facebook and Twitter. The two together generate a fair amount of our readers, but our numbers were stagnating until we started using Echobox. We had been using Hootsuite, which was okay. After a lot of research, we decided to partner with Echobox to coordinate organizing and sending out Tweets and post stories on Facebook. Echobox has been far more efficient. It has a very intuitive interface. It’s very easily programmable. Also, they use AI to figure the best times to post our social media. It can also be set up to pick and choose the best stories to promote based on AI. You can pre-program Echobox to promote the most popular articles on weekends to fill in as we don’t publish new stories on the weekend. Echobox can also promote older stories if they suddenly take wing because of news developments. Echobox also can be used for LinkedIn, newsletters, and other communication tools.

Frankly, it's been a boon for us. It's helped us streamline our social media on Facebook and Twitter. I assume it would offer the same great functionality for LinkedIn and Instagram, but our budget constrains us. We have not found any particular areas in which Echobox falls short of four expectations.

Echobox helps ensure that our social media posts are scheduled timeously and accordingly. With that, the feature to choose for the social media posts to publish automatically at peak times has been an amazing tool that has allowed us to create online content without worrying about scheduling. It is a major convenience.

With the constant changes to each platform's algorithm, it is very hard to understand what is the best time to post something and Echobox saves us the time and hassle by doing that for us.

We use Echobox in our team to post the different articles that we have to publish. To post the articles we use it both in a manual way and with auto-feed. Autofeed is a real help when having to multitask and is definitely a tool on which we can rely when there are fewer staff members or a heavy workload. Thanks to the metrics we can pull from Echobox we can decide which content to repost in order to boost its visibility and raise its metrics.

Echobox is a necessary tool for any journalistic organization in the world that wants to maintain a presence on social networks. Echobox is the easiest tool I've ever used: it's intuitive, fast-loading, never glitches, everything is on one page, and their support team is excellent. It cuts out about 6 fiddly jobs before sharing, which makes the entire process much faster and really helps with analytics too. Also, it constantly evolves and has got even better over the years so I'm excited to see what's to come!

We use Echobox to share our news content on social media. It has been implemented in the six media of our newsgroup. It helps us get the most reach and engagement out of the content we share, which is beneficial for deciding which content to share, how, and when. It is a very powerful and useful tool that allows us to save a lot of time and effort.

At The Conversation Australia, our Audience Development team who are primarily responsible for audience acquisition and content creation for social media, have recently introduced Echobox as part of our daily workflow after being advised of its utility and features by colleagues from our international editions. The major things Echobox does for our organisation are making social media curation much quicker and easier, and optimising the timing of posts based on its unique audience score algorithm. This both makes our jobs easier and makes our social media use more effective.
  • The scoring of articles via the algorithm is great - really helpful for prioritising/ordering our stories.
  • Being able to duplicate posts from one platform to create posts for another platform saves us loads of time, and helps ensure continuity across our platforms whilst still tailoring for each platform.
  • Being able to pre-schedule articles before they go live on our site (which is not possible in Facebook's Creator Studio, for instance) is extremely helpful for evening out our workflow and ensuring articles scheduled for weekends and after working hours are still posted as soon as they go live.
  • Tagging people/organisations in posts via Echobox can be a bit slower and the suggested results are not as relevant/targeted. I often find I have to search for the account's handle on the social platform's website and copy/paste that into Echobox
  • Our default captions for our Twitter posts are usually just the headline, which requires changing. I haven't been able to change this in our settings. If there is a quick-fix for changing the basis on which captions are generated, it would be great to circulate/explain this knowledge in introductory sessions and the like.
  • I literally don't have any other suggestions at this stage - I've had a great experience with Echobox so far!
I would highly recommend Echobox's application in a newsroom setting to any colleagues in the media industry. It is a fantastic tool for both increasing the effectiveness and reach of journalistic content on social media, and improving/giving us greater control over the orderly regulation of our social media team's workflow.

