[eMDs Plus (formerly McKesson)] has a very loyal "fan base." It is a "first generation" EHR but meets all regulatory requirements for such products. It has an older look but also provides the latest in technology for things like ePrescribing, including EPCS.

I think [eMDs Plus (formerly McKesson)] would do better with people who are familiar with computers. It isn't terribly intuitive so there's that but also these products don't provide the kind of training that would assist novice computer users. But, other than that, it's a good, solid product that provides everything a practice would need.

Aprima is a much newer application with features the 1st generation of EHRs did not have. But, I do not necessarily find it easier to use. It has a lot of "moving parts" so to speak and isn't really intuitive. I've used others than I found easier to learn and use.
