Facebook Pages Manager is very slow and doesn't have the ability to manage multiple pages at the same time. The mobile version, while it does exist (vs. Facebook for Business not having one at all), is clunky and has a hard to understand layout. It also misses a lot of the functionality we need, like post scheduling and removal.

  • Buffer
Facebook for Business allows scheduling and tracking, as the scheduling software Buffer - the difference for Facebook for Business is that it provides more ease of tagging within the Facebook platform, and you can preview what your posts look like. The tracking/metrics are also way more detailed, and you can see when your particular audience is most active.

Facebook is my preferred platform for paid advertising for creating awareness with new audiences. Advertising solutions such as Google Ads are very effective at reaching customers who are late in the decision-making process and looking for a solution, but are less effective at reaching new audiences. Facebook provides tools for accomplishing this.

Google Ads is too costly for the results. I like Twitter Ads and find they would best for getting music listened to. I've also used Spotify ads which are horrible and I will never use them again unless they change self-services ads formats. Nextdoor is a good place to run advertisements for local sellers.

Facebook for Business provides some of the most cost-effective returns of any ad platform we use, at very high volumes. Its user database, ad formats and targeting options are unrivaled. However, the platform itself can be glitchy, and lately has been mired in social and political issues, which causes some difficulty in working with the platform from a business perspective.

I truly believe that Facebook for Business is one of it's kind - Facebook's acquisition of Instagram proves that.
Using it is nearly unavoidable if you want to advertise online, or better said, it's worth giving it a try. You can research the basics for free, and use smaller test budgets to see if it works for you.

Facebook can target more audiences as most people are on this social platform. Even Instagram also helped in promoting businesses similar to Facebook.

Facebook is the largest platform with the highest number of users. It is more suitable to target new customers, than old customers. Facebook gives us the ability to target past website visitors, old customers, and new customers. Managing brands and campaigns is easy with Facebook and Twitter. You can merge all Facebook pages, ads and messages into one platform, no need to login to multiple platforms. There are lots of reporting features and plenty of API's for you to create your own reporting platform and make reports in your own format.

We have used AdWords, but it's a different platform. In our case, we have more visual products and there's hard to find other scalable channels that let is contact new customers at the very top of the funnel.

Pinterest Ads could be a choice but they are very small in our country.

So, basically, that's why they are where they are: there isn't somebody as big as Facebook, with such a robust platform (for users and advertisers) that will let the scale of your advertising grow very quickly and so powerful.
Twitter Ads can be another option, but in our case, none of our customers use it, so...

Depending on your target audience Facebook advertising is a powerhouse, especially when advertising direct to consumers. Each platform has its advantages, but I have always found the most success between Google Ads and Facebook for business. Bing Ads often doesn't have a comparable reach and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions can be expensive and provided limited results in comparison to Facebook or Google Ads.

Because I am more familiar with Facebook and Instagram, I have to say they are much better than using things like Twitter Ads & Google Ads. I produce niche products, so Google Ads doesn't bring me to the top of SEO with all my competition. Further, I don't really like Twitter so I don't find it to be conducive to create ads and find there is no ROI.

Facebook has the people, and therefore it wins the comparison against the other social platforms, but there are some options to have similar advertising on other networks. Google's YouTube platform is a viable option, but still doesn't quite hit the same audiences in the same mindset as you find on the Facebook properties.
Simply, we use Facebook due to the audience size.

As a social media page platform, Facebook for Business feels like a half-baked product that really needs more attention. Facebook for Business just does the job without doing it exceptionally well. It is not where it needs to be to compete with other paid-for services. Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social all do social media management better, albeit without access to the Facebook Advertising platform.

Facebook has allowed us to have an open way to communicate with our community and people that want to learn more from us. We needed a platform to share information and communicate upcoming events and content and now we have a super easy way to do it.

Facebook has more users than Twitter and Instagram generating more leads than those. It has a unique way to connect to users, targeting required audiences, look-alike new customers. Facebook does have more fake users which create fake leads and effects revenue. Facebook may take a lot of time to learn its dashboard but it worth learning.

We use a variety of touch points and Facebook for Business is one of them. You can't be everywhere, but you do have to spread your resources so you are overlapping and reaching your target markets on various outlets. This is one of the places we feel like our money makes an impact on our conversion rates.

We decided to go with Facebook for Business based almost exclusively on the familiarity factor both from a building/admin perspective as well as from a user perspective. Ultimately, this has such a strong pull towards simplicity of use and implementation that it would still be the best reason to pick Facebook for Business today.

When it comes to marketing on Facebook, there is no other better tool than Facebook for Business. It is the internal tool built by Facebook to help businesses use the platform. Because of this, there is no need to sync or try to integrate another third party tool to your organization's work on the platform.

Facebook for Business still has a huge lead over other platforms since in Indonesia, Facebook is still the number one social media or website for that matter. A lot of people get their news from Facebook instead of going directly to news outlets, hence it makes more sense to promote our contents directly through Facebook for Business for the time being.

Depending on the goals of a campaign Facebook for Business can be the best channel or the worst. It's not overly expensive and sizable reach is achievable. The scale in which you can target a large (or small) audience is easy and only Google is comparable. The quality of the audience is below what you can expect to find with AdWords or LinkedIn Marketing, with LinkedIn being one of the most focused. That being said, LinkedIn is more highly targeted but limited in size. I've used this mostly for B2B initiatives but can be very good for B2C if you have a good content development strategy.

I wouldn't say I chose to use Facebook for Business, I'd say Facebook forced me to use it. When you have a growing business or multiple pages or start running ads, you are pretty much forced into using Facebook for Business whether you want to or not. And not a lot of outside affordable tools integrate with Facebook for Business so it's one of the only options out there.
