Use Cases and Deployment Scope
GoHire provides my company with the way to list current job offerings, set up interviews and line up potential candidates, then simplifies the selection process. The big problem it helps us address is listing jobs and staying on top of whereabouts you list them. We tried using Facebook, then WordPress to list job openings however they seem to get buried in the media feed. GoHire allows an easy, simple stopping point to contain all our job offers in one place.
Pros
  • Organizing and listing of openings at companies
  • Tracking potential candidates
  • Following up with potential candidates and creating shortlists
Cons
  • Integration with third party software such as WordPress is lacking
  • Didn't really have too many other major issues with the software
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need to hire one person then the software is a bit overkill for you. If you are looking to hire multiple people in different departments and would like to schedule interviews with multiple candidates, then this would be a good win for you. My company is a circus company, so we have to list multiple jobs often. This allows us to track those jobs and the people with ease.

  • Time is money. This software allows us to streamline the process of listing and reviewing candidates.
  • The software allowed us to better see a "Birdseye" view of all the applicants that we have, to make more informed hiring decisions.
Alternatives Considered
We used to list our jobs in a WordPress post and then share those posts to social media. Candidates would respond by emails or by filling out an online form. We opted to upgrade to GoHire as we can list all our jobs in one place and provide a link on WordPress to our overall job board. This is saving us time and money, as it reduces the search that need to happen to find candidates emails or submitted forms.
