We use LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo to remotely access those computers that are connected to the company network. The main functions are to collect details of certain symptoms (usually screenshots) , to troubleshoot, and to allow a remote system administrator logon (purposes: software installation or IT troubleshooting). Problem 1: Sometimes the sizing of the window isn't optimal, making it difficult to navigate down to the taskbar of the specific screen or to the "close" button in the top right corner of an application window. Problem 2: Some screen resolutions are not the optimal orientation, again the navigation between the multiple screens can be a challenge (even the zoom level could require constant adjustments in those cases). Otherwise, the absolute majority of the functions work all fine, we enjoy using this tool.

LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo's remote administator logon works fine, the auto-reconnect works fine, the remote reboot works fine. The direct transfer of an installation file or log file would be a time-saver, but that perhaps exceeds the capacities of this tool. Our customers are in Switzerland can have computers in the wrong language for us, it could help when the other language support colleague could directly join, but the wrong region blocks totally for them, the trusted contact relationship between two LogMeIn users would help a lot, as an alternative list of partners whom we could also invite in a session (by default, we cannot add them at all).

  • Advanced security features.
  • Multi platform support. Logmein offers robust support across multi platform including windows, linux, mac, ios and android.
Internal IT support, customer support for tech companies and likely educational institutions. LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo might be less appropriate to small business owners to likely cost. For basic troubleshooting tasks, less expensive and simpler tools might be appropriate for some users, as logmein rescue's advanced features can be at times overkill.

We use LogMeIn Rescue to remote connect to our clients computers when they initially sign up with our software so that we can train the client on how to operate the software. We also use LogMeIn Rescue to provide tech support to our existing clients in order to be able to see exactly what they are seeing on their screen and to provide a much more effective tech support experience.

LogMeIn Rescue is a wonderful tool if you are offering any kind of software to clients that require the need for you to access their screen. It is also a wonderful tool for your clients as they can click to connect to support and connect with you for any tech support needs they may have. The only time I feel like LogMeIn Rescue would be less appropriate is if you are working with clients that have secure data on their computers that should not be viewed by others, even tech support.

I've been using LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo for more than 3 years now and it has been a perfect tool to support users all around the world. From easy to difficult cases, from a log in issue to a completely full new installation of software, this tool has offered me simplicity to work with the remote computers and communicate with the remote user at the same time. It has become my preferred tool for my remote support duties.

Easy option to share the remote access method (link, PIN or sent by email) so the end user has multiple options to share access depending on the issue. Even having the option to have this to be executed as a service to have the option to remote since the initialization of MS Windows.

We use LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo for all of our webroot remote assistance calls. So we have about 50 support reps across thje world who use this on a daily basis to assist customers with their machines and the webroot software. Without it, we would not be able to provide exceptional support

  • We can customize it and put our company name which I like the most.
  • Rescue Calling Card for our existing clients and they can connect to us by just clicking on it.
  • Very much user friendly and easy to use, Even if you google search then it will show on the top of it
Well suited scenarios is that it does not give a warning while taking remote that this might be a spam because we will have the full paid version but if you are using trial then it keeps on dropping and a warning while taking a remote ..

We mainly use LogMeIn Rescue for those times when the regular LogMeIn software isn’t set up on a PC. It’s super helpful because we can jump in and provide support without needing to pre-install anything, and even the less tech-savvy users can handle it easily. This makes it a real time-saver when we need to deal with urgent issues. It’s perfect for situations where we need quick, ad-hoc access to troubleshoot and resolve problems. We typically rely on it when time is critical, and it lets us support a variety of devices across different locations, keeping everything running smoothly.
  • LogMeIn Rescue allows for immediate remote access without needing the software pre-installed on the end user’s device. This is especially helpful for one-off support situations where time is critical, and there’s no opportunity to set up remote access ahead of time. Users simply provide a code, and we’re in.
  • One helpful feature is how simple it is for non-tech-savvy users to connect. The interface is straightforward, and the connection process involves just a few easy steps, making it as simple as can be for users who aren't comfortable with tech.
For us it's just super useful when we need an immediate way to connect with a user. Even more so if we are dealing with a not so technical person on the other end. For what its purpose is, it does a fantastic job. If only they could work on a cheaper pricing plan for small businesses.

We use LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo as a remote support tool to assist our end users. Our main reason for looking at a remote support solution was to be able to support our mobile users (road warriors!) as our previous solution wasn't enabling us to reach the problems in a timely fashion. We've used other GoTo products in the past and this solution came out on top.

  • Ease of use for our end users
LogMeIn Rescue allows seamless admin control over our end users devices, both internal and also more importantly (to us) external of our network. We have a handful of users that work the majority of their working week out of the office and they often need support to keep them moving. From a central console our service desk technicians are able to remotely assist over 5G networks and gas station wifi, and take control of the issue and 9/10 resolve without having to be physically present at the device.

We primarily use LogMeIn Rescue during our escalation calls directly with our clients. Sometimes, when emails cannot fully give a visual of the issue that is being reported, we schedule a call and utilize LogMeIn Rescue to screenshare with the customer. With the native build it tooling, we are able to take snapshots, take notes, and get to the resolution much quicker than via traditional modes of communication such as email or chat
  • A very clean user interface. Makes it very easy to navigate
  • Features are very useful without feeling like bloatware
  • Screen recording while seamlessly screensharing
I really enjoy using LogMeIn Rescue. After the initial installation of the software (for the end user), troubleshooting and resolving escalations is a breeze. With any tech, there are up sides and down sides. But with LogMeIn Rescue, the pros outweigh the cons by miles. It streamlines so much communication and allows you to see first hand what the issue is.

