Although there are not many shortcomings in it, but if we talk about advantages, then we can avail many benefits from here. Like we can easily search any candidate details and setup coddler in in JOB DIVA so that we can easily get the working hours. And we can easily get the pay rate and the bill rate of the candidates. And also we can get easily work week of the candidates.

I think the challenges we have is that the team implementing with SAP allowed to many customizations which created a complexity that make the product hard to use and creates failures across the product set.

Using a single dashboard, we can manage both workers and contractors thanks to this cloud-based vendor management solution. We can efficiently manage purchasing, invoice production, and payments thanks to the centralised platform. The ability to manage the time and expenses of temporary staff is one of SAP Fieldglass' finest capabilities, along with its assistance in vendor and expense management. It also offers beneficial analytics and reporting features that give us cost information. The technology has proven to be quite beneficial for our business because it helps with compliance management with regard to things like pay and labour rules, among other things. Overall, SAP Fieldglass is an essential tool for companies trying to enhance their management of contingent workers.

I have some limited experience with other VMS tools and still will prefer Fieldglass over the others. It's user friendly and more integrated with the various other systems we use. SAP gives a level of visibility and user experience that is second to none. They invest in their tool and it shows.

Appropriate for contractors and not linked to company HR system for FT as it is not connected with HR. External Contractors can be easily setup and screened as it has data base of all the approved supplier. It can post the job to all the supplier in one go. It can also scan all candidates at same time.

SAP Fieldglass is the perfect fit where a customer has a decentralized contingent labor process. That paired with the presence of SAP within the organization makes it a seamless decision for the broader enterprise. Given that FG is a mature player in this sector, it makes sense if there is a certain spend threshold in place when it comes to reliance on Contingent Labor resources.

  • Pros : Enterprise-wide visibility to contingent worker headcount. Automated process improves cycle times, reduces manual processes. It's best for customers who already have SAP Ecosystem. Provides a seamless integration to the Clients backend SAP system. Provides advance notification of solution upgrades, patches, and revisions, especially as it relates to cloud hosted solutions. An environment secured against security violations and threats.
  • Cons : Need a good technical and integration with right skillset. The challenge of having a good clean source of Master data. Invoice processing integration and mapping with ERP/SAP needs more improvement. Needs more improvement on cloud based help from user training point of vie.

I like the basic functionality of Fieldglass, but I know there's more. I want to be able to use Fieldglass to its full ability, but we are having a hard time getting someone technical (not sales) to sit down with us and do a complete rundown of what we have and what is available, and what we should be using to optimize our Fieldglass experience.

For contingent labor, the tool is fantastic in generating a high number of qualified candidates; on the other end, the management of time sheets and integration to SAP is difficult, and there is no out-of-the-box integration to SAP for invoicing.
