We actually have replaced Forcepoint Web Security with Zscaler Internet Access and have been extremely happy with the change.

Extend content and threat protection to off-premises EUC

Forcepoint Web Security provided off-network coverage which was not possible utilizing the on-premises deployment of the Cisco Secure Web Appliance that we were previously using. The Forcepoint Web Security product was more cost-effective for the specific feature set that we were looking to implement than the Zscaler product.

Forcpoint Web Security keeps my organization's users safe from malicious threats, including zero-day threats. It protects against zero-day threats with real-time threat intelligence and remote browser isolation, and provides deep content inspection for encrypted and unencrypted traffic to detect evolving threats across the entire kill chain. It provides consistent policies with robust access control for all our sites, cloud apps, and corporate/remote users.

Reassured Cybersecurity
I am aware of another cybersecurity specialist in another organization that utilized the Acronis Cyber Cloud for Enterprise but cannot speak to its usage. I can only say that the Forcepoint products and history of support alongside its powerful reputation is one of the largest reasons why we maintain Forcepoint Web Security.

Forcepoint Web Security offers comfort and security
To be honest, once using Forcepoint for our Web Security, I have not wanted to look anywhere else. The dashboard gives me quick insight of threats, productivity, and bandwidth usage. Again, this is a layer in my security and it fills many holes. I feel safe and I do like I can just let it do its thing.

Forcepoint Web Security - The Only Choice
We chose Forcepoint Web security over other vendors as it is the best in its class in my opinion. It is used by a number of large organizations and government agencies and it has enormous expansion/integration capabilities with other modules e.g. CASB, DLP which all play a massive role in the protection, compliance and governance of the ever changing infrastructure landscape.

New and liking Forcepoint
The only other product that I have used does not stack up against Forcepoint at all. Given that they aren't nearly as powerful as Forcepoint.
I purchased an up-and-coming product called SurfControl in 1999. Although I don't know who acquired SurfControl or when, I know that I just stuck with it, and I haven't had to evaluate another web security product in over 20 years, and that's a good thing.

Solid Web Security
- Cisco Web Security and zscaler
zScaler is a solid product but the price point is a bit steep. They are very similar in the way that they function.
Cisco Web Security was our previous product and that was inferior compared to FWSS and it cost more during its maintenance renewal than FWSS during an installation.
Overall FWSS is able to handle everything that we've needed it to do and it has provided a seamless installation.

Solid protection without babysitting!
Forcepoint Web Security is a much more robust web protection suite than TRITON, and much easier to manage once it is implemented.

Quick analysis and access list for the small/medium environment.
- Cisco Firepower NGFW (formerly Sourcefire)
Forcepoint's preassigned policies are a great way to get started. Sourcefire was much more transparent on what was happening to each packet and where it came from and to. But adding in rules and fine tuning the URL filtering was difficult. It took considerably more effort to track down which policy was actually blocking the content. Forcepoint's test filtering tool is very nice to use to determine which policy is blocking/not blocking and with the exceptions tool allows for a quick way to allow access to site/content.
