At our organization, we use Google Classroom as an essential tool for managing our educational activities. The product addresses business problems related to paper reduction and environmental sustainability, as it allows us to digitize assignments and submissions. The scope of our use case revolves around creating, distributing, and collecting assignments, facilitating real-time communication, and streamlining the grading process. Google Classroom also integrates with other Google Workspace tools, enhancing our productivity and collaboration within the organization.
  • Streamlined assignment management.
  • Seamless communication with students.
  • Efficient grading and feedback process.
  • Limited Integration with External Tools
  • Enhanced Customization Options
  • Advanced Grading Features
Well-suited scenarios:
1) Google Classroom is ideal for traditional classrooms, offering easy assignment management and communication between teachers and students.
2) It excels in remote learning and online classes, providing a centralized platform for virtual classrooms and seamless engagement.
3) Google Classroom is perfect for promoting group projects and collaborative assignments, enabling teamwork and file-sharing.
4) It efficiently manages homework and assessments, simplifying the grading process and providing timely feedback.

Less appropriate scenarios:
1) Google Classroom may not be the best fit for advanced assessments with complex grading criteria or specialized testing requirements.
2) For large-scale institutions, dedicated Learning Management Systems (LMS) might better accommodate extensive administrative needs and scalability.
3) While adaptable for employee training, businesses with specific training requirements may benefit from more comprehensive LMS platforms.
4) In areas with limited internet access, alternative offline solutions might be more suitable to ensure continuous learning opportunities.

Use nearly daily in my classroom for in class assignments and hybrid learning. Rather than having to maintain copies of notes and extra assignments for absent students. Being linked with out LMS also makes grading super easy as I can comment and grade assignments right in Classroom and migrate grades into our system with one click.
  • Comments on student work.
  • Sharing assignments with students
  • Migrating grades to school system
  • Doesn't integrate will with non Google file types.
  • Work is lost of student leaves class.
  • Cannot edit share settings after posting assignment.
Great for k-12 applications, but may not be robust enough for some post-secondary applications that may require more content specific programs. When a specific program is needed and that program is not made by Google it likely won't work on classroom and will simply have a link to the other website.

The first time, our teachers introduced Google Classroom. The easy-to-use and clean UI makes the software more usable. We used to run our classes through Google Classroom. It allows you to conduct the class on time, and the reminder feature is just awesome. - We use the product to track the syllabus and classes. - The integration with Google Products is seamless. Nothing to worry about or switch to other apps. - Get notifications on new assignments or get marking for those assignments. - Integration with Calendar allows the user never to forget any deadline or timetable.
  • Clean and Simple User Interface makes the productivity fast.
  • Has built-in third-party apps as well as a huge library of Google built-in plugins like plagiarism checker.
  • Good Multi Device support.
  • Sharing and Collaboration between the students and teachers is good.
  • The content management of the Classroom is not that good. The sub-section for notes, syllabus, or discussion is missing.
  • It doesn't have parental control feature.
  • It converts the excel output into a normal file. All the formulas and pivots got changed into plain text.
- During the pandemic, the college needs a fast and easy solution to conduct Google Classroom. The integration with Google Accounts and Google Meet allows the university to run and access the Classroom on a large scale. - The teacher wants to conduct some exams in third-party software like Moodle. But we have not found any plugin for this famous open-source learning platform. The exam system in Google Classroom is so poor that it doesn't even fully screen the test when students are writing their exams.

I used Google Classroom for educational purposes.
I used Google Classroom for posting assignments.
I used Google Classroom for reviewing students' copies.
Problem that Google Classroom is solving is bringing student-teacher interaction classer.
  • Virtual discussion - It provide discussion section for every post.
  • Sharing Resources - It provide resource sharing option.
  • Assignment Q&A - We can post Assignment in google classroom.
  • Plagiarism checker- It does not work properly.
  • Google Classroom system allows teachers to grade with authenticity and doesn't provide only one grade for a particular document or assignment.
  • It does have its own limitations in terms of how students see the information.
Google Classroom is best suited for online managing classes where teachers can publish assignments and relevant documents to the class.

