- I can host as many or as few events as needed without any upfront commitment or fee
- I am able to collect important guest details at the time of registration by using customer questions
- I am able to embed the Eventbrite checkout widget onto my company website so that attendees never have to leave my website in order to register for my events.
- The onsite check in app is fast and easy so I can quickly welcome guests to my event and know they have registered and paid ahead of time, drastically cutting down on lines.
- The reserved seating functionality is clunky and hard to use. It is not very flexible and has given me serious pains in the past for these specific types of events where I want guests to be able to pick a specific seat at a table for a gala.
- The fees can be out of control for events that have a high ticket price. I rarely use Eventbrite for events that cost more than $100 because they charge entirely too much money.

Great for free events, but they hold funds for paid tickets
- Creating landing pages that stand out and are trusted.
- Communicating with attendees pre and post event.
- The integration with Zoom is good, though there were some recent changes that have confused our attendees on our weekly virtual show.
- Offering other options for merchant processing--Stripe, PayPal, Square, etc.
- Hard to repurpose the weekly events for replay viewing. Have to copy the event and replace the online link with the video link to Youtube.

Eventbrite delivers a great templated event experience that allows robust data and customization.
- Makes the event creation process easy but customizable.
- Provides a standard template for events (ours and others) that users can easily navigate to get the information they need.
- Reports and data are easy to access.
- The event template can start to feel boring and simplistic (not beautiful).

Easy refunds helped a lot when COVID hit!

A Wonderful (and Free!) Ticketing Platform
- Very professional looking -- makes your event feel well run.
- Automates various messages, like confirmation emails and reminders.
- It would be nice if Eventbrite had a demo function to show you just how detailed you can get. Some features can be difficult to locate, or even know that they exist.

Eventbrite has been a reliable online ticketing gateway for 8 years!
- Options for creating specialized demographic-gathering questions. Great for post-event analytics about attendees, which is also helpful for future event planning.
- Coding for ticket discounts and complimentary passes. We have many guest passes that need unique codes. This saves the event staff from manually registering specialized individual ticket sales. It also enables drilling down for post-event analytics.
- Clean design layout. Simple to set up, simple for attendees to navigate.
- Drilling down through order details can be a bit tedious.
- Setting requirement switches for some customized customer questions may seem complicated.
- Badge creation has limited design options.

An Incredibly Efficient Event Creation and Tracking Tool!
- Extremely clean user interface - enables users to access the content they need over being distracted by other features
- Tracking works extremely well. I can easily integrate reporting with other business tools.
- For free events, costs at Eventbrite are extremely low (or free!)
- Eventbrite is a very streamlined service and does not offer a lot in terms of customization.
- Templates are not centered around branding and focus more on Eventbrite's platform
- There are other business solutions that can perform as well or better within more common ecosystems.

Great for small to mid-sized events!
- Collecting guest information with custom options available.

- I'd like to see a separate section to access ticket options from the dashboard so they are much easier to edit when needed.
- When doing paid tickets, the Eventbrite fees and payment processing fees can really add up.

An easy ticketing solution
- Mobile app.
- Simplicity.
- Omni-channel.
- Cross sale.
- Lists of events.
- Marketing of events.
- Easy to create professional-looking event registration pages with multiple ticket types.
- Allows us to create promo codes for discounts or access to hidden ticket types (for employee-only pricing, etc).
- It allows us to accept at-the-door payments as well as online payments.
- Integrates with many other services we use such as Mailchimp and Facebook.
- There are a few quirks that have prevented me from changing a certain element on the order form, the payment process, or other event info after the event has been published. If we need to make a change mid-stream, either we're stuck or we have to delete the event and start over.
- The pricing is approaching the "There's probably a cheaper alternative we should look into" territory. Thankfully we are grandfathered into their more affordable pricing scheme, but I had to steer away from Eventbrite on a different project because the features I needed were pay-walled behind a pricing tier that didn't make sense for my client.
- The Facebook Events integration is great, but beware of the fine-print that prohibits marketing to any attendees who purchased through the Facebook link.

Need to Set up an Event ASAP? Look no further!
- Very user-friendly and beautiful event landing pages.
- There's a good amount of customization in terms of ticket types, adding location info, and collecting different data fields from attendees.
- Their blog/events public pages were great for locals to see upcoming events, so we had some people join us who had never heard of us before.
- Eventbrite could allow you to customize a bit more of their landing pages. They're hardcoded pages with basic levels of customization.
- For nonprofits, we need to be able to track if a portion of a ticket is not tax-deductible. Eventbrite currently doesn't have a field for this in their system, which has been challenging when it comes to tax receipting at the end of the year.
- We've used tools like Ticketspice, which allow a lot more customization of the landing page to collect additional fields and change how the background colors and fonts look. This is lacking in Eventbrite.

Smart Product
- Streamlined RSVP process: very user-friendly
- Great free features: exporting lists, manually adding RSVPs, charging per ticket.
- Good customization on free version: you can add a banner photo and logo, which is really nice.
- There is a feature that allows you to make your event "public," but creating a public event also lumps it into the community calendar, so everyone can see the event. We had guests attend that weren't invited. I wish there were a way to make the URL public, but not show up in search results.
- More email communication. It would be nice if there were a way to link it with a Facebook event/page or have more communication with our attendees.
- More guidance to first-time users may be helpful. It can be difficult to understand how the event page gets pieced together.
