We use EZ Texting to send out reminders for new students, follow up with demo students, reach out to families about makeup classes, and occasionally send out promotional texts.
  • Create unlimited groups to help organize contacts
  • Create templates for future use
  • Create trackable links
  • The app does not offer the same functionality as the website
  • The character limitation is far too strict. (SMS vs. MMS)
  • I wish I could filter more with the groups such as send to group A, but remove anyone who is also in group B.
  • The copy and paste feature has never worked for me in regards to uploading contacts. Instead, I have to create a CSV and manually remove all ()- and spaces for it to be compatible. This is a very time-consuming extra step.
It is convenient to have a text service that multiple users can access, but I find that it is over-priced and has too many limitations. When I first joined, there was not an additional charge for MMS, and so this change tripled in price for me very shortly after I joined. I also find that the limited number of users (in my current package) is unnecessary and feels like just another way for EZ Texting to make money. While it is functional, it does not feel like a customer-focused business.

EZ Texting has allowed to effectively communicate with my customers. It's easy to send reminders, new offers, new updates. I started noticing that a large amount of emails were not opened as much or either customers would not open them until later. I noticed an instant response from customers when EZ Texting was used. Right away customers and leads provided feedback.

Using EZ Texting to provide Motivational Monday quotes and reminders to upcoming deadlines
  • The AI Generated texts that allow different voices (passionate, playful, business, etc)
  • The opt in options for those we wish to communicate. The process is simple and it allows our students to decide to keep receiving the information or not.
  • Track the messages, and allows those of us to see which numbers bounced or did not receive.
  • I like the ability to create different lists, however, the ease of creating a second list with the same numbers appears to be challenging.
  • Customer service was a challenge, as the multiple times I called to discuss messages being delivered the response was "It is the provider, nothing we can do about that.."
Well-Suited: Reminders and promotion work very well, and the ability to craft the text to the specific audience and make the message clear is fantastic. However, to add the emoji, it appears that you have to utilize the AI version to get the colorful texting to come through.

Best free texting site I have ever used. It is quick and easy and reliable to send and receive text messages and I couldn’t get by in my normal daily routine without having this service. Easy to understand prompts and the AI capabilities for creating new emails in many different formats “casual, informative, passionate, formal or playful and they are really incredibly helpful and diverse and can reach a lot of customers by letting the AI compose your emails. You can even put in a descriptive template that you use on a regular basis and it will change it for you to something more smart and informative. I highly recommend this text service for all your marketing needs to reach customers on a regular daily basis.

Texting is currently the most precise marketing tool for reaching out to customers. In our business, we always send important updates or offers via text. We want our customers to be aware of any important news, so texting is our preferred way of communicating with folks who want to stay informed.

  • It's very difficult to say where they can improve, as we are completely satisfied.
It's really well suited for businesses from small to large, and plan options reflect that. It's excellent for keeping customers aware of updates, such as business hours or new additions, and for informing customers of offers. We use it once a month on average to avoid potential spamming.

We use EZ Texting to keep our customers up to date on UI releases and new products. It is a great way to connect with customers because texting almost ensures they see your message. It's hard to get our customers' attention by email. They are busy and receive lots of emails from many other similar businesses. Texting allows us to stand out and ensures our customers are aware of the amazing things we are developing to help them.

I think EZ Texting is perfect for small businesses looking to get into using text campaigns. I may not recommend it for a larger enterprise with a large/capable IT and Marketing division because it does lack features that more dynamic options have - however, it can integrate with other platforms, so maybe larger companies would choose it, and I'm wrong. That said, the things that make it maybe not great for a larger enterprise make it great for small businesses and start-ups just getting into text. It's been a good solution for us after running into complex issues with other solutions that became a huge entry barrier.

We have a 30-acre working ranch, complete with a farm store, right here on the property. We use EZ texting to notify our customer base when we have specials or new products in the store. This is a huge time saver for us, and our customers receive the text messages right away, where they may not receive or open an email for days, if ever.
  • It offers a good range of options at a very affordable rate.
  • It allows you to preview exactly what your message will look like to customers.
  • AI is offered to assist with wording.
  • You have the ability to schedule ahead when you would like the messages to go out.
  • I honestly do not know of any areas that EZ Texting could improve.
  • Upon pondering, perhaps EZ Texting could send periodic reminders for businesses to contact their customers.
Our store is only open two days each week. Easy texting is a great way for us to remind customers of our availability. It is also a great way to get specific messages and specials out to our customers expeditiously in case of short notice. This program makes contacting hundreds of people very easy and fast!

I used EZ Texting for an event - XO Summit - where 50+ of our portfolio CEOs come together for a 3-4 day summit. I was able to send pre-event, during event and post event details to them seamlessly! I categorized them into groups, etc. I also had a separate group for our staff. I was able to send to the specific stakeholders really quickly, and preview which was a big deal to me. Pictures and links were easier with EZ Texting than other options I've tried as well!

We loved it for our event. This is not likely your target customer use case, but we loved it!! We were able to schedule to send all of our reminders, locations, event details etc!

We used EZ texting to market our events and send text messages to potential agents to show what Eagles World Realty can offer. EZ Texting was a costly approach to try to reach a broader audience to complete these tasks. We were also using it to communicate with our in-house agents to let them know what classes we had going on that day/week. We didn't get much reaction, and many of the agents opted out. It was just not a good ROI, unfortunately.

