Decent product with poor support
- It does seem to block a good amount of malicious sites.
- Received very poor support during and after a recent upgrade with negative effects for many of our users.
- Product support is somewhere between mediocre and non-existent.
Meets requirements but in our experience does not lend itself well to remote workers
- The design of Forcepoint Web Security [in my opinion] does not lend itself well to remote workers. This was obvious [to me] before the pandemic and was only more evident with the pandemic.
- Quality control of Forcepoint Web Security software requires staff time and resources to administer and upgrade. It is refreshing to see the administration [needs to be] reduced with a cloud-based solution.

New and liking Forcepoint
- Good investment, given the many websites it has been blocking.
- Return on Investment is different from company to company and hard to pinpoint an exact amount, however, keeping 3000 employees from going to websites not work related you can only imagine the amount of non-productive hours it is saving the company.
- You can also see the ROI in the time it saves the IT dept. from dealing with computer issues cause by malicious websites.
- The investment is actually modest, considering how important web security is.
- I don't know how to quantify the hours it saves IT staff, but it is substantial.
- Users know they are monitored and that they are allowed a reasonable amount of personal web usage. They appreciate it and rarely abuse this privilege.