I have been a user of LogMeIn Rescue platform for almost 5 years now. I have used this tool to solve the problem of providing technical support remotely when calling customer support.
We have used this tool to be able to support our end-customers on various categories of devices, like laptops, PC & mobile.

  • Detailed & flexible reporting options for admins.
  • Minimalistic & very user friendly UI.
  • Affordable pricing options.
It's a great tool & fully serves its purpose of facilitating the agents with the ability to solve their customer's issues remotely & efficiently.
The tool is very easy to use & requires very less amount of training for any new agents to get started with it. The remote session gets initiated with ease & it comes with a lot of great features.

We use this as a tool for the IT department to be able to see and take control of a user's machine so we can see what they are experiencing and troubleshoot it. This allows us to be able to go in as an admin and support users from any location with the only need being an internet connection.

  • Ability to have user launch a desktop icon and get a code from support to connect simply
  • Troubleshooting with remote workers

  • Troubleshooting items that take a long time where unattended access allows you to check in as needed.
  • Troubleshooting, when users are having issues with the domain and other tools are unable to connect
  • Troubleshooting to have a user show you what is going on when it may not be clear.
  • Less appropriate for something super quick where admin may not be needed. In this case, it is easier for a user to show you the issue via Skype or Teams

Sending a link or code to remote users to start a support session works well. Using it to connect to online computers on the internal network is good.

Trying to reach computers not on the network without sending out a link or code doesn't work at all.

We use LogMein Rescue to assist in remote sessions with clients and to remote into a host computer from remote locations. It is easy to set up and to work with when you need instant help. I have been using their products for about 15 years and have seen many changes come through.

We use it for supporting internal endusers, as well as for supporting public individuals and business who use our services.
  • Provides connectivity to almost any device
  • Allows full control of a device once connected
  • Offers additional options like administrative access w/o repeated prompts, reboots with auto-reconnect, etc.
  • Persistent connection options are available for frequently-supported devices
Good for situations where you need quick access to an attended remote system, works okay with less tech-savvy users but not with ones who find tech completely incomprehensible, not a good solution for unattended system access

Our company has recently switched to using LogMeIn Rescue to provide support to our customer base with their technical issues. The entire Technical and application support personnel are using it. The major advantage of LogMeIn is that it provides multi monitor support as well as reconnection after a remote reboot without going through the authorization procedure done in the beginning. The customers being served are also satisfied knowing that they give the authority to access their system to only known people by acknowledging it at each instance.
  • The customer at the other end is in control of giving access to their system. It is not a free anytime access to their system even if you have connected before.
  • The technician, after getting access, can switch between monitors on the remote system to access windows popping in different monitors.
  • You can perform a remote reboot and still connect without the customer intervention once the authorization has been given. This is helpful when you are doing a remote software installation that requires multiple system reboot.
  • You can get the remote system configuration information without invoking the command window on their side.
Situations where you need to reconnect with the remote system after a remote reboot, LogMeIn Rescue is very helpful. It helps both the parties by not tying up another computer through which you will have to otherwise do the remote control. LogMeIn Rescue becomes inconvenient when it cannot be scheduled for a future meeting and send reminders to both parties. Currently, we have to resort to other reminder systems or call to connect.

Currently my whole team is working remotely, for handling the production machines and to resolve the issue while doing the production we are using the LogMeIn Rescue. This tool has solved major problems of working remotely that is you don't have to be present physically to resolve the encountered error or bugs and you can fix those problem remotely irrespective of your location.

On the live production it is necessary that the machines are not affected or prompted upon the remote access. With the help of LogMeIn rescue after taking the session and observing the bots, the production doesn't gets impacted and the issues get resolved in real-time giving us better productivity and saving time

We use Rescue to enable us to provide timely support for our clients. Having direct access to our clients systems is critical in allowing us to diagnose and fix common issues with their PC. It allows us to capture data and quickly resolve complicated problems that otherwise would be difficult to walk a customer through without accessing their PC.

Considering my role is supporting our software product installed on clients PCs, Rescue allows full access to our customer's system. That allows us to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems that the customer is not able to do so on their own. It also allows us to deploy updates and small scripts that make our software better and more reliable.

We use LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo to service all of our clients when support is required. We find it saves valuable time without needing potentially them to instigate a remote connection. Being able to support clients without any interaction from them saves valuable time when servicing a high volume of devices. Similarly, knowing about issues often before the customer does helps avoid possible support calls.

For us, it has always just worked and worked well. It’s easy to train users up on, too. Having something you can trust to just work, alleviates a lot of stress in the support world. LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo was only used to remote into users desktops and laptops to troubleshoot issues. we did not have a chance to work on mobile devices, but we know there is a feature for it

LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo is good for more small to medium size businesses. if you are looking for something easy and reliable LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo is a good tool to use. it is good on desktop and laptops; however, we know there was a feature for mobile devices but never had the time to use it.

Being a tech in education, LogMeIn was crucial to help solve IT issues for student once the pandemic hit and we tried to limit our exposure. I was able to solve countless issues from the safety of my couch and in my comfy PJ's.

It is so easy to talk the customer through the install process. That is the key with remote work and working with "non tech" people. Simple, Quick, and Easy!

LogMeIn is great for supporting the end user in a help desk oriented talk. Even basic user such as young students can follow the simple instructions to set up and install, so we can remote in.

The GUI is pretty straight forward and easy to navigate, but there are many power features once you get more comfortable with the the basics.

I currently use LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo to support our users IT related issues. LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo is a godsent when it comes to remedying technical issues and has many great features. I would like to see some upgrades for better access to remoting into mobile devices, since the last time But short of that LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo is truly an asset in the technology world!
  • Love that you can remote into mobile devices (cellphones)
  • Love the tech collaboration of sharing sessions
  • Also the file transfer aspect
  • And remote starting of users PC and the ability to see PC prior to them logging in
