Google Meet

Google Meet is used by our entire organization as our tool of choice for online meetings. It gives us an easy-to-use way of conducting our meetings with internal and external counterparts. We all use Gmail so it is easy to include in our meeting invites and options to record and present are easy to use!
  • Screen sharing and presenting in one click and you can select specific windows or the entire screen
  • Record functionality is simple and the delivery straight to your email is great with Drive storage as well.
  • Chat also helps share links if needed.
Cons
  • I always find the need to share a file during the call and not being able to do that via the chat is a miss I feel.
Simple to use and great integration with email and calendar. Create links to meets on the fly if needed for a quick chat or schedule your meet with Google Calendar in a few clicks! A reliable way to communicate and supported by 95% of my contacts.

I have been using Google Meet for more than one years and i am very satisfied with the feature and the quality of the Google Meet app. In my organization, Google Meet is used for quick and constant communication on international level. Google Meet is a secure app and is also used for the knowledge based communication like webinars, conferences and much more.
  • The best and important thing in Google Meet app is that its a cloud based video conferencing software.
  • The other best thing is it is easy to use.
  • It is a reliable and and practical vedio conferencing tool on international level also.
Cons
  • use recording or live captioning
  • the common thing is manage your participants
  • the duration of a call should unlimited for this app
Google Meet is great for universities, colleges, business and other organizations. According to my experience there is no cons of this app. One of the most loved Google Meet app features is an unlimited number of meetings like we can use Google Meet to connect with anyone we like for example: family, colleagues, co-workers, friends and also online international conferences. We just need a Google account to sign in and join the meeting.

Google Hangouts Meet is used in our organisation to hold virtual meetings, especially during the 2020 quarantine period. Yes, Google [Hangouts] Meet is being used by all departments in our organisation at the different stages of production of media content where collaboration is necessary but involved parties cannot meet up in person. The business needs addressed are the need to collaborate in meetings remotely. This has saved our organisation a lot of logistics costs.
  • Supporting Remote meetings between multiple parties.
Cons
  • Not much a complaint
Google meet is well suited for 2 sceanarios in my experience;
1. Remotely collaborating in meetings for multiple parties. This feature has made it significantly simple for us to set up meetings even at odd out of office hours like sunday evenings.
2. Settng up emergency meetings. Google meets has made it increadibly simple to set up emergency meetings to sort out production issues if and when they come up. A meeting is always just but a link away.

Google Hangouts is a great way to meet with potential clients virtually. That is especially important right now, with the Covid virus still running rampant and people are unwilling to meet face to face. Google Hangouts Meet is easy to download and use. It is easy to dial into meetings with other people.
  • Ease of use is the biggest strength. Even children are able to use this app.
  • Free to download.
  • Valuable tool for meeting with people virtually right now.
Cons
  • I do not have any suggestions for improvement.
  • The app works really well as it is right now.
  • Please do not change any of the features. It functions really well.
It is well-suited for meeting virtually with clients so that you don't have to interact on a one-on-one basis while the virus is still around. I would probably prefer not to meet virtually after the virus is gone because you use a personal touch. But overall, this app is very good for virtual meetings.

Google Hangouts Meet is being used by different teams in my department as a way to communicate remotely. It doesn't address a particular business problem per se but definitely helps with communication in a remote environment.
  • Ease of access
  • Price
  • One-click login
Cons
  • Video and audio quality
  • It doesn't work efficiently for more than 10 group of people.
  • Accessibility with other web browsers such as Firefox, UC Browser, and Safari.
Google meet is well suited if you are video calling with maybe 3- 4 people. It has good audio and video quality and can be accessed through one-click login via Gmail. Anyone can record the meeting, although the recording will be stored in the cloud of the host. However, in scenarios where attendees need to be muted, anyone can do that, which means I can mute an attendee and remove them from the conference. Therefore, this authority needs to be done with as only the host should have the ability to mute or remove a particular attendee.
