The single biggest factor was a recommendation from the organization that helps provide us with some networking support. They use it for themselves and are very familiar with it. Based on their recommendation we went with it. However, after using it for several years I don't think it is really geared towards simple organization with limited needs but rather towards call centers and sales departments.

GoTo Connect integrates with our Practice Management Software, Curve Hero Dental, and sends the information of the caller directly to our software, which then relays to us on screen, in the system, who is calling (complete with a direct link to their chart) so that we can pull up their information even before we've answered the call!

We used to be with Ooma. But out grew their system that was available at that time. GoTo was actually cheaper and had better flexibility for our needs so that was the initial deciding factor. Once we made the decision we found the flexibility and features were far superior to what we had before. Everyone claims to be reliable. We had issues before so my hopes were not high, but GoTo has been awesome. On the rare occasion there was down time it was very minimal and they were very transparent and sent many updates.

I was not involved with the initial purchase of GoTo but we stay with them for the usability, features, and price of the product. However, as a non-profit, price is always a big factor for us. We also are always looking at something to see if it is easy to use and has features that will make us more efficient and has reporting to help us make decisions.

GoTo Connect was the right choice for our business for a number of reasons. The first is cost. GoTo Connect is very competitively priced, and the features we were looking for were all included in the base price. Second is features. GoTo Connect offers all the features we need, including HD audio and video conferencing, screen sharing, and integration with our existing CRM system. Third is reliability. GoTo Connect is a well-established platform with a proven track record of reliability. fourth is customer service. The GoTo Connect team provided outstanding customer service throughout the purchase process and continues to do so on an ongoing basis. For these reasons, GoTo Connect was the right choice for our business.

Our budget was tight on this project and they really came through for us with various incentives and the right price to make the deal work. Between the free phones and coming in under what I wanted per month, and the inclusion of other services like LastPass it was a no-brainer.

As a business you want the best but they have to fit within the business price and features. Goto Connect has both all the features and the price is amazing for all that your do get. Plus needs to be remote Goto Connect has that and reliable not just trying to take your money but actually help your business make money and look like the leader.

Product usability was the biggest factor in the decision to use GoTo Connect. With part of our staff being remote and the other part being in office, we needed something that would be easy to implement and train on in a dual work environment. It was much easier to train our remote staff with a product that was so user friendly and wasn’t boggled down with useless or unnecessary features.

Product features is the most important factor when making a purchasing decision. When looking for an all-in-one tool it's important to do your research on the range of features included. There are sometimes small nuances that you weren't expecting to be omitted that can have a big impact on your day to day functioning. GoTo Connect offers many features that are essential to the functioning of our small company- especially because we need to be in frequent contact with each other and our clients.

Although I did not make the initial decision to purchase GoTo Connect, I kept it onboard (after looking at other alternatives) as the value proposition is amazing. The price is very reasonable and the scope of services - along with the amazing support - made it a keeper. It provides all the telephonic support for our office and, especially during COVID, the functionality and ability to create answer trees was key.

We needed to move from a local phone system to something in the cloud, as we were allowing many people to start working remotely, and our old system didn't have a way to make that work. I had used GoTo products at a previous job and I knew that they tended to function well and be easy to use.

In setting up a new business and having never used a VOIP system before, it was important that I could find good documentation on the service so that I could teach myself how to get the phones set up in our new office. The documentation for this product was quite good, and it walked me through a number of the things that I was going to have to do to get started. When I also found that the pricing was more reasonable than some other competitors, I made the choice to use Jive (the original name of this product).

As our employees work from different locations, especially since the onset of the Covid pandemic, the features offered which allow us to keep track of all incoming messages regardless of where we are at that moment are an invaluable asset. As a result we can respond quickly to any questions or inquiries, regardless of our location.

For our organization, it was simply a cost-cutting measure as a small business. We didn't dislike our previous service provider, RingCentral. We were actually with them for almost a decade. We simply needed to cut costs so that we could allocate that money elsewhere within the organization as we continue to streamline our organization moving forward.

Features- we needed to be able to transfer calls from two offices between secretaries and we needed to be able to answer the phone while outside of the office. No one else gave us what we needed with a knowledgable staff and a decent price.