  • Having a confusing interface.
  • I would update the user interface. When you accidentally exit the message you're preparing, figuring out how to get back to it isn't easy.
I would say EZ texting is suitable for most applications; I just really wouldn't use it for in-house communications with your agents. You could use it to market your events, but that's about it. I would mainly recommend EZ texting to people trying to reach a larger audience for their events or if they are trying to market a deal or product.

We started using this for mass text campaigns, but also for credit card recapture for our sustainers whose card have expired. We’ve had a huge success and a process that used to take us days to call and email took all of an hour. We recaptured $3,000 worth of revenue in an hour, a feat that people would have taken weeks. This has been super useful and even is walking us through ensuring we are compliant with texting regulations. I’ve used it at two organizations now and I will continue to do so!

I have just begun a membership with EZ Texting and have sent out 2 texts. It is a wonderful tool in my business to keep clients up to date on event details. It has saved me a LOT of time not having to text people individually! And I love the AI feature to write happy reminders! Thank you!

We use this platform often to help us send out upcoming services and updates on events. It’s been very helpful in keeping our congregation informed and up to date all at once. It has truly helped our church in more ways than one and has been easy to set up and send out messages.

Mass personalized communication to clients databases with promotional offers and announcements. It allows us to find current in market shoppers in our current database with trackable links. We primarily use the MMS feature and have seen double to sometimes triple the response rate from shoppers since the image is a visual transfer of trust for shoppers instead of just live type and a link for them to click on.

We use EZ Texting to get the most important messages out to our membership. We find more and more that members get inundated with emails, and texting seems to be a better way of communication. EZ Texting is pretty easy to use.

We're a housing authority. We have implemented EZ Texting to inform residents of: upcoming events, appointment reminders, service provider announcements, organizational announcements etc... We believe it will allow for us to keep them more up-to-date on any organizational updates/closures. We schedule programming with outside vendors, we will be able to provide them any updates from the providers

  • We can send flyers and videos to tenants about service offerings
  • I don't like that you have to pay for multiple people to access the database
  • While it's pretty user-friendly, it can always be more so

It can help in a crisis situation; however, it would be more appropriate to have someone call by phone. Perhaps EZ Texting can enable a facetime like option It's very well suited to inform our residents if we have severe weather and must close. Also, if there is mechanical issues going on or any other emergency situation to notify them of what's going on

I have a karaoke dj photo booth business. Clients take a photo and text/email to themselves the photo. Approximately 90 days after the event takes place, I send a link to the sms/email recipients from those parties informing them that the amazing photos will expire in 7 days thus establishing trust for future promotions of my services.

Half of the other platforms were speaking a language for middle men, bulk customer users or some kind of language a website 'code' maker would understand. I represent me and not a wholesaler for other businesses.

We use EZ Texting primarily as a communication platform for all of our tenants and it’s great! We have four locations, so it’s a time saver for us to easily choose from contact groups. We also use the platform for marketing campaigns and it has been a huge help! Going through contacts can take a very long time and having available groups to click on really saves us from hours of work.

Perhaps unlike many users, our company uses EZ Texting for message distribution to our entire workforce located throughout the state. Messaging includes (but not limited to) access to our company newsletter, event invitations, morale boosters, important notices affecting job sites, and general company announcements. We are able to contact our employees reliably and quickly and have found a much higher read and response rate over email.
  • Account set up was easy and clearly outlined
  • Contact list creation and editing - love the group feature, easy to upload lists or modify individual listings
  • Reporting/reports were helpful and easy to understand
  • Consistency in delivery of messages
  • Website - using links is frustrating as activating the actual link is often not the word for the link but the space under the word or place that one usually expects. So, you can "click" over and over again and nothing happens till you find the exact spot.
  • Often times when I would search for a contact using a name, nothing would appear (except the message "this contact doesn't exist). When I would search using the phone number the contact would come up (with the name I searched for previously.)
  • The pricing structure for smaller businesses is pretty steep - $75 monthly for only 500 credits and no rollover. Plus the extra charge for added speed.
We've found that our employees are way more engaged with company communication by text over email. We send out notices for company-wide Zoom/Teams meetings and have increased our participation by 50%. Link tracking in text messaging similar to what is available with email services like HubSpot is extremely valuable, which helps us learn what works well. We can send messages that disperse important announcements of upcoming deadlines, new employee opportunities (professional development), and timely job site information such as weather related closures.

I work for a church and we use EZ Texting as a marketing tool. We send out over one hundred texts every month with EZ Texting to let local families know about upcoming events that our church is hosting. EZ Texting has been one of the most effective ways of getting information into people's hands quickly.

Sending promotional content to more than twenty people is definitely a task for EZ Texting. When you are communicating with people outside your organization and you don't want to give out your personal information, this is a great platform that allows you to do just that. EZ Texting is exactly that. Easy. I tried a competitor company and it just didn’t work. So many glitches. I found EZ Texting and got started right away. It’s also terrific that we get to decide how much we want to spend as we go. It’s not a hefty monthly commitment. Pay as you go is great. I wish it had a few more features but for now it’s been a good move for us and is helping my business.