We use Echobox to manage our social media output for Twitter and Facebook. As a news station, we use it to manage which news articles are posted from our website and when.
  • Posting automatically. I has a great feature that chooses when to post certain things based on our specific audience data.
  • Scheduling posts. Echobox has a great post publisher module that includes things like link urls and videos/photos that are really important to news coverage.
  • The Archive/Analytics. This feature is very important to our growth and website impressions. We can keep track with engagement much easier with Echobox than with Facebook's tools.
  • With our account, Instagram is not connected because of platform errors. This is somewhat inconvenient.
  • Also when it was connected (Instagram), it seemed like it only had story posting capabilities. While that part is important, scheduling actual Instagram posts (Reels, IGTV, Photo, Video) are very important as well.
Echobox is more suited to companies with platforms that post frequently and are trying to also manage that output on social media, for example a news station or a blogger. In order to use all of its wonderful features to the best of it's abilities, a company would need a website with an RSS feed as well. I could imagine say a really big influencer using it but it may be too big for personal use. It's also great for small businesses that don't have a lot of time to monitor and manually post to social media.

Definitely recommended over other AI tools we considered.

Is it used by a department, most accurate, the digital area of entertainment. Since we are using Echobox, the main problem we had was that the platform does not optimized the contents correctly, so our traffic was affected. Another thing I've found is that the videos take more time to upload, than if we did it directly from Facebook.

If you don't want to create a grill of content, you can use Echobox, since the platform schedule the posts when it considers to be the best time. Is less appropiate if you have to upload several number of videos at the same time.

We use Echobox across our whole organization for the publication of articles across a range of social media platforms, primarily Facebook and Twitter. It allows us to cross-post between different pages and platforms seamlessly, with the ability to customize each post's caption and image accordingly. It also allows us to see what's been published and what is waiting to be published, meaning we never miss any of our articles.

  • Able to have clear list of articles waiting to be published
  • We haven't noticed a significant difference in traffic using the AI software
Echobox is ideal for when there are large amounts of content need published to social media across a variety of pages. The ability to customize and tailor each post individually saves a lot of time and ensures you can get the right message across. However, the AI function may not be suitable for publishing large amounts of articles as it does not appear to make a significant difference.

We use Echobox to plan the publication of small texts on social media platforms to readers of Doorbraak, a Flemish (Belgian Dutch) news and opinion site. It is used by everyone who works at the redaction, which allows us to see directly who has already written about which article, and hence also which articles could use more promotion.
  • Easy to work with. It is very intuitive
  • Multiple people can engage with the software at the same time, and we can monitor each others posts.
  • It allows easy integration between text, video and images
  • Automatic login would be handy, since I have to login every day.
  • I would like to see a history of queud articles. At the moment, only the future is visible.
  • There is no cancellation of images. Once I have selected an image, written an accompanying text, selected the time of publication... and then would like to change the image, I have to re-edit all other information I provided.
I am very happy with the service Echobox provided, and the small unhandiness or difficulty of image editing after all other operations is a small [con] compared to the general user-friendliness, compared to other software. Echobox is very well suited to work as a team on the redaction of a social media account, while still keeping the flexibility of monitoring each others work.

Echobox is being used by our news and web departments across all five Bahakel television stations. We will also be implementing it at six radio stations owned by the company as well. Our web producers are able to focus more time on content creation since Echobox automatically posts our digital content from our websites to our social media pages.
  • Echobox helps save time since it automatically posts content from our website to our social media pages.
  • Echobox uses custom algorithms to help our social media posts get more engagement and shares which leads to increased impressions on our website and digital products.
  • Echobox allows an unlimited amount of user accounts so you don't have to worry about kicking colleagues out of the system when you login.
  • Echobox could make some improvements to their Instagram posting capabilities. Right now, you can't add hashtags, tags or geotags on IG story posts.
  • Echobox could improve in recognizing crime related articles and not schedule them for the next day when the Autofeed is turned on.
  • It would be awesome if Echobox could learn what hashtags we always use on posts and automatically add them when the Autofeed is turned on.
Using Echobox's Autofeed saves our Web Department hours of time each day. Those employees are able to focus on creating more content for our websites than having to worry about scheduling posts to our social media pages. Echobox is also great at keeping up with all the constant changes made by Facebook. With Echobox's guidance, we don't have to worry about our pages being "dinged" by Facebook for improper posting habits.
