I personally would never have chosen EverString had I been a part of the decisionmaking process. Clearbit is a much better platform for the same type of information, and Hoovers has more accurate account-level information.

We selected EverString because of the ability to actually deliver companies and contacts in our industry. We had tested a number of other products and not been able to find any kind of quantity of useful data. EverString delivers accurate data for our industry.

We currently use Zoom Info to search contact data once we find accounts through Everstring that we want to reach out to. We are finding that the contact data from Zoom Info is slightly better than that of Everstring however Everstring is getting better with their new verification processes that are currently in beta testing.

Everstring is better than Zoom Info because it has a very robust search functionality, enhanced searches, CEM enhancements and also can let you search on intent which has been the most useful to us.

I did not have an influence on the product selection. I am not sure what other products are complimentary to this. The only product I would assume relates to EverString that we leverage is Terminus. Would like to see improved integration between EverString and Terminus platform - today there isn't really one.

EverString provides a more accurate picture and is more relevant since the information is updated on a weekly basis. This makes it easier to stay current with prospect account and understand any ongoing changes within the organization.

Infer didn't work out very well for us. It didn't include intent data, exporting to CRM was a mess, and sales never trusted the models. It was difficult to tell why an account had a high score, and when you did take a look, you'd see weird attributions like +10 points for starting with a vowel, or -20 points for having a .net domain.

EverString's models are based on much more reasonable data points (like funding round, location, etc).

I have used and am currently using both of the tools above. I love SalesLoft for the ability to manage the prospecting process at a contact and account basis, while providing tracking against the information I send or the attempts I make to contact a prospect.

We use ZoomInfo for contact information and some account details when adding net new accounts. Would like to try using EverString for contact details as well but my organization has to finish contract with ZoomInfo before expanding EverString services further. If I could try this feature, my opinion that ZoomInfo is better for contact and account detail enrichment would likely change.

Many ABM platforms have similar capabilities - we selected EverString predominantly due to the price advantages of going with an individual solution prior to investing in the entire ABM platform, which would have been much more expensive. We have seem demos of all, and EverString fits our needs well (early stage ABM strategy development).

We still have ZoomInfo and hoovers, but where EverString wins is that its a live connected to our CRM that updates monthly & its a multi database vs a single that constantly learns and gets better.

I did not have any evaluation into the selection process here at Acquia. We do have ZoomInfo accounts as well as DiscoverOrg, although those accounts are spread out within the organization. I have used DiscoverOrg at my previous employer and to me, that is far and away the best tool and blows away EverString in terms of everything. Not only can it do all the benefits of EverString, but it also has alerts on companies, company org charts, and contact information, but the user-friendliness is superior. ZoomInfo to a lesser degree has the same strengths versus EverString.

We selected EverString because of their ability to enable us to create as many models as we needed to fit our business, integration with our display advertising platform and additional integration with Bombora intent data. Additionally, the data science team at Everstring was able to uncover the underlying data points that made our model as transparent as possible with our sales organization.

Other technologies that were "similar" all had slightly different use cases that I think were or are relevant to our company at different times. For example, ZenProspect is great in terms of providing actual leads and email addresses into our database. However, when we relied on that, we had built our own filtering based on industry and company size, which was a good start, but Everstring's fit score was a much more powerful engine.