Google Classroom serves as our academic management system for the whole university's campus. Each professor has their own Google Classroom, and every student gets online access to all of their classes using Google Classroom. Students are extremely comfortable with how Google Classroom works, and teachers can segments and sub and access all student activity.
  • Google Classroom is a great website for managing and organizing learning. i
  • It is simple to use for interface.
  • It interacts with a wide range of apps and websites; effortlessly shares, collects, and grades Google Workspace documents.
  • The young students, they usually need an adult to read tabs for them to understand; a totally visual interface would be better.
  • Using an application on a mobile device causes some lagging.
  • Not all applications make it simple to assign assignments using Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is one of the most effective and user-friendly online learning platforms for distance learning. It is a digital learning that is considerably more simple, inexpensive, and accessible for teachers, students, parents, and administrators alike. It's free, utilizes Google services like Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, making Google Classroom simple to use and easy to share information, and helps ease student work evaluation. Up to this point, I haven't had any issues with it; I always find it simple to use but for the young students, they usually need an adult to read tabs for them to understand; a totally visual interface would be better.

Google Classroom is our educational managing system for the entire middle school on campus. Each teacher manages their own Google Classroom, and every student has access to all of their classes online via Google Classroom. Students are very familiar with the workings of Google Classroom and teachers are able to micro-manage and access all student activities. As a team lead, I am able to see all middle school classes in the event I have to problem solve.
  • Teachers have immediate access to all student assignments.
  • Live feedback and gradebook syncing.
  • Real time announcements.
  • Google calendar syncing to keep students on top of due dates.
  • There is definitely a learning curve and students benefit from explicit instructions
Google Classroom has completely changed my classroom, especially through remote learning. I'm not sure how my students would have survived received an education through COVID without it. I am able to upload directions, assignments, announcements, etc. immediately to ensure all students have access. I can see what students are changing on documents in live time, give them live feedback, and they immediately receive their grade back. It has even supported their social interactions by allowing them to comment and post to eachother!

Our district is currently using Google Classroom as an educational platform for face-to-face learning, hybrid learning, and distance learning. Google Classroom is an easy-to-use way to push assignments to students and record grades. Teachers are able to assign multiple avenues of learning in one spot for the students to access. Google Classroom not only gives you realtime data, keeps up with missing assignments, and grades assignments, but it also gives you a private spot to conference with the students about lessons and let the students collaborate with each other other on assignments.
  • Organizes information by topics for user-friendly access
  • Grade assignments for students, giving them instant feedback
  • Works with so many other educational websites, making linking assignments easy!
  • Checklist within the topics for the teacher to mark off assignments the students have finished
  • Automatic notice to students when they have missing work or assignments due
  • Teacher dashboard for a quick glance at the week or day (grades, assignments, class progress, etc.)
Google Classroom is best suited in any class situation! I have taught hybrid, face-to-face, and distance this year and used Google Classroom every step of the way! It has been very easy for my middle/upper elementary students to get used to using daily. I would definitely think with practice that even the very young grades could use it daily.

Google Classroom is used as a content management system in our institution, since our institution is an engineering college that carves professionals, we use this application for helping our students to attend online classes with the help of Google Meet which is integrated in Google Classroom. With the help of this platform we deliver notes, provide them assignments, conduct online tests, etc. Our college has five departments, and for every subjects in each department we are keeping different Google Classrooms.
  • If we register Google Classroom with our organization's mail ID we can use the integrated Google Meet for conducting online meetings, online classes, etc, but if we are using our personal mail ID for creating a classroom then we need G-Suite for setting up Google Meet.
  • We can perform different online classwork like assignments, quizzes, and also we can conduct online exams with a proper grading system.
  • Each of the classrooms created will be associated with a separate class code, we can simply share this class code to the students and with the help of this code they can easily join our class. Another method is we can add students by manually entering their mail ID.
  • The default integration of Google Meet is absent if we are creating the classroom using our personal mail ID, and for integration we need G-Suite and we need to pay for it.
  • The UI could be little more appealing, since the existing platform uses very simple and basic UI.
  • Uninterrupted internet connection is required for proper working.
If we are considering an educational institution, Google Classroom could be a perfect choice as a content management system. It is not required to pay for using this platform since it is a free service given by Google for educational systems. It is not suited as a human resource management systems (HRMS), since it is purely built as an LMS/CMS.

We use Google Classroom every day in the classroom and it has become increasingly more helpful and important now that we must do digital learning from home. It makes assigning, correcting and commenting on work so much easier. It also allows sharing messages to one, or multiple classes, which is helpful right now as well.
  • Communicating with students
  • Correcting work
  • Grading
  • Maybe update the look of it, appears a little old.
  • I can’t make a document for everyone after I have posted it so I have to delete it and start over.
  • Can be glitchy at times.
This is well suited for individualized learning, small classes, big classes, and everything in between. It is easy to use and the kids enjoy it. I appreciate that I can do discussion and assign projects to certain students and not others. I also enjoy that I am able to access all my drive documents from this one site and add them and distribute them to my students at one time.

