Our company is on all the main social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook). In terms of audience reach, Facebook has the biggest audience. If you're a Business to Consumer company, Facebook is the place to be. If you're a Business to Business company with a limited budget, I'd try LinkedIn to reach more business professionals.

There aren't really any "competitors" to Facebook for Business because it's used to manage Facebook pages. However Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat lag far behind Facebook for agencies managing multiple pages. Each of those social media platforms require shared login information and switching between accounts. Otherwise, [there is] a third party tool like Hootsuite. Because of this, Facebook for Business is a head above the other social media tools.

  • Google Plus
I have used Google Plus for Companys, but there is no comparison between the people that are regularly on Google Plus and Facebook. I don't see any reason why someone would choose to spend their time posting on Google Plus when they could be using Facebook for Business to market their company.

In the past I've used Hootsuite Free to manage Facebook pages. Hootsuite for free doesn't even come close to Facebook for Business. Facebook for Business essentially has everything you need at your fingertips to manage a Facebook page/Facebook ad campaign for a business. When I used Hootsuite, it really only gave me the ability to manage/schedule content.

We've been around the advertising platform block and I've never used an easier platform to use for our business. Facebook for Business not only comes with fantastic advertising options, but also great options for Facebook business pages, groups and really great support. I don't believe there's any other platform out there that wants you, as marketers, to succeed as much as Facebook does. Facebook has an outstanding algorithm and knows their users like the back of their hand, and they are willing to give you the ability to use that algorithm data. Which is so so powerful for marketing efforts. They also have a live chat for business support which is a great change. If you're having trouble or have a question you can be chatting with a support agent within minutes. I use this feature all the time just to ask questions and have only ever had good experiences.
