With Google Content Experiments it is just so quick and easy to set up an experiment. Using Google Analytics daily, it just feels wrong not to have at least one content experiment running.

Content Experiments just makes it is simple and easy to implement A|B tests. We will be evaluating other tools in search of a more robust system for multivariate and cross-page testing, such as Optimizely or Visual Website Optimizer. However, for basic testing, you can't really beat it.

As Google Content Experiments is included as part of Google Analytics it is obviously always available to GA users and is great to have as an always available backup testing tool.

Too much work is involved to get testing done efficiently. Also, our site has a large set of javascript calls already happening, and the different scripts behave weirdly on our site. Additionally, GA is not a primary source of data for us. We are typically testing to see offline impact - not online. We use our marketing automation tool to identify testing groups and see performance through our sales funnel.

The next time I have to valuate webpage performance and make changes based on SEO objectives I will use Goggle CE. The software simply leads the pack with A/B and multivariate testing tools and helps the strategic decision making process along nicely. I will look away from other software when renewal time comes.