We use Google Classroom in our faculty to share notes with students who are absent and to ensure that official notifications of assessment tasks are delivered to students simultaneously, even if they are not present to receive hard copies due to illness or other factors affecting their attendance. The main problem it solves for me is a sure guarantee that students have access to resources when they need them.
  • It allows me to share files with all of my students regardless of their location.
  • It notifies my students via email when I share a resource or file with them.
  • It allows me to verify the time and date of the release of information.
  • I don't seem to get email notification when my students post into the classroom.
  • The ability to record voice and/or video messages easily and directly into Google classroom would be great. I would love to be able to stream and store my lessons in Google Classroom!
It's ideal for sharing resources with students. It is less appropriate for classes that need intensive explicit teaching of concepts because it lacks a convenient way to record video.

Google Classroom is used just as the title suggests - it's a classroom within a classroom. Teachers create virtual classrooms for each class period and post assignments, create discussions, assign homework just like they would do in a regular classroom. Only with Google Classroom, it is done in virtual space, which allows for everyone - even students with attendance issues - to be an active participant in the class.
  • It allows for collaboration between students in virtual space that mimics that of the real classroom.
  • Allows for a variety of tools (i.e., educational apps) to be listed for use by students in one centralized space.
  • It is connecting to the district's learning management system to make the grade transfer process easy.
  • They are making it easier for parents/guardians to sign up for the account and monitor student learning.
Google Classroom is well suited for all modern educators because it allows us to stay current with technological advancements in the times we live in. Our students are more tech-savvy than ever, with phones and tablets persistent in the classrooms. Our students are online more often than they are offline, and to reach them, we need to get our classrooms online, which is precisely what Google Classroom does.

I use Google Classroom on a daily basis with my students. They are able to log in and check their work. In addition, I assign them various tasks to complete. My team teacher and I work together to keep track of the students' work. The students are able to check their progress and even work from home as needed. I love using this platform in my teaching.
  • Access to the work from home or at school
  • Work can be graded from home or at work.
  • Not all programs make it easy to assign through Google Classroom.
  • Some students do not have technology at home to access the Classroom.
Google Classroom works well in my classroom for students who need to be able to work independently. Students who do not have technology at home can struggle to complete all the work. Google Classroom is also a great tool when I have a substitute teacher, because I can create and monitor assignments while not in the classroom. Students can be independent and work.

My entire school district, which consists of 30+ elementary, middle, and high schools, uses Google Classroom to manage student materials and assignments. Our students and teachers all have individual accounts for Google Classroom that allow us to share and organize classroom materials. Google Classroom helps eliminate the need for paper copies of materials and assignments and also makes doing or grading work convenient since these materials and assignments can be accessed anywhere there’s an internet connection. As a teacher, I love not having to carry stacks of essays with me everywhere I go. I also love that Google Classroom archives everything so I can always go back to a student’s work.
  • Allows individual “classrooms” or groups to be made to manage different groups of individuals.
  • Makes adding materials and documents easy by pulling easily from Google Drive.
  • I’d like to be able to schedule assignments for three different groups at once instead of having to go into each classroom individually.
  • It would be nice for the chat feature to be able to be turned off by the teacher/administrator on shared documents.
  • Perfect for classroom use when sharing materials that all students will need.
  • The quiz mode is great to use when trying to keep students from getting other websites during assessments.
  • It’s great that as a teacher I can always check in on the progress of my students as they work on an assignment.

Google Classroom is part of the educational suite of products our district uses. It allows for seemless collaboration between teachers and students. It provides a real-time platform for sharing information and with the available extensions it even allows for easy review and grading of assignments. It is an invaluable tool that is cost-effective.
  • Seemless collaboration
  • Ease of grading
  • Uploading of documents can be glitchy when using Google Docs.
  • Classroom management tools could be improved.
It works great in the educational or training environment. It may be less suites for other cooperate uses.

