Freshteam is a HR software for growing businesses. With Freshteam, users can attract, hire and onboard new hires, offboard exiting employees, manage employee information, and time off - in one place.

We selected Freshteam as our applicant tracking system to help us with recruitment and hiring. The system is designed to make it easy to move applicants from stage to stage, with some built-in automation to allow for more efficient screening and hiring. We typically had about 1 - 6 roles open at any one time.
  • Automation: setting up automatic update emails for candidates.
  • Easy view into applicants by stage.
  • Ability to set up a professional-looking career page.
  • User experience - most people at our company were extremely confused by Freshteam and I frequently struggled with the same task (i.e. adding users).
  • Tracking applicant diversity - we ended up using Typeform to supplement Freshteam.
  • Analytics - hard to use and not particularly useful.
Freshteam is much less expensive than other ATSs - we've recently switched to Greenhouse which is more than ten times as expensive. It seems like a good starter ATS for small startups and the automation may be useful for teams without dedicated HR support. I suspect that many companies will grow out of it the way we did.

We at Holofy using Freshteam for more than 2 years now, It is a great product to manage our recruitment system. The problems that are being solved by using the product - Recruitment Life cycle Interview Feedback sharing and capturing. Integration for 3rd party candidate evaluation forms/products. Employees documents management. Generating recruitment pipeline reports Overall this is a great product for Mid to large scale companies for an affordable price

  • Integration with 3rd party evaluation products like Hacker-Earth.
  • Powerful Report generation.
  • Few more features can be added - Like Time management.
  • Should work on mobile application.
It is a very great product for the generation of customised reports according to the requirement of the stakeholders, can be easily integrated with google calendar to add interview invitations but a few things needs to be improved such as adding new features like timekeeping and performance management. Rest the product is very much effective and value for the money.

Best case Scenarios: Easy to use and well suited for small to mid-cap industries. It's will become very easy to maintain a team with these features of Freshteam. Less Appropriate scenarios: It's less appropriate for large industries or companies with many employees. It becomes difficult maintaining lots of people on Freshteam.

Our company uses Freshteam to optimize our recruiting. It has been such a lifesaver, especially with the current labor shortage. We really only use it for hiring, so I can't say much about the HR features, but it has made my life much easier.

Our entire school used it for hiring. We hire using committees so it is easy to keep all notes, hiring questions, and ratings organized for everyone involved at each stage of the process.
  • Moving interviews through each stage. It helps keep you stay organized and no one falls through the cracks.
  • Communicating with people through the Freshteam email is easy and again it helps guide interviews through the process. It also reminds you to follow up with people when they will not move forward to the next stage.
  • The hiring manager can log in and see the progress and notes at all times. You can also load your different interview questions in so the entire hiring committee can have everything in one place.
I think Freshteam can be used in all hiring scenarios.

Freshteam is being used by our company to be able to manage our team members, and is especially helpful for the hiring and onboarding process. Before using this tool, much of our work was all over and extremely unorganized, but after using this tool we began to have a place to keep everything all in one place and more organized.

Freshteam is a great HR software that our team uses for assistance in hiring and bringing on new members. It is just being used by a select few in our company who are involved in the HR process and not by everyone. It helps us to address to issue of keeping all onboarding documents in one place and simplifying the process for us and our team, as well as new hires.

Freshteam is used by our entire organization, however in different levels, of course. For our collaborators, it's the portal to go for asking leave days (holidays, medical absences, and related day offs), vacations, and check up on their current profiles. For us senior mangers, it's also the portal for posting job requisitions, tracking interviews and keeping a talent pool for future selection and recruitment. We also keep track of our personnel's profiles, including ranks, skills and training paths.

  • More integration with 3rd Party applications.
  • More options for Government benefits and regulations.
  • More integrations with Calendar solutions.
Freshteam is excellent for small and medium-sized companies. It does an impeccable yet simple job at recruiting and onboarding-offboarding collaborators, and also for handling time-offs. It does have room for improvements, though, once the employees are onboard: aspects such as benefits handling, keeping track of trainings and learning paths in a comprehensive way, and integrations with other solutions (such as Government-issued or -hosted system).

It was very useful for our organization as it helps tracking the interview and hire great people. It saves time and makes things easy for our human resources team to manage also and manage the employee data. Easy to use and update all employee information in Freshteam.
  • Smooth onboarding is very cool as in on click you can send out documents to sign, forms to fill and more it making things so easy.
  • Hiring process: it makes things easy for our human resources team.
  • Easy to use.
  • Time off management is very good but it just needs to be a little easier to use.
  • Being able to send hiring documents for many people.
I would highly recommend it. Freshteam has everything we need to move candidates through the hiring process, and at a fair price. Ease of use, setup, intuitive settings and user friendly dashboards. Very little explanation needed for this product. Freshteam covers pretty much everything our team needs so I would highly recommend it.

FreshTeam is used by one department at a small non-profit to help us recruit & hire interns year round. Prior to FreshTeam, we were using Google Sheets and email. FreshTeam has helped us streamline workflow by >40%!

I have used the free version of Freshteam to evaluate it for our organization's recruitment team. Since then, we have used some other software, but we miss some of the features of Freshteam which help us do better with employee recruitment.
  • Job Posting, even on our carrier's websites. Also embedding jobs in various portals.
  • Importing candidates and assigning to jobs.
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Making to-do tasks
  • Our recruitment team can make conversation with candidates directly on the platform.
  • Open dashboard which gives quick info about all the job posts.
  • Pipeline feature by which we can streamline the various steps in a recruitment.
  • Pipeline features need to be improved so that we can map out our recruitment process onto the platform.
  • Can we get options for embedding a carrier's web page into our existing website, to show all of our published jobs?
  • Implementing a simple UI to push our job into third party websites, or an API which helps us find most known job portals.
  • We need some assessment features for various jobs, including mine, so it will also a necessary part of every recruitment application.
It is best for an organization with a less standard employee recruitment structure, who also have a limited need for automation. It will support all basic features, like job posting, importing candidates to the job, scheduling interviews, and assigning tasks for candidate interviews.
