Google Ads is well-suited for organizations seeking to utilize Search Engine Marketing as a medium for increasing brand awareness, promoting direct response marketing offers, achieving & sustaining ROAS (i.e. Return on Advertising Spend) or ROI (i.e. Return on Investment) via an online mechanism, generating highly-qualified online leads via website or phone call traffic, and scaling an organization's business or revenue growth.

Content management for the development of advertising in the Google search engine. Not applicable and loses effectiveness in other search engines where your paid advertising does not reach.

Google Ads Problems

If you are a big corporation and do not care about how much money to spend to get your name out there then google may be for you. If you are small business with limited budget, as google will tell you, you may get a lot of clicks and impressions but when it comes to customers calling your place, there is a lot be be desired. I was told twice by Google that if I spend $500 in ads, they will credit me another $500 to use for ads. Both times they used some excuse to get out of paying the credit.

If you are planning to acquire new customers / reach your high-intent target demographics, Google Ads is your go-to tool for running ad campaigns on Google Search. You can experiment with lower budgets and then scale up if it performs for you. You can also run Youtube ads using this tool.

Misleading Customer Service Staff - I was given advice that cost my business thousands of dollars on useless clicks and calls that didn't relate to my business. Seems my 'Account Manager' was only interested in increasing revenue for Google NOT helping my Business. I've tried contacting Customer Service....5 Days later I'm still waiting. Very unhappy.

Well suited for: Businesses that want to hit the ground running and get immediate exposure Complementing other SEM strategies Businesses who want to move away from traditional media advertising Geotargeting - businesses who need to target prospects in specific areas only Scheduling - businesses who want to show ads to prospects only @ certain times or days Businesses who want to drive phone calls Less suited for: Businesses that are selling products that no one is looking for Businesses who can't generate a positive ROI Businesses that don't have a good offer Businesses that don't have a good landing page to send prospects to. If targeted traffic can't convert, even if the product is good, don't spend the money on AdWords.

I would suggest using the Google Ads for the businesses where search volume is high and prospecting users already know what to expect when searching for a product or services by typing in a keywords on Google. I would not recommend Google Ads for business where the search volume or the product is not so popular or familiar among the target users as having no keyword volume might hurt the performance

It is good to get ads out to existing clients, spread the word, and reach specific, targeted audiences. Sometimes it isn't the best for finding net new clients and reaching audiences that you didn't specifically think to target but are still relevant.

Google Ads are great for companies looking to drive traffic, sales, etc that have the budget to bid on certain keywords. The platform can give small to medium size companies a chance against larger ones. One scenario where Ads may not work is for smaller businesses who don't have the budget to bid on certain keywords because the CPC is too expensive.

If you are a small business looking to get started in digital advertising, Google Ads is a great product because there is no additional cost to license the technology - you simply pay when users click on your ads and are redirected to your website. Google also provides a wealth of training and tutorial content to get you up and running. While the Google Ads platform is suitable for small businesses, it is also a technology that can scale with your organization. Our agency manages millions of media dollars in Google Ads, and many mid-market to enterprise brands manage the Google Ads platform in-house. If you are a small business getting started in Google Ads, you need to invest the time to learn the system because you will receive little to no support from Google's account management department.

I wouldn't recommend this application to anyone who didn't already know how to use it. You will waste a lot of money and time before realizing how important negative keywords are at stopping waste because nobody from Google / Alphabet ever mentions it. Anytime you have a problem, good luck reaching someone who is more than a message taker, and who has good communication skills.

We specialized in working with clients within the healthcare industry. As you can imagine, people are always searching for new doctors, dentists, offices, etc. Using Google Ads, we were able to target specific regions, or online searches, that allowed for the businesses we were advertising on behalf of to pull up first in a Google Keyword Search.

Everyone Googles things, and showing up at the top of that page is crucial to getting the leads you are looking for. If you are looking for awareness, Google Display does that. There is a benefit to seeing an ad, even if it's not clicked on (of course, we all want the clicks, though). For eCommerce, there are also product feeds. Literally a ton of reasons to use Google Ads.

Clients who are selling products such as dresses, clothes, jewelry, beauty products, etc., generally work well. Also, in some cases, it doesn't fetch a good ROAS for very small business owners. If a client is already doing well in SEO, the probability for it to perform well over Google Ads is always enhanced, and if it doesn't have a good organic reach, Google Ads also suffers.

Google's search and ad network reach is huge, and having the tools to precisely target you audiences at the right moment and place is invaluable for a successful marketing strategy. From branding to performance objectives, it has a huge array of options to create and optimize campaigns.

If you are looking to generate some traffic desperately, Google Ads is the best solution. You don't have to wait for the organic traffic. Google will suggest the best title and description so that it will be helpful for potential customers and us to know more before clicking. Companies that have a fixed budget can use Google Ads with maximum trust.

Some clients don't understand the audience bidding for keywords so there is a bit of a learning curve to get started. If you aren't aware of certain settings then it can be easy to waste money and not receive the results you want. It's easy to scale your marketing and campaigns up or down as your business grows.

Google Ads is an essential buying platform for all e-commerce businesses to promote their products and drive sales. Smart Shopping Campaigns have improved significantly over the last 2-3 years. Through the "Maximize revenue" bid strategy, it became more efficient to utilize compared to standard campaigns in terms of return on ad spend and the time needed to manage and optimize.

It is very well suited towards B2C products where the target audiences are already expressing a good amount of interest in a specific product. However, it seems to be less effective for increasing the visibility of a new or lesser known companies. Also since, it could be pretty expensive for companies with lower budget that have to compete with large corporations.