Google Classroom is currently being used in several of our classrooms throughout our school, but mostly in the classrooms grades 5-8. We use it for our students to access some assignments and to communicate with the students. It provides them with updates to the curriculum as soon as a change is made.
  • It gives us a good way for the students and teachers to communicate.
  • Keeps class content ordered.
  • Easy to set up.
  • Have to manually transfer grades to the school's gradebook.
  • The interface could be designed a little better.
Google classroom works well in most classroom settings. Any time where there is a need for one person to communicate with several other people is probably where google classroom could be incorporated. It's mainly designed for the classroom setting, though. It could also work if you were hosting a workshop where you wanted people to access your handouts and then turn them back in.

Google Classroom is used as the learning management system for students in all grades in my school district. Google Classroom can also be used by adults for Professional Development. Google Classroom allows teachers to post information and resources for students. Students complete learning activities and post their work on Google Classroom for the teacher to evaluate their work. Students can also communicate with each other on Google Classroom.
  • Posting course materials.
  • Allow students to complete graded activities.
  • Monitor student progress.
  • Have a profanity filter.
  • Have suggested resources for teachers to post based on the class content.
Google Classroom is well suited for ANY class setting from Kindergarten through adult learning because it is versatile and can easily be adapted by the instructor. If teachers wish to assess student work, the work is easily in front of the instructor for efficient grading. Students can collaborate with each other and post their thoughts about course content.

Google Classroom has been my learning management system for all the classes I teach (Digital Design, Web Design, AP Computer Science Principles, and even my dual enrollment Foundations of Web Development) for three years. It is not used by the entire high school where I teach, but I know some other teachers at the school who choose to use it.
  • Google Classroom is easy for both the students and teacher to learn to use
  • Google Classroom has the ability to store previous classes in the archives, so I can reuse content
  • I can easily link worksheets from Google Docs and tests from Google Forms into assignment posts
  • Google Classroom sends my students emails whenever I post a new assignment for grade an existing one
  • I would like there to be a more complex gradebook, that lets students see their total grade in the class and allows me to create weighted categories (there was a Beta gradebook released recently, which I have not explored yet. Perhaps this is included there)
I use Google Classroom for all of the classes I teach at my high school. I'm in a computer lab, but Google Classroom could also be used for teachers who do not have computers for students to use in class. It allows me to post announcements, assignments, worksheets, online resources, quizzes, and pretty much anything class-related in an easy-to-use interface. However, it currently does not include a very detailed gradebook. I have to keep separate spreadsheets with my students' grades in order to use weighted categories.

Google Classroom is being used by schools and individual teachers in our organization. Currently, I use it in my own classroom to post assignments, links, and easily share items online with students. I also use it to allow students to turn in assignments and easily grade progress. Google classroom also allows me to connect my roster with other websites to easily sign students up for other online programs.
  • It has an easy, user-friendly format for students and teachers.
  • It allows for teachers to upload a variety of assignments.
  • The format helps students and teachers stay organized in multiple classes and assignments.
  • I wish it was easier for students to pick and upload which type of Google document they want to use for a particular assignment.
  • Sometimes it takes a long time for a student's new document to be created or it isn't there when they create it. So they have to refresh the page and click on the document again.
  • I wish you could upload an assignment right from the stream like in the past rather than having to go into the classwork tab.
Google classroom is well suited for a 3rd grade and up classroom. It is especially well suited for middle and high school where students are more well-versed in using technology. It allows teachers to easily share assignments with students and grade those assignments quickly and without paper. It might not be as useful in classrooms that do not have 1:1 technology, as it would be harder for students to finish assignments on time.

Google Classroom is an integral part of our school district's educational initiatives. By integrating this technology, students extend what they learn far beyond the classroom and continue the conversation before, during, and after the school hours are through. By posting specific assignments, as well as allowing students to converse in the same platform, everyone can find a chosen level of participation in which they feel heard, understood, and accepted.
  • The user interface is wonderful. Updates are streamlined, without changing the functionality of the site.
  • The website's design is beautiful. The colors and themes are eye-catching, and keep students engaged with their unique layout.
  • Using this portion of Google tools in connection with the rest of the Google platform is seamless. Connecting Docs, Slides, and other Google tools requires no real training before use.
  • You must have a Google login, and some companies do not use this platform.
  • Sharing between classes can be easy, but editing posts and creating assignments are more difficult to change.
  • Moderating your content for students is easy, but moderating content that other collaborators share is not as easy.
Google Classroom is suitable for any classroom setting from grades 3 to the collegiate level. Students are easily and quickly engaged and can maintain communication with teachers beyond normal teaching hours. Students can submit their work and receive grades directly on the site, and they are able to share resources with others for group projects or other collaborative settings.

