Google Analytics does not have a dedicated Support team. We had to use 3rd-party companies for Google Analytics technical support. However, we understand the support issue since we are not paying any money for support.

I have not personally interacted with Google support for Google Analytics, so I cannot give an accurate rating here. However, from the times that I have used other support aspects of Google, I have often had a hard time getting ahold of a live person and have not heard back promptly from other support emails I have reached out to. It seems like you need some kind of special package you buy in order to get full support.

There is no support if you are on the free version. I believe there is if you upgrade, but in my opinion, the entire appeal and only reason to use Google Analytics is if you are saving money. If you decide to fork out the cash on a tool, you may as well check into Adobe Analytics pricing.

When we were still beginners we were able to call the local Google hotline to ask for initial support and set up. After that, we never feel the need to ask support anymore because we have our own site performance consultant.

We have not used the Google Analytics support services. If we were, I would have one simple question to ask and that is how do we connect our Google Analytics account to a digital marketing service? A company we work with has been trying to do this for years and we have simply given up.

Admittedly, I haven't needed much support over the years with GA. It pretty much works. When there have been problems, it was problems on our end that had to be corrected. But, Google is historically tough to connect with, so that's why my middling rating.

Google has reached out many times proactively to give tips. They are very proactive. We have an AdWords account with them and they frequently check-in with us to see how things are going and make suggestions. We sometimes use these calls to discuss GA-related topics too.
