Filmora is a versatile video editing tool that is widely used by professionals and novices alike for various purposes. Users have found Filmora to be easy to use, with a shorter learning curve compared to other advanced video editing software options. This makes it a popular choice for editing YouTube channel videos, video advertisements, and social media videos. Additionally, Filmora is utilized for cutting videos for online classes and courses, allowing users to easily add watermarks, text, and adjust audio. The software is also employed for splicing together multiple videos and leveraging effects like overlays and other video editing tools and features. One of the highlights of using Filmora is its ever-growing effects pack and subscription service, which provides users with access to more transitions, effects, and overlays.

Filmora has gained traction in different industries due to its user-friendly interface and availability of presets and effects. For example, users in the IT industry find it particularly useful for editing drone videos as it provides a simple way to edit and trim down the footage. In the education sector, Filmora allows teachers and students to create classroom movies, enhancing learning and retention skills. Furthermore, interior designers and architects utilize Filmora to create videos showcasing their projects such as real estate videos and interior design videos.

Content creators and event planners rely on Filmora to create weekly tutorials and strengthen their brand on platforms like YouTube. Users appreciate the simplicity of Filmora for basic video editing tasks such as splicing videos, overlaying audio, and adding annotations. It has also been used in customer training and promotional videos where subtitles can be added for non-English audiences.

While there are many positive experiences with Filmora, some users have encountered difficulties navigating the website or accessing free items. Additionally, there have been complaints regarding pricing and refund policies. Despite these issues, overall Filmora remains a versatile video editing tool used by a variety of professionals and individuals across different industries for their specific needs.

Filmora receives several common recommendations from users. Firstly, many users highly recommend Filmora for beginners and content creators who are struggling to find satisfactory video editing software. They praise its ease of use and the ability to enhance creativity. Secondly, Filmora is often suggested as a great tool for quick video customization and editing, offering a wide range of audio and video clips to design desired outcomes. Users also appreciate that it is adequately priced compared to competitors. Lastly, Filmora is recommended for those who want to create professional-looking content without extensive knowledge in video editing. It is considered the best application in the market for beginners and intermediate-level content creators, especially for young generations who want to share videos on platforms like YouTube. However, it is worth noting that some users suggest switching to other software like Premiere Pro for professional videos that require advanced features such as color grading, curve adjustment, and masking.

  • Not providing SRT to Speech
  • They have an incomprehensibly bad video editing platform (at least from the SRT to Speech end)
  • They provide terrible customer service
  • They refuse to give you refunds
  • They should test products before using them
  • They should have a free trial, (they don't because no one would upgrade)
  • They should give refunds for products that don't work

  • Edits videos very well.
  • Records the screen of your computer perfectly. This is great if you are an architect because you can show on a video how you make your renderings and plans with AutoCAD, chief architect premier, Adobe PhotoShop or even revit.
  • You can cut videos perfectly and add music to them easily.
  • You can use several predesigned themes to create any video you desire.
  • You can add as much text as you want to your videos
  • There are several filters you can use to improve the images on the recordings.
  • Add more filters
  • Add more themes
  • Add more fonts for the texts

  • Really oversimple video editing.
  • Decent UI with lots of pay-to-use features built into the pro tool you already paid for.
  • Abysmal cancellation policy.
  • Prominent features missing without extra subscriptions.
  • Simplistic screen grab features that free products already do better at.

  • It is like simple! simply drop some video and pictures and put music below it and DONE! you have got your video.
  • It has a number of transitions and video results. Some strong colors and objects that you could use.
  • The export high quality is incredible.
  • The enhancing half is a bit bizarre, it is like you're driving in the UK, I am undecided why they selected to reverse clipping and reduce movies
  • More often than not I've to deal with not screwing up the video timeline however accidentally delete or enhance a clip.
  • I hope they modify it to a extra common enhancing mode.

  • Perfect balance of features and ease of use, most people can use it after a few hours of using the software
  • Filmora has lots of great video tutorials to take advantage of all the features it offers
  • The timeline editor is easy to use and offers great features such as audio detachment and green screen capability
  • Lots of presets and add-on filters available
  • Sometimes they roll out new versions before properly testing them, which leads to bugs, lag and a lesser user experience from previous versions. I usually choose to wait to upgrade.
  • It would be nice if they added more options to improve audio quality, the current options may be too basic for some users
  • Filmora can get laggy sometimes when editing several video tracks
  • They should add more creative options for headings & titles, most of what they have are pretty bland

  • Safe and copyright-free music
  • Import or export in almost all formats and file types
  • Fully functional free version, although it includes a big watermark.
  • Slightly slows AMD processors.

  • Seamless interface.
  • Adding text and effect overlays on the video.
  • Providing new tools and goodies.
  • There's a big push to get you to buy more features and it gets really annoying.
  • Lag/flickering in the example video.

  • Easy to use, very intuitive interface.
  • Plenty of effects and presets. Really useful for less experienced people.
  • Very many online resources, tutorials, presets packs, effects...etc.
  • Very good and responsive support. In live chats always polite and professional.
  • Constantly updated. From program updates to weekly effects and presets additions.
  • Could have more audio effects options.
  • Having keyframes not only in the Pro version.
  • Login across the platform. As mentioned by others, while adding effects you have to login several times. An offline option could be useful.

  • Cut videos.
  • Add transition effects.
  • Multiple logins required. The software is jumping back and forth between online and local software.
  • Sometimes a little slow on long movies if you don't have a fast processor and a lot of RAM.

  • Managing the content of your project is easy. Buttons are there to quickly access video, audio, titles, and transitions.
  • The online store makes it easy to add new effects as needed. There's a good selection of options so your videos don't have to all look the same.
  • Exporting your project includes many options and formats, including some direct publishing options.
  • The online store can be a little clunky, sometimes requiring me to login two or three times. After a successful login, everything works fine.
  • Occasionally the transitions don't export into the video correctly, usually by not being in the correct place in the video. I always check my exported video before closing out my project.
  • I didn't find any audio files included in the standard offering or from the online store.