Our entire organization, Blair Oaks High School, uses Google Classroom. We use it in many ways, including content instruction, event planning, and organizing groups and extracurricular activities. It is easy to use, simple, quick, and makes teachers' and students' lives easier. Teachers and students can collaborate with each other electronically with each other. Teachers can use it to facilitate learning, share with students, organize the work students complete, provide quick formative and summative feedback for students, allow students to collaborate with each other, and easily integrate other platforms of the G-Suite.
  • Allows teachers to share material with one, multiple, or all students at one time.
  • Also allows teachers to schedule the time that items post. The entire site is very customizable.
  • Teachers can integrate other G-Suite applications easily with Classroom. For example, teachers can create and assign a Google Form as a formative or summative quiz for students on Google Classroom.
  • Organizing class documents and assignments is very easy because Google Classroom automatically creates separate folders in your own Google Drive.
  • Teachers used to be able to organize the stream of Classroom by topics or chapter. Currently, it is in ascending order from the most recent posts.
  • Hard to import grades from other G-Suite (like forms, etc.) into assignments on Google Classroom.
  • A possible way to improve for education would be to block students from accessing any other web pages while they are taking an assessment.
I believe Google Classroom is well-suited for any classroom in education. It is great for posting announcements, assignments, and class material. It is also a great method of online learning when an in-class session is not possible (snow days, homework to be completed at home, etc.)
It would be less appropriate in scenarios outside of education, although the means of communication are easy.

Basically, we opened a new business in our firm and that is the academy. We [offer] management consulting training to companies so that their employees will be great at data crunching, analyzing problems, synthesizing problems, and project management. It is such a great help to have Google Classroom because you can set up numerous classes and tailor-fit the learning delivery to how you would want it to be. It provides you with the option to assign tasks, give deadlines for such tasks, and the system is very helpful because it will automatically grade the learner. It makes it possible as well to share files and instructional materials with the students per group and you can use an existing gmail account for it.
  • Set up multiple classes.
  • Assign tasks and give a deadline.
  • Automatically grade the students or learners.
  • Share files to group.
  • The design is not that interesting to young learners.
  • Structure is not very attractive to young learners.
  • All of the students need to have a Gmail account.
It is well suited for online or open university learning. It is also suitable for remote tutoring, etc.

I use Google Classroom to communicate with students. I can use it to post homework, reminders, study guides, etc. I also use it for having students turn in work online. Google Classroom updated their assignment option over the summer and now there is a separate tab within Classroom for posting assignments. It also sends students reminder emails when work is due.
  • Student-teacher communication - I love using Classroom for this because my students can always go back and check what was on Classroom by looking through the stream. This way they don't have to go dig through emails to find what they're looking for.
  • Posting to multiple classes - I can post the same announcement or assignment to multiple classes at once without having to repeat the process or send separate emails.
  • Streamlining grading - when students turn work in on Classroom, it all goes to one place and then when I'm grading I can open their documents directly from Classroom or my Drive folder. This way, I'm not looking through emails and Google Doc shared files for their assignment.
  • I would love to see some more options with their quiz formatting.
  • They recently changed the look of Classroom and I don't find it quite as aesthetically appealing as it was previously.
Google Classroom is well suited to a class where you may have students turn things in digitally and/or you want to be able to push resources or info out to students, as well as assignments, all in one place. It may be less appropriate for a class where you are not having students do much digitally or where you are providing students with paper copies of everything.

We use Google Classroom in our 4th through 6th-grade classrooms. We provide students with access to resources, assignments, videos, and other classroom materials through Google Classroom. It is a great tool for us to use to help students stay up-to-date with their assignments should they be absent from school.
  • Provides an online space to organize student materials.
  • Allows us to have multiple sections setup in one place.
  • We can access Google Classroom on any network we are on.
  • It feels like something is always changing as they improve Google Classroom.
  • It would be great to be able to import grades straight into our grade book. We are able to download the grades, but then have to enter them by hand into the other program.
  • Students are not able to make edits or quick changes on assignments once they are turned in unless they first grade book the assignment. It would be great to have a feature that allowed them to edit after it is turned in.
Google Classroom has helped streamline my classroom. I am no longer bogged down by stacks of papers to read and grade. I am able to pull up my classes anywhere, I am also able to check on student progress and grade papers. I wish I would have started using it sooner.
