I will state an example where I used GoToMeeting. I had a customer in Korea who was facing issues with the network. It was a bug on the wireless auth side. Obviously, it's not easy to travel and work on this issue. So we set up a meeting using GoToMeeting. I worked on their issue from the comfort of my home, got the relevant details, and fixed it on the call itself. It's that simple.

GoTo Meeting is a great product if you do a lot of outreach to multiple people - most people have Zoom at this point but in the event you have a customer who does not have that downloaded, or maybe is not so tech saavy, you can click the meeting link to GoTo Meeting and instantly be joined into the meeting - no need to download another application.

GoTo Meeting is definitely more strongly suited for larger corporations, but it handles even small offices and their needs well enough to be suitable for anyone and their conferencing needs. It also is great for offices that have staff all over, not just the city (or surrounding city), but those that might work remotely (or if they are just out of town!).

I have found that not all of the external constituents I work with are especially tech-savvy and they seem to be scared off by Zoom or Teams, thinking that those are very business-focused platforms. Being able to use GoToMeeting to interact with them is very helpful because it feels like daunting and is a bit easier for them to navigate.

In my opinion, there are too many recent security issues with this company. I could forgive them if it was just once, but it has happened to me multiple times within a year, which I feel is terrible. I also feel like they were not truthful during these breaches, which has lowered my trust in the company exponentially. I originally liked their products, but its really too bad that I can no longer trust them due to my experience.

While there are less costly alternatives available, I would recommend GoTo Meeting over the other options when communications may be more critical such as an important presentation or sales calls. GoTo Meeting has been around for a long time and has many features, but the features offered tend to be standard options with many of the new products.

If they can get these issues resolved, it will be a terrific product for many companies. We have been reporting the issues & working w/ their help desk the entire time we have used it. They are very nice, but haven't solved our issues yet

The GoTo Meeting is best suited if the team size or the number of participants is less than 10. You can easily give sharing access you will not get lost in finding who is talking and then grant them sharing access. Also, if you are not the organizer of the call you won't be able to start the meeting unless you have an account with GoTo Meeting, you will have to wait for the host to let you in, and only the host can allow the user to share the screen and record the call which is good as well as bad

GoToMeeting is great for remote meetings and training seminars. The software is responsive and it has features that allow you to share content during a meeting. Meetings can be recorded for later review or sharing. It could work well for online teaching, although I have not used it much for that purpose. For situations where users can't download the software or app, it might not be the right solution.

GoTo Meeting is a great all around resource. I love that we use it for phone and video conferencing. It's awesome we can easily connect our computers to screens and conference in other people to our meetings easily. All software has issues but GoTo is really fast at fixing them and their updates recently have been great in terms of functionality and design. If you don't want to have separate companies for each of these business needs, I definitely recommend GoTo!

I always use it when a partner wants to present a new product, functionality. We join the meeting with 100 to 200 other contacts and it's always very stable and responsive.
I'm not sure that it is adapted for a discussion in group with several people speaking at the same time.

If you want to host meetings with either a large number of people, we used the breakout rooms to separate people to be able to pitch ideas to different stakeholders and then come back together at the end to discuss findings, that way, each person got the most benefit from each meeting.

If you are looking for an all-in-one platform that has no time restrictions and works relatively well, GoTo Meeting is a good, affordable option. The fact that you get extremely feature-rich VOIP calling and every user gets their own unlimited video meeting address is a huge plus. Video quality was less impressive than some competitors.
