  • Make sure your data is accurate and clean before you start because correcting it takes a lot of time.
  • Make sure to do a lengthy pilot and get feed back from all parties before making your final design templates. Don't rush
  • Separate locations, divisions, buildings into separate PBX's/Departments/Locations to make bill analysis and support easier
  • Make sure you have an extremely detail oriented person reviewing the data and configs for inconsistencies.

Fuze is fairly easy to implement. If you are needing their help then good luck. You are better off implementing on your own unless you actually get a good project manager from Fuze that can assist. I was lucky enough to get a good one when we implemented some extra sites.

The implementation of Fuze was seamless and easy. However, it was a bit challenging for training tenured employees since they got used to the old ways. Overall, this technology removes clutter on desks and is cheaper than maintaining hard phones.

The Fuze implementation did a great job on boarding our company to the new system. While the number porting process was very complex Fuze was able to simplify the process to end-users making it appear seamless. At the end of our implementation, I recommend Fuze provide the customer a CSR of all the phone records to ensure the company names and addresses match up. A clean CSR is critical to the mobility of your company-owned phone numbers.

I don't have much here. The software was easy to use and simple to understand. I feel like there was a little frustration over calls not being recorded but I didn't see that personally. From what I know the implementation went smoothly and there were not any problems. We liked using the software.

It was a long time ago and Thinking Phones (as Fuze was called then) did a good job customizing the system to meet our needs and behave somewhat like the PBX we were replacing. The overall onboarding process was efficient and went smoothly. More training would have been helpful, especially as it relates to system administration.

If you are planning on moving pre-existing desk phones (specifically Polycom) to Fuze, be prepared to manually factory reset each and every phone. We were not informed of this initially when in discussions with sales. Fuze does integrate nicely with Azure AD for SSO, which greatly eases administrative and implementation burdens if you are already using AAD.

The implementation process was satisfactory overall. We experienced some staff turnover that delayed our process and was eventually picked up. The process guide was straightforward. There were some incumbent errors with product allocation from our initial dataset that took a while to address to completion.

The implementation of our contact center was abysmal, with limited support where express directions were often disregarded. Just make sure you put an out in your contract, or they will hold you to the terms, regardless of their product functioning the way it was sold.

Personally, I didn't have any trouble getting started with Fuze. It was installed on my computer on my first day and I was good to go! Little to no hiccups. I was not with the company when they first adapted Fuze so I can not speak to the implementation as a whole.

We replace all global phone systems with Fuze. This included countries with challenging or strict Telecom laws and regulations. If a pure web/cloud-based offering is not possible, they can set up a local "gateway" device to connect Fuze to a local phone circuit.

We were using Skype for Bussiness (formerly Lync) but we had some integrations issues. When we migrated to Fuze the transition was smooth and has less and all previous bugs were gone. I could say migrating to Fuze was a win to win :)

The Fuze implementation team worked for hand in hand with our IT group to seamlessly deploy Fuze companywide. The Fuze team came prepared and had a firm understanding of our business to accurately design the system to work how we intended. We deployed across multiple sites and experienced no issues or downtime during the transition process. I cannot speak highly enough about Fuze's implementation team.

I didn't get to assist with the implementation of Fuze at my current job, however I was able to assist in the implementation of Fuze at my former position and that was a complete mess. The scheduled date of turnup for the location I was at almost didn't happen, bc Fuze transition team fell through and the implementation team didn't pick up it up due to a mishandled handover. So when we finally got Fuze support team on the line it was in the afternoon after waiting all morning, then we started having issues with the system that we started to work out into later afternoon.

In 2017 we implemented Fuze. I have 40 people remote and 40 in office. I ordered all the phones, and they came when promised. I shipped out the other 40 after getting our settings on them. We imported all phone numbers from old carrier. We added 100 new numbers. Fuze engineer and my engineer made all the VOIP changes on server. I was in charge of getting every user able to use their phone. It was a huge project and it came off without a hitch. The team at Fuze knows how to prepare for a huge install.
My manager was freaking out about the whole thing, but I personally felt so confident. The day we went live was very smooth.
Our business is making calls. My whole upper management was pins and needles wondering if I could handle this large project. Fuze was with me the whole time, and I was not stressed much at all. The biggest stress was getting my users to figure out the difference between router and modem.

I wasn’t apart of the implementation, but I heard it was painful and a little rough. After I took over, I noticed lots of stuff half put together and not in use. I eventually went in and cleaned it all up, but it wasn’t the most fun process.

Our implementation would have gone smoother if our implementation contact wasn't located overseas, and if the company that we needed to set up our SIP trunk communication was better, which failed probably due to the different in time zones. It took an additional month for us to complete implementation due to these issues.

The implementation went quickly and relatively smoothly. We transitioned from Skype for Business to Fuze, and the User Interface for Fuze is intuitive and easy to learn. There was a small learning curve especially for employees that are less tech-savvy, but with some tutorials from our IT department, everyone was able to get it working very quickly.
