  • Over time, we found more creative ways to utilize some of the live excel aspects of reporting to build analytical and graphical based reporting and forecasting.
  • The ability to utilize native U2 commands, lists made it easier to port existing reporting and knowledge.

  • Positive – we needed a reporting solution that could be implemented across a multitude of clients. Informer met that need and Entrinsik has been a good partner to work with.
  • Negative – Clients have used the product outside of its original intent and it’s rather difficult to stop them from using these unsupported features, such as data extraction, which not only is an overhead for use but brings security into question.
  • Positive – The system is well accepted and improves the image of our company by having such a tool.

  • The ability to schedule report jobs outside of business hours improves employee efficiency because the data they may need for the day is already waiting in their inbox or on their fileshare when they walk into the office in the morning.

  • We have definitely improved customer service due to better reporting using Informer. All departments are better empowered to help our students in a more timely and accurate manner.
  • Using Informer has given us the ability to eliminate functionality within our ERP system and offload reporting to a data store instead of the transactional system. This has resulted in successfully upgrading our core systems and improved response times.

  • Because of the timely access of data, we are better able to make more effective decisions in Student Accounts and Admissions

  • We have experienced a drastic cut in training time needed for new users to get up to speed on reporting. Most users can write a complete report with less than an hour of tips, hints or training.
  • We have reports run in the middle of the night and have data at the employees hands the minute they sign onto their computer each morning. Therefore employee efficiency has gone up since they don't have to gather data or run the reports themselves. Keep in mind these are not even Informer users, all they know if there is a email (From Informer) waiting for them when they get in. Although we may only have 20 employees that actual use Informer itself, the reports that come from Informer touches hundreds.
