Honest Facebook for Business Review

- I mostly use Facebook to run ads that help bring people to my clients websites.
- I do like Facebook ad demographic sections. The suggestion page is very good.
Has Everything You Need - But Also Some Things You Really Don't Want
- Facebook almost always provides a positive ROI for both our business, and our clients, in terms of advertising on the platform.
- There have been occurrences where, due to glitches or mistakes in the platform, our ads were served and we were charged for invalid traffic; however, this is almost always rectified later (as far as we know).
- It is unfortunate that small businesses are being restricted and penalized on the advertising platform, while politicians and the large corporations funding them are not; these scenarios also make our clients less inclined to advertise on the platform.
Facebook for YOUR business
- Facebook for Business is a highly customizable tool and has barely any competitors if you look at its complexity.
- You can read all the know-hows on how to set up an account the right way, and experiment.
- One of many networks, Facebook for Business, and the ads manager within that has its given CPC rates, that with the right settings, it can bring a good ROI for advertisements.
Use Facebook for your Business
- It targets audiences that are not on platforms like Instagram, Twitter etc.
- We cannot send promotional emails to everyone if we don't have their email address, but with Facebook, we can now target a different audience.
Facebook for growth of business.
- The growth of a business is faster and smoother.
- Increase in the number of customers.
Powerful and scalable advertising, but hard to master!
- Definitely has a positive ROI with increasing sales, but beware because it's not easy to measure on every stage of the funnel (how much does an ad in the very top of the funnel should be accounted for on a sale?). Attribution is hard sometimes.
- Managing is expensive and time-consuming. So far we haven't been able to find any solution to automate this. We are using automatic rules but you still need to be on top of things (considering how much budget we are spending on this).
- Beware on Facebook suspending your account. As I said before, the suspension was completely unjustified (they ended up activating it again) but don't over-rely on this platform because they just don't care if you spend your money there or elsewhere. They just don't give a damn about the customer (you).
- Overall positive ROI has been achieved using this platform. You must have a clear understanding of where your CPL maximums are to remain profitable and either optimize to success or pull the plug on campaigns that are bleeding spend.
- This is a great platform to build new audiences or grow existing ones.
- Building audience segments via pixel tracking is a huge win for this platform.
For small companies
- We've had a higher return on investment due to Facebook for Business.
Insight into what your customers want and need!
- I haven't had much ROI from using Facebook for Business, and unfortunately, other local businesses I know haven't felt that they got much ROI on their paid ads either.
- The good point of Facebook for Business is that I can still look into who is interested in my products and build around my audience that way.
Reluctantly Using Facebook for Business
- We are able to get inexpensive leads using Facebook for business, helping our bottom line.
- We are able to get our message out to a larger number of people with a relatively small spend.
- Sometimes we end up spending money for digital advertising without a clear picture of where it went and who was able to view it.
Facebook for Business - Worth The Switch?
- Facebook for Business has helped us manage teams and communication better and in turn helped our business establish itself on social media. This in turn has helped us increase our sales-per-customer ratio.
- It has also helped us protect our key profiles and brand image on Facebook as we can easily assign and remove users from specific pages and accounts as needed.
- Getting new clients and customers easily.
- Branding, running campaigns easily, promoting your products.
- Report on old and new campaigns using Gantt charts.
Facebook for Business and nonprofits
- People can identify with our organization all the time.
- Access to our content and information is crucial and now it's everywhere.
- We can answer questions quickly and people know it's us.
Facebook for Business - connecting with users the easy way
- Generating more targeting customers generates more revenues.
- Reporting of leads generated through Facebook.
- We use Facebook ads a lot in our digital marketing strategy and it helps us get more people interested in our fashion products and buy them.
- It also helps us a lot in terms of saving time, as it has improved the campaign creation, audiences, and other commonly used features a lot.
- Reporting feature also helps me save a lot of time, as I was doing all that manually before, but now I get the job done much faster and better.
One of the larger eggs in our basket
- We heavily promote our brand without actually selling through our ads. I feel like Facebook is a great place to get exposure and keep our brand fresh in their mind for when they are shopping. It provides another touch point for us.
- Everything is transparent online. It can be hard when you have disgruntled customers that blow up social media. We used to worry about the negative impact that would have but we actually find it to be a positive. Being open, honest, and responding quickly to our "haters" really helps build our reputation and keeps people coming back to our brand.
