We use GoTo Connect daily for our phone system, dial plan, remote calls, and virtual meeting calls. It is essential to our current business and for future expansion in our industry. It seamlessly switches across all the computers and mobile devices that are used for work, meetings, and scheduling. I also appreciate that it integrates directly with other software that we use daily.

GoTo Connect made Finnet employees' day-to-day work easier; allowing everyone to perform and call wherever they perform; Previously, there was no way to receive calls only in the office on physical devices; after implementing Goto Connect, we have Mobility as a big step forward. We also improved costs; with the adoption of Goto Connect, our expenses with long-distance calls and mobile devices were reduced due to the minutes plan that we contracted in the project.

We used GoToConnect as our primary phone system across all teams but primarily in our sales and service organizations. It provided a stable inbound and outbound phone medium for our organization. Additionally, it provided call recording and monitoring. We also purchased and used the system's Contact Center functionality. We integrated the call system into Salesforce to increase user productivity.

GoTo Connect has really amped up our ability for unified communications. It has greatly enhanced our connections while working remotely. It's also really nice that they have a mobile app that we can use on most of the devices staff members have. It makes it easy to never miss a meeting! I recall a specific instance when a weather event (that would have previously shut down communication) made no impact on staff's ability to communicate and meet to discuss a course of action in response to said weather event - since we were able to meet via any device instead of being tied down to a land phone line or a computer-dependent on internet service being available.

We have been researching new platforms for our telecommunications system, for starters. We currently have one system for the phones, which was recently integrated with Temas, which besides answering live calls at your desk, no one seems to know how to do anything else with it. We sometimes use Teams for videoconferences, but some people prefer Zoom, so we toggle between those. Using an integrated product such as GoToConnect could solve these clunky and multiple systems juggling acts. I am not our IT person, however, so my input and influence only go so far.

Right now, 2-3 of our staff are moving to new states, so GTC allows for fluid and uninterrupted communications during their transition, which makes for a more productive work environment overall.

Go to connect is the primary form of voice and meeting communication in our company.

  • User interface can be confusing. First time use made it hard to find a meeting room.
  • The soft phone application shows indications of missed calls when the log has been cleared.
Our customer support center uses GoTo Connect softphones. This is perfect as they do not need to have a physical phone as they are doing all their work on the pc already.

We mostly use GoTo Connect as a phone system within our company. VOIP is nice to use at our remote mine sites where we only require an internet connection to make it work. It helps to keep people connected, and we've deployed Yealink video phones. Hence, we have instant video calls to accompany the audio portion which is a big help in keeping people connected when working remotely.

Very good as a cost-effective solution to voice communications where users are distributed across the country or further across the globe. We're a mining company and often work on the side of a mountain or underground where traditional telephone service does not reach, so as long as we have internet, it can even be satellite or a cellular internet hub, we can make this service work.

We use GoTo Connect as our primary phone system for the business. It handles the traditional auto-attendant and calls queue flow that we were accustomed to with our previous on-premise system. It supports multiple queues, mailboxes, and all the other features we were looking for. Set up was very easy and their onboarding team was great!

The biggest problem I had with my contractors was finding a product that we all could use to meet our objectives. It can be difficult, especially when you are working with people only one or two times to find a product that we all use efficiently. To be able to send and receive calls easily was so important to us.

GoTo Connect was able to combine individual business needs for our stores, our call center, and remote workers into one seamless application. While we faced some challenges because our business was unique, GoTo Connect has been helpful in finding ways to have our needs met, and they are continuing to upgrade their services. Our business is unique in a way where we have public stores that have a different way of fielding calls than our call center does. With the use of dial plans, GoTo Connect Contact Center, ring groups, and more, we were able to move all our needs to their company.

We have been using GoTo Connect since it was Jive and our use of GoTo for our VOIP needs has grown with the product. As a high-volume practice, we receive thousands of phone calls every week which results in hundreds of missed calls. With GoTo, we were able to develop a better dial plan for getting calls into the right lane from the moment they come in, while also allowing us to receive every call in real-time as opposed to callers getting a busy signal. We have utilized call queues to keep our callers on the line which has resulted in a reduction n0of the number of missed calls needing to be returned every week. Instead of hundreds per day, it's down to a hundred a week. The number of callers that hang up and call back multiple times in a row has been nearly eliminated. We use the Call Center application to determine our highest call volume times of day, how long our agents are on a call, and how long callers are waiting, all information that informs our decisions for staffing and hiring. We have a mix of users using the softphone application as well as physical phones, and even the app.

GoTo Connect is a video conferencing tool that allows us to see and hear each other in real-time, which makes it perfect for language learning. You can see your teacher's face and body language as they explain grammar points or provide feedback on your speaking, and they can also see yours. This makes for a much more interactive and engaging experience than just audio alone. However, there are also some situations where GoTo Connect may not be the best option. Replaced our legacy ShoreTel on-premise PBX and phone system. Had a better, more reliable mobile phone application for using company phone extension on mobile device. Saved money by consolidating the purchasing of a phone system, mobile application for communication, and GoToMeeting for business virtual meetings. Almost all of our phone users use deskphones, desktop application, or mobile application to communicate with GoTo Connect.
  • The mobile app is not perfect, but better than others we have used (e.g. ShoreTel Mobility)
  • Connecting new desk phones purchased directly from them or from other resellers is relatively easy.
  • Auto attendants (Dial Plans) are powerful and intuitive to create with their workflow style editor.
  • The mobile app struggles sometimes with not ringing when a call is coming in - fighting against smartphones constantly trying to optimize battery usage.
  • Support used to be stellar under Jive, but is now offshored and difficult to work with sometimes, especially for least-cost routing issues.
  • We were unable to port in some of our numbers

GoTo Meeting is a valuable resource for gathering colleagues in conversation about issues we need to address when we cannot be together in person. We are able to host meetings with everyone in the company. Screen sharing during meetings helps everyone to see and discuss the topics and issues we face. We do not have to send screen shots or docs to the group for their review, they can simply look on their screen to see the information.

