  • Positive marketing campaign feedback - we're able to see what works and what doesn't work in campaigns, so we can design better tests in future efforts
  • Statistically significant data to help understand consumer trends
  • Optimizes our team's time management capabilities, as we can all access and monitor GA metrics to help advance our efforts faster.

  • Allows us to share the most relevant data in the most clear way on our sites. We see what our customers are looking for and can make it the feature or easier to get to.
  • Our sites are often the first place our customers go and it allows us to capture their interest and know ahead of time what most visitors are looking for.
  • Also allows us to get direct feedback on our marketing campaigns to see how well each has done and what works best. Meaning we spend less time an energy on the wrong places, and more on what is getting us the most return.

  • Fracturing of teams because they are no longer talking to the data team.
  • Increased interest in data and the nice looking Google Analytics reports.

  • Google Analytics has helped the company I work for determine what channels needed improvement, and I created copy and content (infographics, videos, etc.) to help increase organic and referral traffic to specific landing pages and sections on our website.
  • With Google Analytics, I can analyze the landing pages that are getting the most conversions based on our pay-per-click advertising efforts. When pages are seeing good results, we increase our budget. When they are performing poorly, we adjust our messaging accordingly.
  • Google Analytics saves me an immense amount of time. I am often asked to pull reports, some of them that are quite robust, and I can do this quickly with Google Analytics.

  • We definitely have seen an increase in the lead conversion time with Google Analytics.
  • We see more customers that are looking through the site and have a longer duration on our site.
  • Time consuming to set up and familiarize, but easy to use going forward.

  • Google Analytics (GA) has a googol of features, but it takes time and effort to find, understand, and set them up. Go for it, but do some internet reading to help you.
  • Hey, it's free. Even if you're just trying it out, free is nice. I often use GA in parallel with a commercial tool to self check results
  • Beware the SEO algorithm updates! With any tool like GA, changes to the way Google does search listings and implementations can drastically effect your reports and results. Before you panic about large drops in traffic, do your homework to see if it's real or SEO changes.

  • Google Analytics has allowed our team to identify high volume webpages with low conversion rates and/or high bounce rates, then conduct A/B experiments on such pages, and ultimately improve ROI and the user experience.
  • Google Analytics has helped us greatly when launching new digital marketing campaigns. We can see site traffic and conversion activity in real-time, allowing us to rectify any problems and make necessary optimizations to help improve ROI right away.
  • Google Analytics makes it easy to conduct year-over-year analyses, which every part of our company uses in order to forecast the necessary resources and finances for strategic business planning.

  • We use Google Analytics to track the "health" of our websites and the success of email campaigns. It is a very useful tool, with a few challenges. However, the fact that it is a free tool has been very helpful since we are only sacrificing our time to collect these reports and no additional resources.

  • You've got to know GA inside and out. If you stay focused on actionable recommendations rather than just reporting you will be a long way towards building success for your clients.
  • Google can spotcheck your sales/leads funnel. Set it up. Check it. Refine your process. See if you see the results you want.
  • The ROI on GA is up to you. But don't rely too heavily on GA's sales funnel reporting. You'll need to pull the numbers into excel to do some heavy evaluations.