The Owner of our company has threatened me to search and shop for other companies as certain people within our company need to listen to call recordings but aren't allowed access to admin features like call routing.
  • Being able to contact support via phone. It takes a lot of research to get a support phone number. They really push the online chat support.
- Uptime. Very little downtime/issues with service. Call routing/ auto attendant is very easy to use!

I use GoTo Connect for my work phone with an IP phone, and also on my desktop to accept and make calls relating to my work at the Home Builders Association.

We use the GoTo Connect for our On Call (after hours calls). It is great for I am able to see who calls and if the on call technician reached out to the customer. I like that I am able to get emails of each call to which really helps after the weekend. Go To Connect is rather easy to use.
We love that we can see if our technician has returned the calls after hours or not.

  • If it could be set for one on technician each day instead of all phones going off each day.
Even if the phone service is not working in our office at least GoTo Connect works and calls our phones. We had a time that during the holiday the phones were not being forwarded on Memorial Day I was able to go into the website and change for all the phones to go to our technician that was on call.

We use it for all our desk phones and we have iPhones for portable use that just do not have a sim card installed. We utilize voice mail, Paging through Algo devices and have door phones for calling people in our building after hours from access doors. We had an old on-premise Samsung phone system that was aging and had limited features. Also when Samsung dropped support for their system it made it difficult to get ahold of parts and support. Switching to GoTo saved us a ton of time and effort as well as allowed us to move away from our EnGenius portables that had horrible reception in our building.

I guess one thing I am a little frustrated with would-be holiday schedules, I wish I could use a calendar from year to year and say on these holidays no matter what days they are year to year play these specific messages when calling our main number, but its a manual thing to change.

GoTo 'LogMeIn Rescue' is used to connect to customers' remote Servers, Workstations & Laps. We monitor, repair, and run Critical Updates and Firmware. Customers are throughout CONUS (Continental USA). We install the app in 'Unattended Access. The reason is simple; our customers are busy, so, unless it's an emergency, all remote work is done after the customer's Work hours. After all, they have to have the income to pay our Invoice.
  • Up Time is at 99.9% (Nobody's Perfect).
  • Have yet to lose a connection through Rescue; the exception is carrier issues like some goof cuts the fiber optic feed to the area.
  • Speed, over the years we've seen the response time increase and be very stable.
  • Especially appreciate the Notices if there's any issue/problem or maintenance scheduled
  • Training is outstanding!
  • Tracking has become quite robust.
  • Work with Help Desk 3rd party apps or offer a simple GoTo solution.
  • A Customer Info (i.e. User Log On & maybe Secure Password storage).
  • Prompt for Admin login.
Immediate Customer issues as well as Monitor Remote Servers, Workstations & Laptops. Run Critical Updates and Firmware. We have yet to experience an issue or have a customer make an issue with us, and the intrusiveness, speed, and ease of use!

We implement GoTo Connect for a variety of clients who need a VOIP solution that is customizable and robust. The solution is also quite scalable, serving organizations of 10 users to hundreds. Whether you need basic call features, or fully customized queues, dial plans, number routing, and more, you can find a workable solution using GoTo Connect.

  • Uptime is generally high, minimal downtime
  • Responsive support team able to assist with difficult issues past Tier 1 support
  • Differences in the UI can cause confusion (between Lines & Extensions for example)
  • The "new" GoTo Connect interface has features still missing, despite being rolled out to some clients
  • More customizations for queues
GoTo Connect is well suited for businesses looking for VOIP service but does not have the infrastructure or knowledge for on-premise PBX installations. It's scalable and easy to implement/migrate (as long as you have a capable IT staff or MSP to manage this for your company).

It is also well suited for organizations as small as 10 users who just need calls, to a very large company with a large number of locations, each with individual need for customization.

It is not well suited for those looking to have absolute control over every piece of the PBX, as some features and troubleshooting tools are only available by contacting GoTo Support.

We use it as our telephone - communication system since it was Jive. We stop using our common telephone switch and substituted it with Jive (now GoTo) as our internal and external communication system.

  • Works perfectly as our automatic call assistant 24-7.
  • Manages all our internal communication between all our facilities.
  • The GoTo meeting rooms aren't as easy to use compared to Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
  • The GoTo Meeting App should have a better promotion to be as popular as the mentioned apps.
GoTo Connect is perfectly suited to work as the main and only telephone system of a company. Is less appropriate for internet meetings.

Remote working with GoTo Connect since it was Jive and now remote working is the thing to do. GoTo Connect has changed my business 360 degrees with softphones, GoTo Meeting, and got customer support that is always helpful kept us in the industry before and after COVID-19.

GoTo Connect is the phone system used by our case management department both with in house employees and at home employees. We also use it to conduct meetings and have training sessions. We have multiple lines that we assign users to based on skill, position, need etc. We also have a receptionist and customer service workers that field and reroute calls.

  • Being able to see users' availability.
  • Being able to see users' call logs.
  • Multi-line call forwarding.
  • After hours recording services.
  • Transcription services.
GoTo Connect is well suited for call center environments that offer a variety of services or products to clientele. It would also be useful for remote employees and cloud based businesses where users may not be together. [Additionally] it would be a good tool for single or multi-line small businesses.
